I plan on using the car rack. Except I’ll keep hitch on and make is slide. This way I can still hitch it to vehicle. I’m also going with double axle mounted inside not under cart. That way when I have it hitched. The tires will be higher off the ground.
Would a pair of wye connectors with a pipe spanning between the vertical and horizontal handle members strengthen the assembly? On a 45 degree connect. Just think in’
it was very heavy and stuck far out. if you have limited space in your vehicle then 100% leave the hitch on and transport it using that. thanks for watching!
Nice build for a basic DIY cart. I fish in areas with rough ground but no beach sand, so the large diameter wheels will work well for my uses.
Great build with one exception: your wheels. Your cart will work fine for pier and jetties, but wider tires would make it more all-terrain.
Needed this! Just going to leave the connection on for transport. Thank you!
thanks, im glad the video was useful!
I plan on doing the exact same thing down the road.
I just want say you have same idea and your cart is bad ass I love it.
thanks for watching!

What brand cargo carrier did you buy??
These are sold at Harbor Freight Tools. Around $110 Dec. 2023 in the Western US.
I don't understand why the axle isn't more to the center so that the weight is on the wheels and not on your arm ?
my old one was like that, when ever i removed the weight from the front it would tip backwards, it was super annoying.
Why take the hitch mount off?

Works just fine....On a HARD surface..... in the sand???
i would use different tires in the sand. where i fish off the beach i can just drive my truck to the spot. this is for pier, bridge and trail use
