    I'm a bit concerned about ESBC, tbh. With so much hype behind it, the expectations may be unrealistically high. We'll have to wait and see though.
    A bit of critique (not that I play this game), but have you considered jabbing a bit on the outside when your opponent stands in place waiting? It's a bit less risky than just walking directly to the inside, which seems like exactly what they want; maybe even one or two jabs to provoke an action then counter.

    Wow 2 very tough fights my brother. As you know my philosophy on this game is to waste your opponent’s stamina by making them whiff. That style is a bit harder to pull off though if the opponent doesn’t throw much. You did really good on your stamina management and regeneration. Your offense and defense is still great though. Also these opponents were quite the tough fight in itself. I guess the best thing you could’ve done was to really make them whiff. What I mean is you need to know the punch range. See the Tyson guy won rounds because he was able to get inside and land his punches. That’s what I mean about making your punches count. Make sure they land so that you aren’t wasting them. Anyway back to punch range. What I mean about punch range is you need to learn and figure out how to stay just outside of your opponent’s reach. That way he’ll think he can throw a punch and land but you’ll be just a hair outside and he won’t connect. You can also just back step to stay out of punch range. This’ll make him whiff, waste stamina, and also land you points on the cards. In fact you can be in ready position to catch then tap back so you perform a step back but will still be ready to catch an incoming punch. Practice getting ready to catch an incoming punch and stepping back at the same time. Plus if you’re just outside of his reach you can lunge with a straight and get the counter. After you got the first KO on Tyson you should’ve backed off and just prepare yourself to catch his offense and counter at opportune times. See usually once a player goes down they know they need to make a move to offense otherwise they will lose. So players usually get desperate and start throwing more punches. That’s your chance to catch their punches and drain their stamina even more. Remember no stamina no block. Once they realize they can’t get through your defense they will most likely back off and try to regain their stamina. That’s when start trying to trap them against the ropes. As they block against the ropes you push to open them for 1 hook to the head. If they go back to block repeat the push and hook. Soon they will see their stamina close to nothing and when that happens you will know. The player’s head will start to bobble. They won’t be able to move as quickly. Essentially they will look drunk. That’s when you know they are hanging on to whatever they have left. When you see that you can keep putting the pressure and sooner or later they will fall. Remember the best thing to do is to always get their stamina low ASAP. So punch a bit here and there but always always make sure to catch their punches. And to make sure your punches land throw at least a 3-4 high low punch combo. Uppercut, hook, hook, hook. Then back up catch more punches and counter with your combo again at opportune times. Don’t throw for the sake of throwing. Make those punches count. Anyway as always great fight and commentary. Zach vs Slater. Mr. Legendary 👍👍👍👍

    • @RickyJSports
      @RickyJSports  3 года назад +1

      thanks coach and as always i look forward to your responses... i gotta get that 3-4 high low combo going and i need to be more patient and catch punches better. I had a chance in the second fight but i blew it lol thanks coach for this.. i read it 5 times haha

    • @jasonpypsaeris4643
      @jasonpypsaeris4643 3 года назад

      @@RickyJSports maybe I can post a video to show you what I mean about punch range. I’ll see if I can do that for you bro. That way you can see what I’m talking about. My channel doesn’t really have anything though lol. And the only subscribers are like family and friends. But I’ll see if I can get something up there for you to see. Anyway just a bit more info on that range thing. Okay the best thing to do is kinda exactly what you’re doing now. So what you want to do is go in and try to anticipate when the punch is coming. You actually have quite a bit of leeway to react. So walk in and as soon as you see a punch coming tap the block and step back at the same time. Keep repeating this so they flail with punches. Thus causing them loss of stamina and also whiffing punches. If you get up to the ropes then do a side step. Plus when you do the step back sometimes the analog stick flings back to neutral position and the game thinks you’re doing a slip. So many times you get a slip the punch movement mixed in with stepping back. Thus giving you an opportunity for a really strong counter punch. I just tried the online and this guy literally couldn’t hit me.... all my rounds my hit percentage was above 50% and his was 30% and below. So to sum it up get close but always try to stay just out of range. Tap block and do a step back. Keep doing that to wear down his stamina. Throw in a few punches here and there at opportune times. Then once you get them on the ropes keep tapping block to catch punches and counter punch at the right times. Push to open their block or just keep catching the punches. Then once you connect with a good punch he will definitely get stunned. Then you let everything fly. Anyway hope I can get a video up for you bro. So you can see all the things I’m talking about. Take care brother. ✌️

    When your opponent comes forward towards you, do not go backwards unless you absolutely have to and in trouble. Always circle, go left instead of back. Circle around your opponent, if he goes forward it don’t matter because you’re rotating. Righties rotate clockwise (left) southpaws rotate counter clockwise (right) usually, but both ways can be utilized. This is real boxing technique though, maybe these principles don’t apply here

    If the first new boxing game in years is anything like the first new nascar game that just came out(been years since we got a Nascar game too) then we're in trouble. Id like to see you use that jab to the head and body more when fighting on the outside. Also, looks like you're just using buttons, it would up your game so much learning to use the stick. Just do the training games, it might seem like you're moving the stick the right direction but if you look at it while you throw it you'll notice its not. And you'll get better at it faster than you think. Especially on this game since they simplified the hooks and uppercut compared to round 4

    It's not you. Muhammad Ali in FNC before the patches and looney tuners was a beast. He was too fast and unhittable and unbeatable if you were a somewhat skilled player. People complained how overpowered Ali was so they nerfed his punching power and especially his speed and footwork.
