HP is wrost in their laptops special low range and mid ranger
My HP Folio 13 had the same issue. All I did was replace the fan and then I got the caps lock 3 flashes. Looked up the flash codes and it said it was a RAM issue. Bought new RAM and still got 3 flashing lights on the caps lock. Your video saved me. Excellent diagnostics. Thank you.
Thank you thank you! I did not have quite the same codes...just 3 slow flashes...but this helped me figure out the mouse pad was my issue!! Thank you so much! Now I just need to clean the contacts between the ribbon and board! Awesome!!
Normally don't leave comments, but thanks to your video i was able to solve the "caps lock blinking" issue. Mine ended up being dirty terminals coming from the touchpad!

My HP Folio 13 has the same issue. HP should get their codes right. There documentation says 3 flashes is a RAM issue yet apparently its also a fried touch pad issue. Hope HP do better in future as I bought RAM for nothing thanks to them and now I am up for a new touch pad. I may try to repair the old touch pad but easier to get a new for now. Hello, could you please help? Mine stopped turning on just like this one, so I unplugged the mouse pad and it started up once or twice. Now I can't get it to turn on and it is doing the same thing. Do I have to have a mouse pad connected for it to work or something? I cannot figure this out...

Hi, my laptop did not turn on when I disconnected the hard drive, can u reply to this comment helping me?
The laptop should turn on, but it will not load the Operating System because the O.S. it's stored on the hard drive.
My Repair Videos oh, I solved my issue, I took out the hard drive, battery (internal), and ram stick, blew out the dust and firmly put them back in, then I did windows key+b+power button (2-3 seconds) and it redownloaded my bios and stuff.
