Are the ice vanes always on, or can you turn them off?
@@ictpilot Hi, no ice vanes.. the PA46 uses inertial separation instead.. Fly Safely - Train Often .. DR
@@RWRPilotTraining That's right I forgot. I was thinking something about on the meridian they were always on but the silver eagle conversion you could open or close it and it helped with power I think.
@@ictpilot Piper gets the advertised performance by using a larger engine. They keep the systems simple to encourage owner pilots to upgrade from piston aircraft. Fly Safely - Train Often .. DR
It’s nice bit of kit the M700, but for the price, it falls short of the TBM 960 by a long way.
It costs significantly less ? Very close on speed?
@@ryany4326 it falls short mate.. almost as fast, range and price.. less power and more.. as I said. It’s a nice piece of kit, but the could have surpassed it.. like the epic 1000 which is also close in all respects.
LOL... The Piper is about 1 mill cheaper, and only 20 knts slower. That's allot of money for 20 knts. "Falls short by a long way", that's hilarious.
Each aircraft has a mission and a well researched price to sell. These are wonderful aircraft and they are selling well. Fly Safely - Train Often .. DR
