      Cheers buddy. Apparently my family line is viking 🤷🏼‍♂️ went Axe throwing for the first time a year ago and even the guy there said I must have viking blood, hit the centre target nearly every time 🤣 I'm in the wrong era 👍

    I always book a site when hot tenting as I prefer the security of it. Plus lugging stuff in is easier. Where I go is a secluded woodland site so really good getting the stove on and chilling for a day or two. The whislux does look good as does the hot tent. Always find however the room disappears quickly once you're set up. Great video!

      @NoviceWildCamper  3 месяца назад +3

      Cheers Phil. Yeah it's amazing how much space the stove alone takes up in that tent just because of the heat around it you can't use. Plus all the wood etc. Loved it though. Got a pomoly set up to try next. Stove is almost identical to this one so be good to compare 👍

    Nice first outing in the hot tent! Bring a friend or two to split the weight of everything and you can go wild camping.

    • @NoviceWildCamper
      @NoviceWildCamper  3 месяца назад +2

      Hopefully next time. But also it may be lighter and the wood will be on site to cut up so a saw wil be better than carrying a bag of wood and kindling 🤣👍

      @fuffydingo 3 месяца назад +1

      @@NoviceWildCamper yes it's always better to gather the wood from around the campsite.

    Nice tent. Maybe for bike camping. I love the idea of being able to stand up.

    • @NoviceWildCamper
      @NoviceWildCamper  3 месяца назад +1

      You'd struggle to carry this full set up but I got the tent and pole in my pack so could have carried to stove in one hand walking a fair distance. Only thing you couldn't have carried would be the cot bed and wood but if you can find wood at camp to process then you'd be good 👍

      @@NoviceWildCamper You can get a fair amount on a bike. I've carried 20kg on my Brompton so could probably do the tent but not the stove. I also camp on an ECargo bike which can take a fair amount. My husband says I have enough tents however 😀

    Hi. Washington state here. Was living on the mountain. Typical evening night. Coyotes started howling in all directions as usual, when all the sudden a horrific roar came from the thick trees. Super loud. Those coyotes went immediately silent. I believe those coyotes woke or disturbed something very large in those trees and whatever it was, it wasn't having it! You have to ask yourself what is so large and mean that it shuts up all coyotes for miles???? Stay safe bud!

    Your tent set up inside looked very neat and cozy
    A wood stove is nice on a cold night. 50c is spicy hot!
    Just curious if you train people as you have a nice ,calm and informative way of describing your new gear.
    You make it interesting
    Well done video and looking forward to your next adventure 🇨🇦❤️

    That sort of size is why I like my dd xl ul in the tipi configuration that this tent is very obviously part of its inspiration. Standing up makes all the difference when it's the 6th or 7th day of rain in a row.

      Thanks buddy. In all honesty that's what I've done in the past and generally the reviews do very poorly and I don't want to just bang out two videos from the same camp on the same channel hence the poll. Hopefully going forward once I've finished with the reviews I've already agreed to on this channel it will work itself out. Atb 👍
