For the wardrobe, I would take the doors off and get the middle wall knocked out and get a sliding door or a folding door fitted as it is cause knocking the whole thing out would be more expensive and you then have to buy a wardrobe as well xx

Im not sure if you have it there but the container store does really good closet organization! I used to have two closets just like that with a wall in the middle but connected on the inside and essentially they designed shelves to go in the middle section so you could still get to stuff from either side a bit easier! I also had stand-alone drawers that I put in my closet under the hanging section that pulled out through the doorway and that made it a bit more accessible

Love thee rambling types of videos ❤️ Re the wardrobe, it depends on how much you wanna spend but you can get a someone to take out the wall and then there is a lot of companies which do built in fitted wardrobes with sliding doors. I have them in my room and have had them for almost 13 years and they’re so great and will tailor them to what you want do you are not limited to layout and design like shop wardrobes. x

We had a wardrobe like that and we knocked the middle wall down ourselves (it’s super easy to do, you’d be surprised) and then we got sliding wardrobe doors online which worked out so much cheaper and nicer than b&q etc. We also got mdf cut to size from b&q and used them to make our own shelves.. add some sensor lights and voila💡 🏠 xx
We literally got the Kallax unit the other day for shoe storage for in our conservatory xxx

You could get those people who do they built in storage units to come and do it and you'll yet lots of hanging space and draws for belts and glasss etc.
We have the same unit but 2x2 for our TV unit with glass doors, IKEA is brilliant for homeware.. We also got our wardrobes from there too, highly recommended 😊😊

For the wardrobe situation, I think it would be nice if you got sliding mirror doors(don't know what they're actually called). Firstly they would make ur bedroom look bigger but u will have full size mirrors(u can never have too many mirrors)!
You'd need to check if it's a load bearing wall - that bit of wall might be to make the lintel (horizontal bit above the door) smaller, or if there's a massive beam in there for some reason. I can't think of any other reason for that random bit of wall.
Would love if you could do more house stuff, like a tour or show where you bought furniture! I'm moving into my first flat soon with my bf and love your style. So would be great to get some inspiration! Love your videos x

I don’t know if you want to display your shoes or not, so I’m so sorry if this is not helpful at all. But I personally think Ikea billy the one that look like bookcase is much better option to display shoes and bags. It’s easier to find your shoes too cause you don’t have to sort through each basket. You can insert the shelves/rack (don’t know what they’re called but the tier inside the bookcase) down the road if you have more shoes. And costumize the height between each tier. A lot of people use that one for their diy walk in closet as well cause it’s much more affordable. I don’t know if I’m making sense here haha. But if you have boots and sneakers you can adjust each tier to fit the height of the shoes. So bottom for boots, second for sneakers, third for bags, etc..
But I agree with you the insert will definitely help to maximize the storage for that ikea kallax one cause I have something similar and the insert from Ikea helps a ton. I think it’s called varierra or something..

Loved the update soph, a great way to end my birthday. If you can remove the door and the bit of wall to open a recess a sliding door option would look great, you would need a builder for that though. Measure the whole of the back walls first if you want to go for pax one so you can see what will work. It will look gorgeous and I flippin love the shoe rack, I am literally going to but one tomorrow and that mirror is getting orders at the end of the month xx
You could also store sunglasses in your mirror!!!

The painting you have is called an acrylic pour. It's done with acrylic paint, silicon, paint flo, dish soap and several other things mixed in the paint. It's really popular in the U.S. There are a lot of videos to show how to do it. You should try it and do a video.
In our house we did not have enough cupboard space for shoes and to stock on groceries. And I was looking at shoe racks just like you, but could not find the right one. So I did design a pax closet from ikea online with the shelves, which is 100 x 236 x 40 cm and was around 100 euro's. Displayed al our shoes and have quite a lot of room for groceries so I am still happy with it every day. Maybe something like that is an option it you ever want to display the shoes more or something.
Just after I typed this a saw the last minute of so of the vlog and heard you talk about pax closets, If you design one yourself maybe it will fit in these spaces too.

I think the best thing to do with the wardrobe is to knock down the wall in the middle and replace the doors with sliding ones, it would look a lot cuter and make it more accessible. ❤️
