my husband brought two of them one in box the other painted in the ROTS clone scout trooper! (yes my husband always wished the scout troopers and regular stormtroopers were in woodland camo color)
Wanted a scout helmet since i was a kid and finally picked this up yesterday, and i adore it. It's definitely the favorite of my collection. The single issue i have with it is that the chin strap is very, very annoying and pops off constantly, so it either ends up being too loose or just falling off entirely. Otherwise, an absolutely amazing helmet.

They released it earlier in different parts of the world for some reason. And not sure about you guys, but it was not available for early pre-order here, like most of the helmets are.
6:16 I mean its not like they ever flipped up the front half of the helmet anyway on screen during ROTJ, so Im not sure why you made such a big deal of pointing this out. I didnt even know these helmets could do that until i started watching black series helmet reviews.
I feel like the only reason Hasbro adds the 'voice changer' feature, is because they're extremely cheap to put in, and allows them to add a crazy markup on sale. I don't see the point of them either beyond that; so now I wait for sales. $300AUD for a Helmet barely worth $100 is not a good deal ha ha (Got the helmet in your video for $140AUD on Amazon with prime day; came here to get a better look before it shows up - so thanks for the informative video)
the voice changer is unnecessary too in my opinion, but i guess in the end these are still toys or cosplay items, and not collectibles like EFX and others
you're lucky, putting mine on nearly takes my ears off !! It's a great helmet though, up there with Boba Fetts TESB one. For me the Black series are more for display, for wearable ones I'll have to get a 3D printer.
I never understood why they designed such a stupid helmet. It doesn’t make sense at all for a fast bike. Can’t see anything but forwards & the wind would break your neck in that stupid bucket visor 😂
My thoughts exactly, but I think it was intended to be comical looking. From a comical perspective I think the helmet is really awesome. I’ve been seriously thinking about buying one, but my collection is starting to take over my entire house.

maybe a little smaller, the dome for the vader is pretty big. But I wouldn't say the box is much smaller.

The electronics isnt needed because it is useless.. and it would save the helmet from the malplaced batteri pack.

The vision is actually phenomenal in this helmet, reduces peripheral vision a little more than some goggles or motorcycle helmets
If you dont like it then why where it while riding a bike it's a collector's item not for motorcycle drivers learn your helmets better
