    Great build and excellent instructions. Really appreciate zooming in on bit sizes. Also GREATLY appreciate the absence of overly dramatic dialog and stupidly intense music. I just want to see the build, which is exactly what you did. I’m doing the same thing but with a longer handle tongue and yokes so I can haul my kayak. Again, many thanks.

    Nice! And thank you for your example! Been wanting to build my own, and already had a general idea of what to use, but there’s nothing like seeing the work being done with my own eyes instead of in my imagination 😂

    Love this build and think I'm gonna give it a go! Love that you included the parts list too since you didn't narrate as you went along. Curious what the oval holes in all the conduit is for? Thank you very much for posting them too!

      @@Rit077 thanks! You should definitely build one! So the holes were “weight reduction” aka my first attempt at a handle didn’t work out hahaha you don’t need those ones. Good luck!

      @@zekeshandles Sorry to bother you again, what are the sizes of the pieces used on the upper portion of the handle?

    • @zekeshandles
      @zekeshandles  2 года назад

      I used the leftovers from the 1” axle. I made the top horizontal piece about 15in, it is a bit narrower than the base so it sits easily in cart when removed. The middle sections are about 17” and bottoms are about 10”. This size seems to fit me well (I’m about 6’ tall)

    also you noted that the tires are 13" but the link brings me to 16" at amazon. Thinking that doesn't really matter, correct?

    Quick question: what's the thickness of the upper and lower aluminum horizontal members? Planning to though bolt a section of 1 1/4" pvc for a handle mount. I'll order the rack and Benjamin wheels soon!

      @@joehartley6433 good morning Joe, just went out and measured for you. The top rail is 7/8” and the bottom is 1 1/8” thick. Hope that helps! Good luck

    Can you still transport it using the hitch mount?

      @zekeshandles  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes! Just remove wheels and inner axle then mount back into receiver. I hauled a full cooler and other gear 12 hrs a few times.

    Looks great, but it’s confusing about the tire sizes. Your link shows tires that fit 22 mm diameters. Your galvanized 3/4 conduit is OD 23.42 mm… correct me if I am wrong but the tires won’t fit.

    • @zekeshandles
      @zekeshandles  8 месяцев назад

      3/4” is about 19mm so those should still work okay but definitely verify before purchase. You may also be able to find some inexpensive used ones on eBay. Thanks for checking out the video!

    Does the 1inch handle feel sturdy enough?. I was thinking of making it 1.5 inch thick but not sure if its necessary. Or would you just opt for an aluminum handle if you were to build it again? Appreciate all the info.

    • @zekeshandles
      @zekeshandles  10 месяцев назад +1

      I would do the handle the same. It works fine as long as the cart is loaded which most weight over the wheels. It just needs to be long enough to avoid running into your heels when walking. That may be a consideration.

    What keepsthe tires from rubbing on the frame ?

    • @zekeshandles
      @zekeshandles  Год назад

      The 1” pvc mounted to the bottom is the same diameter as the hole in the wheel, the 3/4” axle shaft rides free through both. The 1” pvc mounted to bottom is what contacts the wheel and can be made as wide as needed. Hope that helps!

    Your parts list says schedule 40? Isn't the gray pipe your using schedule 80?

    • @zekeshandles
      @zekeshandles  Год назад +1

      The gray pipe I used is still schedule 40 although it is made in 40 and 80. I believe it is gray simply to show that it is for electric. Thanks for checking out the video!

    How much for one with 4 wheels

    • @zekeshandles
      @zekeshandles  2 года назад +1

      4 wheel cart would work great, it would be a tank! I believe you can get a set of wheels for 100 so I would think it would be possible to do the entire build for 300-350.
