This gentleman is awesome, so talented but so down to earth and seems to be quite modest. But a sincere question to you Kyle, you do know that you are equally talented in bringing us a lot of joy and emotions with your videos/discoveries too, right? At the risk of sounding like a rude interloper, does your mom watch your videos and does she truly understand how you touch so many people's lives with your work, particularly your videos from Vietnam?
+Minh Nguyen she understands it to a degree but she also understands that this lifestyle is not stable. Too much time and effort and money is spent creating content like this and life on the road without stability is too risky for her. This is why she worries and also why I worry and am in the process of transitioning and changing .
Kyle, to fund your channel, create 5 soveniors and action them off on your channel. A unique, one of the kind, 3d painting related to Kylele.net would action off quite well.
+SeattleVietnam5000 videos are not live. They were filmed and edited later on. Im no longer in vn. That was just a visit during the summer to film a documentary and everything u watch now is just a bonus from that doc.
iMAClikeDRE did you watch the video? Ly clearly cited that he got the idea from watching Riusuke's video and gave credit to him. Ly never claimed that the fish artwork was invented and created by himself. Therefore it's not plagiarizing but he's using Riusuke' s art as inspiration. He's using the same technique but makes different pieces. If you wrote an essay but cited a quote from a book as a source this isn't plagiarism you know, this situation is the same concept.
so if somebody doesn't claim they invented star wars but makes a movie using the same idea, aesthetics features, concept, and characters and sells it for money with their name on it, its ok? there wouldn't be a lawsuit? this video is great and this guy is great, he should sell it and make money, i understand its hard making money especially for the people of vietnam .. but a RIP IS A RIP.
I see your point, but I wouldn't call it ripping off. If you look at art throughout the world including oil paintings, modern art, cubism, portrait art to even origami to jazz music to reggae to pottery to photography, artists follow and utilize a style. Could you claim that every opera style singer ripped off the original guy? Or how about every tattoo artists who specializes in Japanese koi tattoos? Now, if he was claiming he owned it or made exact replicas of Fukahori's works and sold it, then yes that would be a copyright issue, but this is just borrowing, learning from, and expanding on the resin style. I bet Fukahori doesn't do Vietnamese style Mekong delta toilets...

this guy ripped off of riusuke fukahori art. plagiarizing isn't cool.

iMAClikeDRE He said loud and clear in the video that Fukahori's work had inspired his art creation since 2006. What's wrong with you?
