The question I was most curious about was how does Elon balance analysis and gut feeling, which is honestly a fantastic question. Unfortunately Elon doesn't answer this question. He talks about the value of speed, but nothing about how to balance analysis and intuition (gut feeling).
When building things, there's a point where you have analyzed as much as you possibly can, and are still left with major gaps of the unknown. At that point you are left with your intuition or instinct on where to go. Also, if you try to take analysis to far to try and fill in those gaps of the unknown you can enter analysis paralysis. So the question basically asks, with all these problems that Elon's companies are facing, how do you not run into a situation where you have analysis paralysis, and how do you wield your intuition and instinct at that point to then move forward?
you use your intuition because that's what it's for.🙂 You can't really explain intuition, it just is.

We don’t need a one hour rant on wokeness - that’s a tired narrative and boring as hell. He focussed on electric cars and Mars, as he should. Tech issues are where Elon shines. He gave Elon a chance to talk about Twitter in general and Brazil in specific. He didn’t belabor any negative points. He didn’t bring up hate speech on Twitter. That was an excellent interview for Elon - showcased his strengths.

Never talked about in the discussion of self sufficiency on Mars is the perchlorates in every inch of dirt/dust, and lack of any shielding from solar radiation as Mars has no magnetosphere to speak of

Solar panels can't do it, these need to be taken to Mars and couldn't provide enough energy to be useful
