I don't need the big wheels but I would like pneumatic tires as during the winter I night fish from a long wooden dock that has a light at the end. Hard plastic on the dock makes a lot of noise. Carrying rods, chair, tackle box, net, etc was very difficult until now. GGGRRRREEEAAATTT hack. Thanks again

I am leaving the hitch bar on so that i can trnsport from my travel trailer bumper. I like your handles that is what i am working on next. Perfect I'm making one. What is the hole diameter of the tires and what size conduit fits the tire hole.....axle hole that is?

    • @zekeshandles
      @zekeshandles  9 месяцев назад

      The axle holes in my wheels are 1” so I used 3/4” conduit. You will need to verify that when you purchase tires, some may be different. Good luck!

    I am SOOOOOO interested!! Please make a DIY video on how you made this amazing contraption! Would you say it’s less expensive then just purchasing a Fishing Mate? I’ve seen ppl make them from PVC pipe as well. Thank you in advance! Great job!

      Thanks! I think it was right around $250 to build. It was important for me to have one that would go in the hitch. I’ll try to get another video of it up shortly.

    THis is an awesome build! Exactly what I was looking to do, can you show a bit about how you built your handle, and how it fastens in and pops out and back in? your handle looks much better than most that I have seen ,and im struggling to figure out how to build the handle.
    I havent purchased the balloon tires yet, I bought some cheap harbor freight ones, hoping they will be sufficient for this trip to FL, but I see another comment that they are terrible.

      @zekeshandles  2 года назад +1

      Hey Shawn, thanks!! I will try to film some of the handle construction more closely for you, it did take me a couple tries to figure out. It is nice the handle pops out easy and I can throw in cart. Yeah the tires are pretty key, wish they were cheaper! Good luck

    Not bad not over done on rod holders,add couple of spikes front and back so it dont roll off if using for live rod holder

    • @zekeshandles
      @zekeshandles  2 года назад

      Thanks! If you have a bit of weight in cart (tackle gear etc) it actually digs into the sand pretty good when fish hits! But some spikes would be added security for sure!

    • @zekeshandles
      @zekeshandles  2 года назад +1

      Hey thanks! I did put a parts list in descriptions but will try to add prices next time I do a build. I believe it cost me around $250. I was able to get those (unbranded) wheels used on eBay but there are some decent options on Amazon.

      Awesome I can try to put up another video with a bit more build detail soon, unfortunately the beach footage was auto deleted. I do like this size and think they are likely a bit better going through rough areas like truck ruts but I’m sure the slightly smaller ones would work great too. Getting the air pressure right made a big difference, I actually went too low at first. The air pressure just needs to be adjusted for the load.
