"Rev" (Reverse) flips the reading to the opposite side of the protractor. In other words, if it reads 0 and you hit Rev, it will read 180. or 10, rev, 170, etc.
Good luck finding instructions. I couldn't find any. That's why I went to RUclips.
Annnnnnd mine doesn't have an "Off" button either, but I timed it, and it shut itself off at 5 minutes.

how do you turn it off? Mine stays on and never turns off. I have tried holding the on button, hitting it twice, nothing seems to turn it off unless you take out the battery.

How did your Jewish Star turn out?
I did make one about 20 years ago when I bought a new table saw and wanted to see how accurate the miter gauge it came with was.
I made two triangles then layed one on the other and xfer'd the lines where they overlapped. I cut the overlapped pieces out and glued everything together.
