what is the jubilee clip for many thanks
Hi Graham, thanks for working this out and uploading these 2 videos. A great homemade solution that I’m going to copy! How has it lasted, any further leaks from the seal?
Its been 8 months now since I replaced both oil seals and no leaks whatsoever. I understand the new oil seals are slightly more forgiving then the original ones, but I reckon if you measure accurately using the tool, you will get within a 1mm tolerance at the hub aperture, which would be microns at the oil seal.
Did this method work, ie did you ever get oil leaks? Thanks

@@grahamedwards5303 brilliant job, it's one of many on my list of things to do. Thanks for the video!
Which size of bearing, length and diameter of tube and other informations so others have a chance to make the same tool, nice video
Watch Part One, I mention the dimensions there
I already did that. Maybe you will give me the number, which is normally stamped on the bearing. Then I can find out the rest myself. Thanks
The bearing is LM29748/29710 Challenge Taper Roller Bearing 38.10mm X 65.09mm X 18.03mm, and I got it from www.bearingoptions.co.uk for £12.99
Where is the link for part ONE please..
I have added the link to part one for you in the description above... ruclips.net/video/_w843ofzoZo/видео.html
