What’s the runtime and recharge time with the 5ah battery? Does it run smooth or is there vibration? Does it get hot under continuous use? Does it bog down under pressure at lower speeds? Is it quiet enough to use comfortably without hearing protection?
How long do you think the various sizes of batteries will last? Let's say you painted a camry as a complete refinish and color sanded all body panels. How many batteries would it take to continuously polish the vehicle without downtime to charge batteries? Does any one have experience with cordless rotary polishers and this kind of scenario? Best guess?
@@snipeyoudoe8065 I ended up buying one with a 25% coupon I had so it came out to 59.99 plus tax. I also got a 5ah battery with it as well. In the next couple months, I'm gonna sand a hood with 1500 grit sandpaper and see how long the battery lasts and how it compares to the dewalts and makita corded buffers that I have. The dewalt units i have had for over 15 years and still work fine. They are dw849 type 1 polishers.
Just bought one today only had my extreme 4ah battery and a 2.5 for my grinders. I Buffed a black rav 4 and my 4ah only lasted for a fender and door sanded with 2000g then my 2.5 lasted for a door and part of a quarter pannel. I’m getting the 8ah next maybe on sale or a discount. I ran the machine with a 5inch lake county pads idk if maybe a smaller pad makes it use less energy.
@@juanmartinez-tf1gj Does the balance feel decent with the 4ah battery on vertical panels? Is there a lot of gear noise and/or vibration? Does it get hot after continuous use? I have the M18 Milwaukee rotary, it’s awesome, but it’s been used hard for years, on its last leg.
Got one today, mine also makes that grinder sound when its coming to a stop, no issues with it though, i think thats how they all are, maybe how they are designed, maybe direct pinion gear driven, or gear system for torque 🤷
Thank you for your constructive criticism! I would suggest you reach out to Harbor Freight to stop including these handles with their rotary polishers as you own a car detailing business and clearly know more than a $6.8 billion retail company. Thanks for the info🤙🏾 I’m split between this and the Milwaukee
Same here lol. I just bought the Milwaukee mini buffer so hopefully that's good
Good video, but I would not recommend using a glaze with a wool pad. It’s counter-intuitive. You’d want to use a softer foam pad
Absolutely, thanks for your advice!

Does yours make a metallic sound from motor upon start and stop? Just got mine and wasn't sure if this is normal or zi should go exchange it.
Mine starts smoothly and upon shutdown, there is a metallic sound. Kinda sounds like an angle grinder but I haven’t had any issues with it.

New subscriber here. Glad I found your channel
Thank you for your support!
How do I replace a drive? The carving is kind of huge
متشکرم از شما آقای محترم
Number 7 isn’t a polish it’s a glaze. Other than that great video
Wrong chemical. Glaze isn't to be used as a cutting compound. It goes on after polish
For the love of God please just turn the damn thing on
Wrong product
You absolutely don’t need the handle to polish a car.. 😂 you should stay over the pond…
