    I like how everyone, including the devs, have forgotten about the disaster twins rework already and are moving on to other characters.

      It wasnt a disaster... in the end it was an overall buff and sadly then have never cared for twins so its all we are ever getting

    I'll definitely use Empathic + Botany for the 80 % healing speed, which turns out to be 8.8 seconds. Only 0.8 seconds slower than We'll make it, but it's permanently active.

    the way i yelled “THANK GOD” at hux’s first change bc omg trying to control the biopods on console is so disorienting. the aim sensitivity is not optimized for controller at all lmao.
    also i’m all for the resurgence buff because honestly any anti-tunnel perk that’s not just otr/ds is good. much in the same way we’ll make it is a good anti-tunnel perk for your teammates.

    I both feel like autoaim is both good and not much at the same time because i flicked to survivors fast anyway, but doing so for long periods of time made my brain itch in unpleasent way, especially when you have them on trees and you can't see shit because of leaves or just staring at some strange place that makes you disoriented for a bit not knowing if you have to flick right or left or up or down, so i hope this change will make him enjoyable but not autopilot.

    As one of the five existing Knight mains in DBD (fight me lol), I'm glad they're trying something new with him. From what I understand, BHVR wants this character to be a sort of "ranged killer" with the goal of using guards to apply pressure more effectively, moving away from the style of "dropping a guard at a loop," which is a good thing in my opinion. The ability to choose guards is really good as well. I wish he could also recall a minion like Charlotte can do with Victor, but overall, this is a healthier direction. Oh i forgot to mention.... IRON WILL IS BACK BABYYYY🗣️🗣️

    Personally, I think Resurgence shouldn't be impacted by hemorrhage until someone starts a healing action on you.

    Im excited for the machine learning buff. Its fun on myers with coupe. When you get used to controlling which gens pop you can easily average 3 uses of machine learning.

    Ohtofu.. they are most likely adding the aim assist stuff to singularity specifically for controller players because he can feel borderline impossible on joysticks. I honestly don’t think it will affect mouse and key much but improve the overall playability for console gamers.

    I dunno if you'll mention it, but the overclock change for Hux isn't actually an increase, since you HAD to have one person slipstreamed to teleport, thus increasing it to the 5.7. If they are getting rid of the scaling (which I liked) at least buff it to something like 7.

      No yeah I decided to test it out because I felt like even when I had one person slip streamed it felt like 5 seconds and low and behold yep that was a straight up nerf to his base kit. Overclock increases in time by 1 second per gooped up survivor so it's "base" is 4.7 but because you need someone slip streamed to activate overclock mode it automatically brought it up to 5.7. Now if the overclock increase mechanic stayed then this would have been a buff because now with one survivor gooped up your overclock would last 6.7 but they're just making it to where his shortest overclock duration is what you will get forever and always.

      I wouldn’t want over clock to always be that long. If you mess up and have to wait longer before teleporting or accessing a bipod again, it can waste a lot of time

      I believe it's good that they nerfed that part of his kit considering he now has 3% haste at base during Overclock. 7 seconds of overclock with 3% haste would be way too much.

    Another point about resurgence, in a way it is NOT anti-heal because the killer may feel pressured to attack them again specifically because they have so much heal progress. Under certain game conditions it could induce tunneling, if somehow the killer knew you had it of course.

    Ok hear me out... Use Demo, Pop, and Dragons Grip. Pop the gen, activate Dragons Grip, use a portal to teleport from the gen to another portal you have like 10 meters away, survivor touches gen and becomes exposed while you're walking back undetectable, down the survivor. Maybe make this even better with Red Moss or Leprose addons

      Demo doesnt do it any better than literally any other killer with undetectable or a perk to become undetectable like trail of torment

      @danielorlovaquinn yes he does. With portals it makes it look like he is leaving, and makes it really believeable. With my over 1000 hours using demo, I've gotten plenty of downs and hits this way

      ⁠okay mr 1000 hours with demo, let me ask you this. What perk hides the sound of demos clown shoes slapping the floor every-time he moves? Cause that shit is so loud I don’t care how undetectable you are, or how oblivious I am, I can hear his oatmeal feet from a mile away. Demo is the worst killer for any stealth maneuver.

      @envy7455 doesn't matter. Survivor is focusing more on getting back on the gen, then the fact that they're exposed. To respond though, it does suck that demo's footsteps are so loud, and it should be changed. However, it doesn't mean his stealth is bad. It's still good, just not as good as other killers

    10:18 while automatic printing is 1% per second last i checked manual printing is 4x that speed so it's actually 0.75 seconds

    Now you can get value out of resurgence if you have a base medkit. When your distortion teammate unhooks you and runs off and hides, you can now ensure that you can top yourself off with a med kit before the killer comes back to hook to tunnel you, because distortion gamers don't do chases.

    6:55 AGREED! I think it rewards Singularity for spreading Slipstream and keeping pressure up mapwide, and it punishes survivors for failing to cleanse with harder chases.
    Other than that tho, W changes.

    It was confirmed on the forums that Knight can still break pallets point-blank, so its just going to be constant Carnifex. And you don't have to be as far away from stuff to go into your power.

    I don't think oppression really needs a cooldown at all. To use it within the cooldown, a survivor would have to get back on it in your face, or you'd have to run over to another gen survivors were working on. Apart from high-mobility killers, it's unlikely removing the cooldown would have any effect, and for those it would work to the disadvantage of the killer to use their mobility to get to a survivor and not chase them.

    As an awful low hour player. I just want hooks to be highlighted red at all times regardless of distance or line of sight while carrying survivors. I can never find the nearest hook when i pick up because of this, and people get free wiggles from me all the time :(
    Just to even see a hook in the middle of my screen i try to find like leaves or walls so i can make sure its actually a hook and not just a lamp post or something.

      Same opinion here. I think they need to give more rewards for the knight himself. He gets haste but I feel like the knight himself needs more incentive in personal rewards.

    4:24 the first singularity "buff" sucks because before you can lure someone into a clearing before targeting them so they don't have time to hide behind a wall to obscure your line of sight, but if you auto targets whenever someone comes into frame they will just duck out of frame and your slipstream gets interrupted

      @@APopptart How would you know if they are in an optimal slipstream area without looking through your camera though? Switching cameras to "bait" sounds like depending on your luck to have the survivor walk to an optimal spot that you want to start slipstreaming, because it would be pointless to switch to another pod that has visual on your target because the other pod also auto targets. To do this would mean to totally loose visuals on the survivor you want to slipstream for a few seconds which could be crucial.

    Before this buff, I run solidarity, autodidact, empathic, and deadline. And if I do it right, I can heal a survivor in 6 seconds. And I'll have 50 percent health. Now, I should be able to get a heal in 4 seconds and 70 percent heath for myself 😮

    Regarding the hook respawn part. Maybe it should cleanse it of being a scourge hook to prevent things like annoy 3 gens that have a scourge hook in it?
    But idk.

    I feel like the changes to the hooks makes the basement hooks a bit less unique since one of the major benefits of hooking and killing a survivor in basement was that the hooks would not dissappear which was why you would rather go there when hooking a survivor on death. I don't know if that is a thing already but I think that they should make it more rewarding to hook survivors in basement by making a base kit change to them such as the hooks killing survivors just a little bit faster (I am aware that such a change could lead to basement camping but in this state the basement doesn't have anything to offer other then basement camping anyways)

      what the basement offers is a time slow down for the survivors.
      basements a terrible mechanic. that only supports camping and tunneling its outdated as hell

      Basement is actually really good, your spending more time to hook in the basement but at the same time it's alot more dangerous for survivors to unhook and escape. Surv should loop away from the basement

    Even if Resurgence cleared status effects after being hooked killers could still run Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain to counter it so it really wouldn't make a huge difference. Also, With Boon: Dark Theory for 20 seconds you can outrun a Chag (It still won't get used)

      i'll doubt they switch another perk just to bring gift of pain in case people bring resurgence....and if it really becomes that absolutely necessary then resurgence would get nerfed, or at least one would hope so.

    devs so out of touch they added haste to basekit of singularity
    13:50 acting like the anti camp mechanic works at all. is funny as hell. killers can literally stand right on you. and you'll only get anti camp after you hit second state

      It's anti face camp not anti camp and second if you have team mates nearby it slows diwn/stops
      Edit: singularity is heavily addon dependant and the haste makes him much less addon dependant so they are actually doing a good job

      He gets slowed down due to power then sped up to make up for it

      Technically, it's getting a nerf. In just that combo. Because of the -25% on skill check 1, you can actually fully heal yourself with 5 autodidact charges. I don't think with 70 it will change it because you probably won't lose 35 percent healing progress more than likely. But add deadline and it eats.

      @@N3ff-mike deadline doesn't work when your healthy. 70% conversion is buff. you can "over-heal" with autodidact and it will convert 70% of over-healing. So in practice, if your lucky enough to get skill-check at 3/4 healing with 5 stacks.

      @dodang_9147 ok. But the skill checks apply to all skill checks when injured. Which paid nicely with autodidact because you need several tokens to get value from it. So deadline will help you get those, plus you'll get solidarity value. That's all I'm saying.

      ​@zoteri big nerf, survivors can just camp pallets. If you drop the guard they just run away while you have to make a 10 meter path just to get back to knight.

    Jailer's always been better cause he can camp a gen/hook for way longer than carnifex and now he will chase longer too

      But carnifex would break pallets instantly and also chased for 24 second, jailer only chased for 12. also camping a hook with a guard is literally useless, the guard deactivates as soon as you touch the hooked survivor

      @@envy7455 Not always, a lot of people still don't know that and get chased away from hook or are injured and get scared and run away when the jailor notice them. Just in the games yesterday I got a bunch of people who got chased away by the jailor while he is patrolling the basement(for funny monster shrine build). And for 3 gens you'd rather keep a gen occupied longer than have carnifex chase longer imo.

      @justnodl6493 dude I'm just saying solo queue needs something. I don't praise Killers nerfs, the only nerf I was asking for was old old Hex:Ruin. That shit was awful, all the other nerfs were unnecessary. Even the Undying and Ruin combo. I do play Killer btw

    can this game please stop removing the skill from killers. Stop making it accessible for new players to instantly do well. Makes learning killers less rewarding. Every single update a killer is now easier, ridiculous...

      Hux's abilities are very frustrating to use and don't give a lot of value for the amount of setup you would have to deal with. This update for Hux makes it much better for everyone playing and makes them far less reliant on certain add-ons and gives hux players the ability to experiment.
      Knight is also in the same situation as well, while making them have the ability to change between the various characters is a significant buff, this also allows knight players to have more agency and, if anything, increases the skill expression for the character overall. The add-on integrations as well lets knight players experiment even different add-ons and makes them less reliant on the same ones every game.

      The singularity overheat already existed when he get hit by a pallet hes stunned and hindered . Now if hes stunned by blast mine , head on ect he get hindered . That's the overheat.
