    This is the most comprehensive overview of how different body types can produce more thrust and release velocity. Size, strength, power, mass, elasticity, range of motion, genetics, and mechanics all play a role in how hard anyone can throw a baseball. Don't get caught into just one "magic bullet" type of solution that will help you. Every aspect of what goes into a pitchers training, from their diet and sleep pattern, to mechanics, and everything in between play roles in helping pitchers approach their top genetic release velocity. All serious baseball pitchers should train themselves with the same dedication as wrestlers, boxers, and martial artists. Those athletes are doing what seem to be inhuman things. That's because they have trained themselves to do so. The average random person on the street doesn't know what a talented baseball pitcher is capable of doing. Remember, for anyone who never played baseball, to step into the box against a 70 mph pitcher would be a scary experience. 80 mph would seem inhuman to most people. 90 and plus is beyond the imagination of 99% of the population. You are training yourself to do what only a tiny percentage can only dream of. So, it's worth it to be the best you can be. Excellent video.

    • @TheRoadLessChosen
      @TheRoadLessChosen 2 года назад

      Lol. Never played baseball and had two experiences doing so. The first time was at age 17. Struck out. Wasn’t scared though. Next time was 35. Took a pitch from 46ft at 85 mph. Hit it to a second baseball field we had. Right at 400ft. Yes pitchers are super talented but let’s not act like everyone is scared to face a fast pitch. The again I’m or at least I was an athlete. Maybe we are talking about the random person that’s never played sports.

    Hmm isn’t technique one of the most important things? It seems like that was least talked about or not at all.... technique brings leverage and leverage is what helps the most from my experience. I would say intelligence too because intelligence is what helps you think about how you can get more leverage with certain movements of the body. Intelligence helps with not only leverage but with the physics aspect such as centripetal force. You generate more centripetal force (faster spin rate) by keeping your limbs (body parts) close to the axis of rotation.
