Some thing does remember me to that runescape. I played it 3 days then i went crazy of it. Minecraft and Kargeth are the best combo ever.
Damn, you are one of the most creative minecrafters I've seen.
I can't imagine you doing this whole world by yourself. The sewers alone would take weeks to complete. Kind of brings back the feeling of playing Majora's Mask when seeing this city.
I'm impressed with the quality and the sheer amount of your builds. This is an inspiration to many aspiring minecrafters out there, keep up the good work!

I do respect that with your unique building style and detail that these things must take a long time, but its been 3 months since the most recent update video (this one) and because i love it so much i just want to see it more often

I once had a mod that turned NPC villagers into humans. Their behaviors were changed too.
You could even get married and have children. The mod asks if you are a man or woman so your children know what to call you.
The children could even help farm and mine for you. I had so many people added to Kargeth. It was a blast. They even had soldiers to protect everyone.
The mod was called Minecraft Alive I think.
this city is awesome, looks great, and i love the sewer system. i think this would be a great setting area for like a minecraft role play movie or something
If the download works, I am going to most likely use this as a server spawn map....With a teleport to the border of all cities, of course. This is amazing, I can't believe how much work you must have put into it!

yep this is his first map ever so thats why he is so damn good ive seen the start of Kargath nothing really special average a little above average but with time his skills grew and now i consider him as one of the best Mc builders ever and by far my personal favorite

Well, I just got done watching all this. This City is AMAZING. I really enjoyed watching all of this. I am working on a world on minecraft for the xbox 360 since my laptop with minecraft crashed. But what you have here, makes my world look like crap lol. The castle im building is my first real major project and sadly i used super flat world just for starting. But my next project will be in a new seed. But I will also say most of your work has inspired me in many ways. Keep up the good work man!!

Because having the thieves guild in the sewers was such an innovative idea and that's only in Skyrim... Even in Gothic 2 there were thieves in the sewers. And i bet there are MANY more examples, even older than Gothic 2.
You should make a MASSIVE tower, preferably in the middle of Kargeth, overlooking the whole city. Called it the Kargeth Tower. Maybe have a bell at the top of the tower.

It's not a gift he has just practiced and persisted, he even explains how his designs evolve and some of the tricks he has discovered. He's talented no doubt, however not by fluke, just practice man.

This is what minecraft is all about! I don't think Notch and Jeb knew to what extent and lengs people could go to in minecraft untill it got released!! lets take the stairs for example. they created the stairs for well....stairs, but Madnes could most probably use the stairs in more than 50 ways! Witch is Incredible!!

My jaw actually dropped. You need to be a professional level designer, really, your talent is too amazing to be kept only to minecraft. You should be working with leading game developers for xbox or something :)

for the 10th update you should do a special and do a video showing the whole of kargeth and the world so far, maybe split into multiple videos, I for one would watch every minute of it !
great job on the mines, i really like that as it looks very natural. now if that's how mineshafts would look in the real game it would be epic!
You should ask the fans to pick a building that they want a tutorial of and what ever building gets the most votes ,gets the tutorial.

really nice builds and the spawn has improved a lot. when will we see the builders creations? I'm looking forward to that greatly :D
One thing your missing is a catacomb in your graveyard a large system of tunnels almost like a maze

I think you should have someone just constantly making quests and stuff so you can focus on the city, because the city will (hopefully) never be finished :3

I think you should have added a mark to tell if it was the new or the old photos, because it was sometimes a bit hard for me that hasn't seen any of your stuff before to get it ;)
Other than that the new town looks really sweet!

Great work, I used to do alot of medieval, but now I've moved on to a mix of dwarven-hi-tech-empire style. It's hard to explain, but if you've played skyrim you know what I mean.

you should definitely do some kind of quick tutorial about the small castle, not like a detailed version where you do block by block but like a quicker one :D

I think if you put water over some of the stone bricks in the sewers it would create a cool dripping water affect

next update suggestion with the spawn area looking waaay nicer next point of the oldest of ur creations Kargath hold needs some upgrading and with ur building skills keep getting better and better i trust u make it AAAAAAAAWSOME !!!!!!!!

I love the idea for a lot of this, but I feel the original look is a bit better. Its less complex, and not to bag on the dark ages, but it wasn't this extravagant.

Hey Madnes64, I'm starting a Medieval World and i was wondering were do you start, like what buildings would you start to build? Also when your building the roads do you just build them wherever? Thanks
+Billy Moore I think if you need building tips you should look at a RUclipsr named Grian. As for how to start I would start with a general plan, then build an outline of where buildings and roads should go. Build the roads, then make the frames of the buildings. Fill in the buildings' details, then make a final pass through to make sure everything looks nice.

Have you ever considered entering some of your amazing maps into contests to see if they can be picked to be used as hunger games servers? Go to mcsg.com and look around for contests. I would love to play hunger games in Kargeth for example. Huge fan of your work and of hunger games minigames, so both combined would be amazing!
