All-in Tesla stock,
Matt
FSD can do things better than we can. No matter how good you are. I was looking over my shoulder to merge on to the highway, when a person crossed the median and was going to hit me head on. After I swerved, he missed me by about an inch. He never swerved or slowed. FSD is not blind to any side when looking the other way. I am glad you have not experienced that but it is still true.
My son and I went for a test drive today in Clermont Fl. The FSD was amazing! Heavy traffic and even made a perfect U-turn. There was a crowded showroom of people looking and picking up their new cars.
Everyone was all smiles. We are excited to be holding our Tesla stock. With no interventions I am more excited than ever.
Keep supporting!
Every man considers themselves an S tier driver.
What ever that is.
Regardless of the current state of FSD. How crazy cool is it that we're even debating whether it's better than humans or not🤗🤟🏼
I thought you were getting really excited, then realized I have you on 1.25 speed.
FSD never daydreams or gets distracted by anything.
True. But it has another enormous advantage, to my thinking. Say I'm making a left-hand turn at a stop sign, and cross traffic is coming at me from both my left and my right. I have to keep looking back and forth, left and right. Every time I look left, the situation on my right changes a bit while my attention is elsewhere. When I check right, the situation to my left changes while it's out of view.
Not so with FSD. It can monitor all six or eight (or however many it is) cameras in the car simultaneously.
I started using v12.3.3 in Montreal and it was able to do insanely well. It can for exemple drive correctly at the exit of the Victoria bridge in St-Lambert, something that was impossible for v11 and even not always obvious for a human driver.
Matt, I’m from Vancouver Island got a model S down here in Palm Springs for the winter got FSD today. Drove back-and-forth to the airport four times no interventions of 15 minutes each way lots of traffic I’m sold on fsd
As a very educated person I say no matter what you do in life you either have it or you don't. Fsd has it. Waymo and ALL others don't. Keep this in mind when you hear about the different levels of autonomous.
I would expect Tesla sales to increase as younger drivers increase their incomes. They have a higher preference for EV’s. So even without any new models, I expect greater sales as the demographic changes.
True, from those I talked to.
At 6:15 that's a very beautiful chart
There is at least one thing FSD does better than you (and any human)--it looks forward, right, and left at the same time.
Also behind
Keep pumping.
By the way, I mourned the loss of Tesla daily. But I found your program and I’m really impressed. You filled a lot of the void that that program left Dylan but he just goes off on a tangent on other things so often but keep doing the good work.
matt i agree.. there are a few instances....
Wanted to be the first to comment…. I hope TSLA bears continue to drive the narrative, and the price stay’s low. I don’t think Wall St will recognize FSD income until there’s a material change to the revenue statement. I did a video on my case for Tesla to hit $8 Trillion on my channel 😊
Thanks!
Seeing Cybertrucks all over in San Diego
I agree with Dylan but it's pretty awesome . Some things I notice not as smooth in turns tend to stick it's nose out and turns slowly then
accelerates hard where I would be accelerating smoothly through the whole turn. Stops for stuff that is way far away. Tried to park next
to a Red painted curb. It Tried to go up the side once and had to stop it as it was in the turning lane. Is later to take exits in some cases
than I would be. Changes lanes for reason's I cannot figure out with no upcoming turns. Is there anyway to make it turn into my driveway and park there ? Bumper to Bumper traffic even with just Auto Follow is very awesome, and a big stress reliever.
I am decidedly _not_ a tier S driver. Several passengers (parents and a friend) have commented on how much FSD 12.3 drives better (smoother) than me…
How can there be no increase in sales this year with the new M3 and the CT?
Just remember during polls taken over the years, 95% of those asked felt they were above average drivers. Not possible.
12.3.6 is amazing.
"Better" usually means "more familiar to me." Something to think about.
When everyone follows the rules, the most intelligent among us benefit the most. We should be upset at the one vehicle that disobeys traffic laws rather than the one vehicle that obeys them.
I have seen 3 loads of Tesla's cybertrucks i5 North bound in last 2 weeks
Despite having the most potential for solar, Africa will almost certainly be the last region to adopt EVs…it’s more about reaching a level of infrastructure imo. That’s why Asia is jumping ahead in EVs because it’s clear their infrastructure is very functional
more research required on your part.
@@rogerstarkey5390 have you been to Africa?
Looks like a perfect market for the Chinese.
@@rogerstarkey5390 Much more, how about the adaption of cell phones?
@@MathGPT I have not been to Africa, Africa came to me. I disagree that Africa will be slow to accept EV's. Just think of the price of gas there. Say $1.90 a liter. About $5.77 a gal. The Cyber truck would work.
Re FSD pricing: the Amazon Prime pricing is interesting. Low initial price and as more and more people began to rely on it they raised the price over and over. Amazon did this even though they removed benefits. Not sure if this is a good model for Tesla though. One difference is that the Tesla model would get better and better vs. the declining Amazon benefit model.
the current constraint is data thats why tesla gave free trial of fsd for more data to have enough data for edge cases for the robotaxi coming in 2025
v12 seems a bit too close to curbs than v11.
Yeah, that's one thing I'm nervous about as I gear up to take delivery of my new M3 with FSD in a couple weeks... curb rash.
@@thestonksmarket1897 It's getting better in my experience. Just watch it on close right hand turns and don't let the steering wheel turn past the point where you're uncomfortable. It will disengage and prompt you for a voice message. Push the right scroll wheel and say something like "too close to the curb on a right hand turn". Simple.
Calibration.
Why are Tesla models overseas getting way more range than U.S.?
The FSD fear needs to end. FSD means safety, reduced accidents, injury and death. The narrative should switch to why would you want to drive these dangerous vehicles without FSD. We should be wondering why one prefers crashes injury death? Once FSD incorporates knowing where all vehicles are located and where traveling in the instant, I forsee injury death and crashes reduced to nearly zero. Now to bring up insurance cost savings.
LOL I think Dillon needs to ask others what they think of his driving ability he might be surprised. I am betting 12.3.4 is way better than him
Yep, people can be a bit arrogant at times. Watching drivers around here I'd say that many of them are worse than the current FSD.
Have you got 12.3.4? Have you got any FSD version?
Dillon cracks me up
@@iainmrodgers9991 I've been using FSD 12.3.3, anxiously waiting for 12.3.4.
@@iainmrodgers9991 12.3.3
what about phone calls and texting
New to FSD and just started using it with the free trial. It is amazing for what it does. However, it is not a better driver than me and several of the people I know. I will admit that in my area there are a large number of people where FSD exhibits much better driving behavior than them. 😇
Some of my wishes for what gets fixed soon...
Several times I have to nudge the accelerator because it is too timid when entering heavy traffic.
Exiting highways it starts to slow down while in the right hand lane and then enters the exit... it should enter the exit and then begin slowing down.
When merging to a new lane, if there is another car coming over into the same lane FSD starts to brake... it just needs to maintain speed an re-enter it's original lane.
It is too "left lane" happy when on the highway... I see many times it takes the left hand lane in preparation to pass but the car is still 100 yards plus the next car in front of it.
We are all prejudiced toward our method of driving and our bad habits.
Fsd 12 a lot better but there’s still critical disengagements. Tried my first 1.25 hour drive and it didn’t perform according to what I thought it would do from watching all the fsd videos
What "weaker demand environment" from BofA? The Tesla competition has largely left the playing field, leaving it to Tesla to feast upon. Tesla's sales should expand therefore....which is only to be expeccted.
Matt and Dillon FSD does not drive like you or me however if you ask yourself did it drive in a safe and reasonable way that you were comfortable with? My answer is yes it drives fine.
However
FSD obeys the speed limits better than me. When I check the energy use FSD is at or below the estimated forecast and I am usually over.
It's comfortable until I need to disengage for safety reasons. In the city it happens about once every 30 mins to an hour for me, which is very impressive. I'm very happy with latest fsd progress
Nobody thinks they're a bad driver. But there's no way that Dillon has better reaction times than FSD. It's not humanly possible. So I'd bet my house on FSD being better than Dillon at any element of driving relying primarily on reaction times - like emergency stops, unexpected collision avoidance, etc.
He's a fool to think otherwise.
There are so many people that are going to be embarrassed over their position on Tesla stock in the next three years.
FSD means way safer to drive thereby dramatically reducing accidents, repair costs, injury and death by 95%. Put the other way, who will buy the cars without FSD that are unsafe to drive and way more expensive to insure? We will soon look back with amazement that we ever drove such unsafe injury deathmobiles? Game over. FSD is the future.
Why FSD always like to drive on fast lane ?
Dont forget as one ages the reactions are declining. Younger people may have another view on the TESLA FSD. I was driving in the 90ths my Audi turbo with 220km/h at the autobahn. Back than much less traffic. Today I am happy with my 6Yr old modX100... Great car but I will never get FSD... OK I charge for Zero$ EU to Tesla SC. Its OK for me.
15:43
What ARE you talking about.
.
smh
wait to see the accidents go down when we see that data things will change.
I still didn’t even get the free month FSD yet
same here. My Wife and I rarely use AP because it has done phantom braking on us a few time. However I asked her if she would like to try FSD and she said yes so if Tesla gets around to offering it for free we would try it. It is unlikely that we would pay for it unless it was much less expensive AND would reduce our insurance. As it turns out my wife and I can drive so there is no incentive for beta or supervised driving software unless it saves us money.
Before v12 I had quite a bit of phantom braking, on v12 has not happened yet (not sudden braking, only gentle slowdowns which were fine and did not require to disengage)
Version 12 is actually as good or beythan me!!!
Post singularity, Optimus will insist on a 401k.
The used model 3s are the 25k teslas until 2027. No big deal they’re small enough.
The next FSD constrain that NO ONE is talking about is memory limitations of the hardware. FSD is basically a compression of everything it’s learnt compressed into a NN. Like LLMs, generally the larger the LLM, the more “intelligence” it exhibits. Like LLMs, some “tight” LLMs have shown high intelligence despite smaller size. If memory does end up being an issue, how easy will it be to retrofit memory or does it mean accepting the limitations until next hardware revision. This is something that keeps me up at night, but I assume that the engineers at Tesla have already thought of this and management already have a game plan.
I wonder about what requirements there may be in terms of memory speed. Because if it can work with slower access speeds and higher latency then you could literally just plug a high speed SSD into the USB port and use software to format it as a RAM disc. You could add a few terabytes of memory that way incredibly easily, but it won't read and write data as quickly as the memory chips (presumably) soldered to the motherboard internally.
@@derekgalbraith1508 it would have to be RAM similar to what is located in video cards, which I believe is DDR4 ram or similar, so super fast
@@miker99 DDR4 isn't typically what you would get in video cards. You would maybe get GDDR4 in older cards. But based on the age of hardware 4 it seems more likely to me to be GDDR5, maybe GDDR6.
What memory speeds and latency are required exactly?
Better than me
FSD will beat most drives when they have to drive for the first time in a new state that they have never driven in before.
FSD can know the local driving conditions whilst you will not. FSD will know the blocked roads and you will not.
This would actually be a great challenge.
Set 3 drivers against each other .
Driven 1 has 5-yrs driving experience and drives using FSD v12.
Driver 2 also has 5-yrs driving experience and driver 3 has 35-yrs.
Driver 2 drives with a trafic aware satnav whilst driver 3 has no sat nav just a street map.
All drivers come from a state that has great road markings and a mid-sized town with standard road plan with straightforwards box intersections.
The challenge will be to drive from their state to NY in the state of New York and back. The drivers must not be more than 3 states away from New York state. If they do not live in such a state then they can first travel and start in a state that meets this criteria.
On their way back all drivers will use FSD v12 to be able to tell the difference.
The objective on the way into NYC will be to see who can get there the quickest. The driver with FSD will log any interventions and pushes of the accelerator peddle.
Thoughts anyone????
CYBERTUCK IS THE TOUGHEST TRUCK ON THE ROAD!!!
you need a cybertruk kid,..and maybe a booster seat.
Most people think they drive better than others, # of accidents per mile is really the only thing that matters, the rest is just bar talk. Tesla stock will explode when fsd is making serious money, that will happen way sooner than 5 years from now. Humans at large do not get exponential progress that is why this date dart throwing when it comes to timing.
Lol injured in the gym, right 😉.
Tesla is so far ahead you need a telescope to see 2nd place. Legacy auto produces 1920's poison gas cars while Tesla with FSD produces "safety" vehicles resulting in way lower insurance costs, and far fewer injuries and deaths. Compelling reasons to go with a Tesla. Game over.
12.3.4 isn't going to be much improvement at all over 12.3.3. MajorVersion . MinorVersion . PatchVersion
We won't see any major changes until at least 12.4.
Hopefully not $220 anytime soon.
@Christine_perkins33 Yeah, I sold all of mine and hope to see it fall to $100-$120 to buy back in.
@Christine_perkins33 I don’t think now is the best time to buy, Wall Street will still manipulate the stock in the near term with earnings estimates declining.
2 things Tesla needs to do before FSD can be considered super human, lane selection needs to be fully solved. The Car must stay in it's lane when turning as crossing lanes is very dangerous. The cars should be able to drive > 100M miles between critical disengagements / incidents. Humans crash roughly every 100M miles, so if we get a vehicle only having an incident, but not a crash every 100M miles, then it should be considered super human. > 1B and it's 10x human ability. The biggest issue is that some humans will intentionally try and crash into Tesla's and other autonomous vehicles to make them crash, just for fun, because some humans are real idiots, and in some places there is no consequences for crime. Need an external flame thrower option for autonomous cars IMHO.
Fisker, Canoo, Lordstown, and Lucid will all rise from the ashes after they reveal they have partnered with Tesla on FSD.
If you want to be a good driver go drive a school bus. Then you will see what type of driver you really are.
Come on man there’s sooooo much Better music written
If you consider logan paul or ishowspeed ‘liberal’ i pray for you..
Dylan needs to just go back to the gym
ill know when the bubble pops when the tweets dry up
i have been driving for over 40 years and what this guy is saying is not true human driver look a side lister to music , if something drop like phone in the car you would paid some attention to it while driving and there so much more things a human driver paid attention to while driving FSD would not do all these things while driving 🤔😴
Tesla fsd isn't done and went be for a years. Useful maybe but not done. The stock will tank if they don't deliver more cars for cash.
With the best telescope in the world I cannot see 220. But keep pumping because Elon wants to sell.
Tessy stock might rise to over $200 in 2025
$2000 in year 2027

If that were true, my 11,161 shares will be worth $30 million. I seriously doubt the universe will allow me to have $30 mill, so I better buy my burial plot now.

@@yourlogicalnightmare1014of course you have around 2 million in tesla stock 😂😂😂
dude, stop it with the Gary the Grift BS...nobody cares what he thinks....the guy is a complete fake....
The number of Teslas I have seen on the road in my city (population ~100k) has been increasing noticeably over the past year and I even saw a Foundation Series Cybertruck parked at my local Lowe's Home Improvement store two days ago. I didn't expect to see one in person so soon after launch. It's amazing how much it stands out from all the other cars parked around it. Just jumps out at you.
Saw a black wrapped Cybertruck in Greensboro, NC yesterday. First sighting so far.
Think how much faster it thinks than a black man.
