Nice laptop. Gets roughly 10.5 hours of max battery life. I'd take this over the Snapdragon X Elite laptops out currently due to better app compatibility alone. Plus, you can do some high end 1080p gaming on it.
I love that color. That color is dope.
it is
I live in a country where I was able to buy the Ultra Core 9 185h with 32gigs of DDR5x and dedicated RTX4060 gpu. This basically makes hits the sweetest spot when it comes to build quality, portability, performance, battery, display and price. Can't find anything better. Just an amazing piece of hardware.
bro how is the gpu performance and heat
@@shivaanshgupta1901 0 heat issues, no throttling very well thought cooling. Playing mostly escape from Tarkov and the game runs 60-120 fps, no issues what so ever
Yes, I also got it during sales promo. It even comes w touchscreen display, I'm using it to connect to my Xbox Elite 2 Controller to play Apex and Diablo IV w/o any heating issues. What a wonderful machine! Now waiting for Black Myth Wukong to be released soon 😅
@@GGO89I plan to get that configuration as well. How’s the battery life with the powerful GPU and core ultra 9?
@@PlatinAviation it's a lot up to you. Gaming and intense tasks on battery will drain it ultra fast. It won't reach the 2 hour mark. If you plan on doing simple tasks unplugged then you'll be fine. This includes watching RUclips. There's an app from lenovo which comes with a desktop widget which has a shortcut for a battery saving mode. If you switch that on and avoid gaming on battery you're looking at around 5-6 hours, maybe even more.
How is the touchpad? You didn't touch on that (heh).
It's nice. Nothing earth shattering, but decent. The clicks are springy so not haptic like a Mac.
@@MikeOnTrackis it as precise as macbook?
Yeah usually the glide and size of new windows laptops trackpads are just as good as macbooks, they caught up. But the click is still better on macbooks because other manufacturers don't want to use force touch.@@aristrirahmanto6743

@@aristrirahmanto6743 No. The touchpad is not the best out there however it is usable it is ''normal'. However I mostly use a mouse so it's not a big deal. The ports are amazing for a laptop released at this time.
I have the model with AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS in storm gray color and I love it. I use it for software development and streaming games via Moonlight from my desktop.
Do you hear the fans when you develop?
glad u like it!
How is battery life?
How is hinges and thermal
@@hadeskerbecs250 Hinges is really good! It is able to do one hand open and close, in addition is able to have it more than 80% closed and still not shut down the lid. The laptop is also very quiet (unless if you have performance mode on it is very noticeable)
if your vids were more genuine and upfront (not promotion backed or sponsored) your tone and vibe will be more of self-confidence & feel of responsibility towards your viewers
thank u!
What stylus pen that compatible with Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 14IRH8?

Which ThinkPad laptop would you kindly recommend? .I'm a Graphic designer, and basically looking for 3 main things in a laptop.
-Main one, eye comfort /matte screen.
-Decent performance.
-16" inch.
Because there are too many options to select on the Thinkpads, it can be rather confusing. I have some bad eyes and I think eye comfort would be the main thing for me.

Lenovo's wave of mega silent firings in early 2023 were absolutely despicable. They laid off thousands of really great people after posting record profits and bragging about moving up the Forbes list each quarter in their "All Hands" NA org sales meetings to those people that moved the needle for them. They ruined thousands of people's lives who relocated and rented or purchased new homes just to join the US sales organization during the digital boom of the pandemic and increase in business for them, forcing them to lose their homes and become homeless. Their warranty process is atrocious and considered terrible by anyone who has had to deal with service claims on top of this.
Did they? I didn't know that...
I like how they dont have YOGA logo on yours i guess they just added it to their laptop recently or something thats the only thing i dont like about it
I'm getting a pro 7 with ryzen 7 8845 HS at a decent price but with integrated graphics.. Should I go for dedicated 3050 gpu.. I have light college use.. Mostly ms suite and light editing maybe.. Should I spend extra 300 bucks for a dedicated gpu?
no; unless you are gaming.
Should be fine. If you intend on gaming, you might want to look into the Legion Slim 5 14" instead (decently portable and has a 4060)
Is it possible to switch between color spaces in Lenovo Vantage?
I also do image editing in LR and some light video editing on Davinci Resolve, is 16GB RAM enough?
I love the way you explain the video Ella
thanks for watching!
It's not "thin" compared to thin laptops
Hello. Thank you for the review. Is it possible for you to review the Yoga pro 7 ultra 7 with 4050? Thank you
I can not find the teal option anywhere! I love that color. Does anyone have a direct link? I am in Canada
Update: had to import it from Argentina
Great video Ella! What about Samsung galaxy book 4 360? Wich is better?
Stupid pricing, OLED -burnouts possible, no RTX... 16gb ram
The Yoga Pro 7, a basic laptop, but with two very powerful ideal processors, but why basic? Cos no touchscreen, so no 2 in one and or 3 in one laptop, right? Thanks, for the descriptive review of the Yoga Pro SEVEN, 🧘♀️now of to do some YOGA! 😺🥰💻💫💎💃

@@CreatedbyEllaYT ok 😊🥰🧘♀️💫💎💃
I really love Lenovo and won't buy any other brand for my laptop
Same they are so good
Omg! I was looking into getting the Pro 7, therefore doing research on it, and wished to see some more reviews as there aren’t so many. Found this channel as I'm now thinking about the MB Air, and now she posts this, so cool!
glad u found my channel!
@@CreatedbyEllaYTthanks for the reply :D
I've got the yoga slim 7 from a year ago, exactly same no big changes since then
I feel like I just watched a 7-minute ad. I understand it's sponsored content, but is there really not a single issue you'd point out?
hi dear, is the display glossy or matte?
Why US content creators think that only US customers are watching them. Please, tell us how many kg your review laptop weight. I don't know how many 3.98 lb in kg, so I have to google it. For you is just 3 more words but much more people will like your content. You also safe lots human hours.
Thank you.
Nice Video Review ella! :) how does it compare to Asus Zenbook OLED 14?

Wow, IPS! 🤮🤮🤮🤮 Where the F is the OLED?!
So many reviews on reddit that it cannot perform 4+ hrs on battery saver. What is you take on this ?
Hello Mam make a review video on OMEN TRANSCEND 14 GAMING LAPTOP...
I need a good machine for computer science I begin in September would you recommend this laptop or suggest another laptop?
Are you sure that battery life is good? I have the predecessor and the one thing I’m really disappointed with is that I typically get around 4-5hrs of battery. I predominantly use 3D modelling software on it so maybe that contributes to this but, I think the battery is just too small for the screen specs and graphics capabilities while the processor is not efficient enough for the power it needs.
Is it good for rendering and other design uses

Is the i5 13th gen version for 700 usd good?
this is my exact laptop i'm using right now just slightly different, i love it, im able to run gta 5 no problem!
You reckon fps games like Valorant and CS2 or overwatch would run decently?
How's the battery life please?
@@manonfire7675 The battery life is really good!! I'm not sure how long the battery lasts but it can absolutely last all day on low power mode and 60hz for light use
fan noise?
Please help. When I turn on the laptop the backlit is always on. Is there a way where it will be always off?

Never trusting yoga laptops again. I’ve had multiple graphic card issues and it’s amd ryzen 5
that was the graphic card fault not the laptops fault

Check out the MSI Stealth laptops, would be nice with a review of one of those.

no it can't
Still using the c940 which was one of the best in 2020, no problems whatsoever...
I did some research and this was on the list for a new laptop for my son
but I eventually opted for the Asus Zenbook with the new 14 gen Core Ultra 9, 1T ssd, 32G Ram, same size, same resolution but with 120Hz OLED and Touchscreen.
thanks for watching :)
why did you go with the zenbook please? also what's the battery life of that like? thanks
Great review, thanks.
I really like this laptop a lot! I never used a Yoga laptop myself, but this one does stand out to me the most. What I look for a laptop is the following things: comfortable keyboard, great build quality, good speakers, smooth edges, eye-candy display (not OLED due to PWM flickering. Puresight is better), beautiful aesthetics, high screen-to-body ratio, good battery life (it would be a somewhat good out of the box, but I can extend it even more). All of this to be offered for great value. £1000-1100 range with my configuration is great One thing that I noticed: for the Intel variant, you're able to equip it with 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM (and it's more expensive), but for the AMD one no option, it's only 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM (which is somewhat unacceptable).
But, I really want to know something Ella, what does it actually feel like to use this laptop? Apart from the review that mainly talks about the display, battery life test (6 hours is somewhat good given that you kept the settings at their defaults, but it could be better if you reduced the screen resolution to 1920x1200, reduced screen brightness to 50%, switch the wallpaper to solid black colour, switch to 60Hz, change to dark mode, turn off transparency and switch to the most power efficient mode. These can help prolong battery life - there are more things to tinker around to extend battery, but I'm going to keep this aspect short), performance, keyboard and how it's suitable for creative work. For example, how do the speakers sound or how does the touchpad actually feel like? How is the fan curve/noise for this laptop? Positives are great to mention, but it's worth mentioning some drawbacks as well. Like, for example: if your memory gets to almost full for 16 gig (actual usable could be in the range 14-15.9 GB - 2GB of integrated graphics may be unlikely) when doing heavy-duty work (such as: creative work, video editing) that is memory and processor intensive. The recommended, therefore is 32GB, so that you don't have to complain about having insufficient memory. Again, unacceptable for this price point. If you decide to stick with 16GB, try to do limited creative work and other memory intensive tasks, but also free up your RAM by killing other memory heavy background processes to prevent this issues - helps you save resources over the long run. Overall, I have no complaints for this laptop other than the memory limit. I'd recommend this laptop to anyone simply wanting a laptop with a strikingly perfect balance between port selection, thin and light form-factor, eye-candy display, comfortable keyboard, doesn't get overly hot during idle/light use and everything in between, for everyday use.
How many hours the battery last for daily use? Does it has single or dual fan? Cam you open the laptop with 1 hand only?
@@joydboy1382 She mentioned in the video that in her battery test, it lasted 6 hours, with default configuration - she didn't tweak any settings that helped extend battery life or changed the wallpaper or that stuff. You can stretch out to a full day, depending on how you tweak the power management settings. It depends on your use case.If you stick to light tasks while on battery, it will last you much longer compared to doing resource heavy work that chew through the battery much faster (depending on what resource heavy task it is that you're doing), like gaming (casual-gaming and NOT AAA ones), video editing/rendering or working through complex projects - could give 2-5 hours (not quite accurate numbers and only an estimate. Although, you shouldn't rely on that estimate alone. Can be different). Ideally, if you want maximum performance out of a laptop, it's always best to keep it plugged in, for any resource intensive task that makes the most out of your RAM, CPU and GPU. To answer your question, you can open the laptop with 1 hand only, as you can see the communication bar (camera with microphone array) being bumped up a little. Also, it comes with dual fan system, according to Lenovo's website. Glad it captioned it in one of their pictures! Hope this should help!

I would have bought a Lenovo Yoga years ago because it was one of the top 3 choices in the PC world, I was in fact decided and about to buy, when Apple Silicon arrived.
