No. Some things do not need a sequel. Also the old team that made this is gone. Platinum Games is in a weird spot. After they have made Nier Automata and brought a great game into reality from Yoko Taro's vision everything they have made afterwards felt....Nier-esque. An imitation of its combat system with most of the feel that the game had, even if it was in another game. I do not know if they would manage a new metal gear rising revengeance as well as they did before....And there would be a lot of pussies and snowflakes crying about the game for sure with how straight to the point it is. I don't see them being successful in today's market and I'd rather not see a dear franchise and continuation gutted and unrecognisable like Mass Effect after 3 with Andromeda being a prime example of a great studio being a shadow of its former self.
This version, with the video is just breathless! Even now, at this point/year, this game is No.1 of all time, in ALL aspects(characters/OST/graphics will be surpassed at some point) of great concept. Always in my heart! Along with new DOOM series. This needs a second part nowdays, either a movie! 10 + + 👏👏👏👏
