I got excited for this case because it's gorgeous (and the video was great) but this is another one where the magsafe ring isn't in the right spot. Google didn't align the coil with the logo on the back of the phone with the coil being much lower now. You mentioned charging issues and that could be why? Hope this helps someone! I completely overlooked Whitestone for cases, I mostly know them to make their famous screen protectors but didn't even consider them for a case. I was eyeing the Moment case for the 8 Pro that is due out December 16 and that too has MagSafe along with a few other niceties but it's also $50 and their stuff overall doesn't have the kind of resounding positive feedback you might imagine a premium brand like that might have and it would be my first ever Moment product so I'm a little on the fence about getting it. This though looks great and I love the Clear version with the frosted/clear combination and that MagSafe magnet is super strong and I know Whitestone makes good quality stuff. I mainly want the MagSafe for using it with a MagSafe car dash mount. My one concern though since this will be my first MagSafe case on a Android phone or a Pixel phone, I use wireless chargers at work and at home and I wanna make sure there won't be any issues with those. I use a Pixel Stand 2 at home for overnight charging and a Belkin charger at work. Both work great with my Ringke case but the MagSafe for in the car will be great to have too. Thanks for the review.
So even non iphone user wants magsafe on their device. Apple get criticised a lot but they sometimes also invent things that is more convenient in day to day life and also because it’s apple it gets adopted quickly.
Apple only named it MagSafe, but that circle of wireless charging already existed. The coil design is not iphone specific, because apple just traced what was already there after receiving wireless charging years after Android devices
@@MarshallClicksPhotography tbh never saw it before. Wireless charging was there but to make it convenient no company that I know used magnets so that charger can align itself and stays on place. After Apple introduced magsafe now you see cases everywhere with magsafe option which was not a case earlier.

Some people mentioned that the buttons fall out.
I wish they had the white case for the regular 8
too bad they don't make the frosted white version for the regular pixel 8 size.

By next year it should be standard across the board with Qi 2, I wouldn’t use a case without it anymore as I have so many MagSafe accessories

@@mehulrathod7185 the magneticism was already there in the Pixel and the Galaxy. It just wasn't on display with cases. That's what Apple did
