dude this production is insane
Been running wheel spacers for five years without a problem ,
amazon spacers?
@@jnavarro13 Alloy USA brand
Good video, however for safety purposes don't rely on the floor jack to support your rig. Jack stands are a must! 👍
Or you could put it in 4 wheel drive to lock your transfer case.
Breaker bars come in handy, also jack stands.
I've had them on my grand Cherokee for 6 years now, but only 38k miles on them. No issue for mine. I have to have spacers on cuz of wrangler rims I'm running. Mine are 2 inch too
Not gonna lie the second you grabbed that bauer impact I was like. Yeah boss that ain't gonna get it. I've got the 1/2 impact and it will barely break my lugs free on my duramax with a full 5 amp battery. It's great for smaller stuff but I've got a 1/2 milwaukee for tough times. Now their driver/drill is a different ball game. She gets down, I choose it over my dewalt any day.
The 1/2” Milwaukee has made its way into my tool arsenal as well. Top tool, the versatility and power is unmatched. The bauer on the other hand, has lost a lot of power. Now it is only good for low torque applications.
Milwaukee
My DeWalt 3/8" takes off the lug nuts on my JK with no problem.
I've been wrenching on vehicles and bikes for about 40+ yrs now and always learn something new , but I was always told, DO NOT USE Antiseize on wheel studs.
Is it so they don't back themselves off?
@@Mr_Chode anti seize can be used on the mating surfaces. Between the wheels and rotors, never the studs.
@@kaleo_p I believe he was using Thread Lock, as he stated before he put wire brush to Studs?
Always loosen and tighten using a start pattern!
A star pattern is better.
great video! what kind of prep you doin for undercoating and how much rust you got?
Just sanding with 80grit, and I have no rust on the body. Just on the axles
I put my jeep in 4x4 helps me to remove the rotor with no extra tools
this video is such high quality for such little amount of subs
7:12 looking at 6 studs.
Loved working on my JK until rusty parts started breaking off...
Spacey!
Love the rig! what brand of fenders are those?
EAG
What brand is it
Your socket gets stuck on the lug nut cuz it's the wrong size
Will the 25mm rear spacer and 20mm front spacer damage the wheels, suspension and bushing in the long run?
In the long run, yes. For a more future-proof solution, get different wheels that will have the correct offset and dimensions as what you desire.
Effect is the same, @@developmentdivision122
When you have no idea what your doing but google and RUclips can make anybody a mechanic
When RUclips can make anyone a critique
Are they steel or aluminum?
Steel 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@franchisefred4066 what’s wrong with steel
You say you paid 90, 100, and even 200, what did you pay for them?
Retail is 89.99
One set is ~90$, if you have to pay tax. We are looking at 100$ ish.
200$ total for 2 sets…
Sorry if I was unclear.
Damn son, someone put those lug nuts on tight huh? 😂
Video doesnt start till 4 minute mark.
Are you nuts? Anti seize on wheel studs. That's a big no no.
Ikr. I think krazy glue was a better option 😂
Never ever use antiseize on wheel lug studs
How were your wheel bearings?
good still. I replaced the front wheel bearings a couple years ago. Since then no problems.
lol
should have bought a milwaukee or rigid
for removing loosened nuts, a drill works too
and using the proper size socket helps too
wire cutters much easier than a screwdriver
lol if it comes from the factory its safe
wow you really need to get educated
Women "man never mature..." yes we do every time a man takes spacers out of their rides, we pretty much hit maturity.
SO YOU CLAIMED TO USE THEM FOR 3 YEARS/80K NOW YOU SAY THEY COULD BE A SAFETY ISSUE LOL AND TOO WATCH OTHER VIDEOS ?
Just cause they worked for me for 3 years doesn’t mean that they will for everyone lol.
Do not use wheel spacers. They KILLED my friends daughter. Back in 2010 she was driving on the QEW highway near Toronto Canada, the back tire of a pick-up truck came off and entered the oncoming traffic and killed my friends Daughter Megan instantally. The reason for the tire coming off was eventually traced back to the installation of a wheel spacer on the pick-up truck. Wheel spacers should be outlawed.
Dude, "infinice"? No such word in English. Maybe in Brobonics.?
Actually you could have put it in four-wheel drive and it would have held the wheel since you know you're in park. Not using your brain, must be a Jeep owner thing. Lmmfao
