This is Stephanie's second and final game on her visit to Play On and we really wanted to see her Space Wolves. Fun Fact, when Play On painted Space Wolves for the Horus Heresy event at Warhammer World it was Stephanie / @orionsbeltminis who painted the Leman Russ to accompany the army we painted. In this Combat Patrol she faces off against Mubin and his Thousand Sons.

The best thing about Play On Tabletop, the great sportsmanship on display. Constant reminders that players get rerolls.
I love battles that are this close because it really shows the importance of fighting for every point you can what with how Mubin would've won if he killed the dread differently.

Changer of ways influencing the dice rolls here. Made for some great twists in both directions. A joy to watch!
That Wreathed in Warpflame play was one of the biggest cases of, "Dice tell stories," I think I've seen so far. You can almost imagine those Terminators calling out to Tzeentch, screaming, "The Changer shall immolate you in flames, dogs of the Emperor, like the flames you burned Prospero with! Revenge for our fallen brothers!"

great matchup and a lot of fun to watch. I think if she would’ve used tank shock when she charged those terminators with the vehicle, it would have been a different story though.
As a Space Wolf player I was constantly willing Orion on! Awesomely painted wolves!

Great game! Just a heads up, Heroic Intervention doesn't work like 9th anymore. It can only be used on an enemy unit after it made a charge move. Those reivers could not heroically intervene.
Yup still adjusting to the new edition. That was actually my 2nd game of 10th edition ever

Its literally what my brother and i were looking for because we both want to start playing and we werent sure if we could do it with just the combat patrols for starters. Everyone always saying we need to spend on this and that in order to play but it looks like yall 2 made it happen! I love it. Aannnnddd i always wanted to have a space wolves army when i first found out about war hammer a couple weeks ago and my brother thought the thousand sons were awesome!!

Not sure if the rule is different for combat patrol or not, but 10th changed engagement range to 1 inch. Charges can now end up an inch away and still make it, but must be base to base if they can

Tsons have always been a close 2nd favourite in terms of armies for me (my first true love being Tyranids) though I think Tsons will be on the channel quite a bit more this edition

That high table looked cool at first but watching both players seemingly struggle to see dice in that tray.
I'm pretty tall so I wouldn't have that problem but I can see a reason for having a regular heighted table.
