I'm currently in my 2p version of the Naturehike Massif, it's raining hard but I'm dry and warm. I'm using a Winnerwell Nomad stove and it has kept me comfortable. I set it up on Friday before the rain started. I was expecting storms and wanted to test the tent in them. I booked a Hipcamp site directly in the path of the April 8 2024 solar eclipse and am going to use this setup there. Thanks for the camping video!
Sounds like a great set up. Good luck on the eclipse. Hope it’s a clear day for you
The trick with a wood stove is right before you got to bed you put a piece of wood in the stove thats about as big as you can fit in it and preferably hard wood then have another big piece of wood ready should burn 3 to 4 hours if you have the flue set right
Thank you. I will definitely that
Why would there be a huge gap at the front of the tent, it seems to have a skirt in all the images I see online.
I believe it is to make sure you have enough fresh air for the stove and the people inside.
Does the sleeping area have enough room for two cots?
It can fit 2 bed matts no problem but that area itself it would be a tight fit for 2 cots. How ever, that section is removable and if you check out my channel I do have a video of my buddy and I using 2 cots in the tent itself.
👍That is a pretty nice set up, I just think it would be tough (for me lol) getting up every few hours to stoke the fire. Hope you have a great trip next weekend. Take Care my Friend!
Thank you. And as long as I have the good sleeping bag I am ok to let the fire go out and start it up first thing when I wake up.
I appreciate you checking it out. Cheers !
Great video! Can I ask if you've had the chance to test it out in a good rain yet? Wondering if there were any leaks or anything...
Thank you. I appreciate you checking it out.
I have had it out in some good rain. Like most tents as long as you keep everything away from the walls it stays prerltty dry inside.
Cheers !
@@gittngo Great thanks for the info!
Anytime.
Mate. Great video.
Thank you. I appreciate you checking it out. Cheers !
Whata the name of the tent
Naturehike massif. There’s a link in the description of the video that should give you all the details.
The mesh will cover the gap in the front
Great video! Really enjoyed it! The setup looks super cozy. We still haven't decided what we are sleeping in lol.
We would rather the truck but coming prepared for both. Lol. I’d say most comfortable and best way to warm up. Looking like it’s going to be pretty chilly up there at night.
Great Set Up and video! Thanks for sharing…I ordered this tent and can’t wait to get it and get out there. Definitely learning from you, didn’t think about bugs so will have to remember that. Take care and Hope to see another video from you soon.
Thank you for watching the video. I am trying to find a date now to get back out in it. We haven’t had any snow yet but I think it’s going to hold up pretty well.
Good luck with your tent. Let me know what you think of it when it comes in.
Take care. Cheers !
Would the stove melt the nylon wall if it got too close?
Absolutely. That’s why you make sure all your tie downs are tight lol
Would you be able to fit a cot in the sleeping quarters?
@Lord_Crofts yep I did a video of 2 of us on cots in there
Good ❤️ ✌️
Thank you
Great filming bud, this was enjoyable presentation!
Thank you. I am still pretty new and learning with each video I make.
I appreciate you watching.
Cheers !
I have the same stove and use a baking sheet under the stove to protect the grass etc from heat. They do make fabric heat shields also. 👍
That’s a great idea. I have a fabric heat mat for the hot tent stove. I may try that out.
cool vid 🙂
what kinda cam are u using?
did the tent come w/a floor?
Thank you.
I just use my phone which is a Samsung s22 and a GoPro 10.
The tent itself comes with the removable netted section for sleeping which has a floor but the other half of the tent has no floor. The inner mesh can be removed and easily fit 2 cots if needed.
Great video! I’ve got this tent on my watchlist to try out in these Vermont winters and this video just might be the nudge I needed!
It was just blow freezing when I did the video. We will be getting some snow and colder weather here soon so that’s when I’ll be able to give a good review on it.
Thanks for watching.
Nice video and love your setup, you have a new Sub, have to buy a tent like your for my channel 👍
Thanks I appreciate you checking it out. I’ll return the favor and check out your channel later on today when I get a chance.
Cheers !
@@gittngo Thank you from Malta 🇲🇹 Europe 🇪🇺

Thanks for the video! This hot tent looks so cozy!
Thanks for checking it out. I think I’m going to try and get 2 Cots in it this weekend. Might be an adventure in itself lol. Cheers !
Heck yeah!!Beautiful set up!❤❤
Thank you.
If you don't mind me asking how tall is the exhaust to the wood stove ?
It is 8 feet in length.
@@gittngo thank you !!
💪💪💪💪👍👍👍👍👍👍
I was actually going to get this tent, then the price went up from 299 to 499 on amazon. :(
Really. Is that Canadian funds or US funds ? We paid $420 Canadian for it last week.
USA@@gittngo
I saw the same a couple of days ago but when I did a fresh search today it was back down to $299
@@miasmom1230 I did see that and of course I ordered a different hot tent already lol! All well I will get this one down the road one day.
Nice set up
Thank you. I think I’ll get a lot of use out it this season
it does not look that big but it is big! That is what she said! lol
It’s not the size but how you use it lol.
It will fit 2 of us snug that’s for sure
