I've used the same DA Hercules polisher from Harbor F. and meguiar M105 on a black truck the only problem is the dust that it creates while polishing and then it sticks to the paint. So white dusy on a black paint is a headache.
I just came across some compound I'm using that is good for fiberglass and gelcoat called wizards turbo cut it sells for $30 I had some clearcoat on a vette that dried harder than crap
@@HAJ-o9n it’s good if you’ve got really tuff work to do. If I was just doing a light polish, I’d go with the random. The big difference is this thing will wear you out, it’s got a lot of torque!!!
@@Steve0885 wool makes more heat. And it’s hard to get heat into fiberglass. I typically do heavy work with wool and then swap to foam pads when doing finer polishing.
The cord is 25 feet long. Awesome.

If you can get it local or don't mind ordering online get you some wizards turbo cut and try it out I think you will like it better than meguiars
Meguiars makes an updated version of the compound its M110 and the polish is M210

Thanks. Would u say the forced rotation here is a happy medium between rual action and rotary? I am just a hobbyist!

@@CoyotefiftyF100 i appreciate the advice.
Why would you use a wool pad on a forced rotation polisher? I haven't seen anyone using it with anything but a foam pad

@@CoyotefiftyF100 me too 🙌🏻
Looks like it came out ok but all those scratches disappear with a rotary. Cut with rotary polish with forced or long throw DA wax with RO
Definitely not as refined as the flex 3401, but I guess it serves a cheaper alternative
@@404notfound..... for someone that’s serious about it or starting out, it’d be a good way to start out and then when replaced use as a backup
Wow I'm shocked that is gelcoat. I would have thought that it was painted clear coat.
Bullet Boats are high quality builds. And new gelcoat is unlike most of the older stuff out there.
