Everyone who know's Goldberg personally has always said he has a big heart and is one of the most genuine guys you could ever come across. And I truly believe Goldberg is sorry and did not mean to hurt Bret what so ever. I have seen the kick and to me it just looked like it hit at a bad angle, Bret had his hands up but Goldberg's foot was slightly off.
+jerichompm tbh if they did it ur way no1 would watch and wwe and wrestling show would loose more like goldberg said b4 hsi char hurt alot of people like haku who he almost broke his neck goldberg was made to destroy so dats what he went out and done each week
I just don't know that it was as much Goldberg's fault that Bret's career ended as Bret likes to make out. The kick doesn't look any different than kicks like that which happen all the time in wrestling, like Luke Harper, Michaels, Orton's punt, etc. it's not like he just booted him in the head and completely followed through. The thing is, Bret was running straight into it, and his head snapped back hard, which causes your brain to rattle. Not to mention the buildup throughout his career of head shots and concussions. There's a possibility Bret is just as much at fault; all Goldberg did was throw the same kick he always throws at guys, just a freak accident that their timing and coordination was off. Bret just plays the bitter victim so much, that I just don't know if it is legit that Goldberg is solely responsible for his career ending
0:11 "Bret and I are very good friends and he doesn't hold it against me" Uh yeah, about that. Bret's semi-recent appearance on Broken Skull Sessions begs to differ.
Lol Bret just is a blunt person and he doesn't sat things to be mean, he is just telling his opinion. And I think all the wrestlers just cut him some slack, they just let him be lol. Like WWE kept bringing him back after all the shit he's talked about Triple H and Ric Flair and Vince McMahon.
The kick was only a fraction of the damage though. The fact he wrestled for like 3 more events is why he suffered post concussion disorder or what ever it was…
I wonder How many wrestlers did Goldberg injure over his career ? Many wrestlers have stated how Goldberg was extremely dangerous in ring due to his lack of knowledge on how to do shit right , I knew he injured Bret hart and costed him his career and he was huge , but he also injured Scott Steiner , also Haku too , and I’d be willing to bet thAt there’s more
Lol Bret still buries Goldberg to this day. He was on the Broken Skull Sessions when Goldberg was going to the Hall of Fame and said something like 'Hall of Fame? He's the most unprofessional wrestler ever. He's always hurting people, you might as well go out there and wrestle a real gorilla' lol I love how Bret doesn't mince words and is just telling his opinion
Strange and sad that Goldberg says that they were still friends but in 2020, Bret buried Goldberg on the Stone Cold podcast. I know Bret should not be happy over how things went down but at some point, what more can Goldberg do besides apologizing multiple times?
Goldberg really didn't mean to end Bret's career look at the angle of his feet, it's a bend position not a straight forward with impact, Bret was just kind of very materialistic guy in all those years. If Bret couldn't forgive Goldberg well it's up to him, Bill can't do anything about that.
I've seen the video of the incident several times. Goldberg kicks and Hart runs straight into it. OK, Goldberg is muscle monster and not on par with Hart when ut comes to technical skills, but his kick doesn't seem to be any more unsafe than Shawn Michaels'. If Hart is so good as people, himself included, claims he is, why the hell didn't he do whatever the hell a wrestler is supposed to do to soften the impact? I believe I would die if Shawn Michaels did a Sweet Chin Music on me, because I have zero experience in wrestling and wouldn't know how to take and sell the move. BTW, a concussion is not a career ending injury if you give your head a chance to heal. Hart ended his career by continuing to do several matches the weeks after. Hart May have been concerned about what a medical leave would affect his career, but that's none the less a stupid reason. It turned out to end his career. When it comes to personalities, Hart seems to be a very disagreeable man with low cognitive functions. Either he's always been that way, or it must have been one helluva kick to the head.
How can you be so dumb? Don't you understand that it's mostly up to the KICKER to lessen the impact? The only thing Bret could have done was 'roll with it' but if the kick is 100% full power there's nothing he can do to stop it especially when he doesn't expect it to be so hard. Bottom line is Goldberg should have kicked much softer while bending his knee.
You can't say sorry for ending someone's career. Bret Hart lost millions because Goldberg thought it was OK to kick him in the face as hard as he could. Goldberg SUCKS!
+Joe Glass so? he said so himself in interviews... he has never wrestled. But he also said... how many people around the same size as him can do a backflip? Not many.

Goldberg needs to forgive himself...
+venigmatic23 ywah in fact, he sounds sincere, and probably Bret fkorgave him..but he seems he needs to forgive himself
hardest thing to do is forgive yourself Bill Goldberg
I feel sorry for both of them.
They were friendly for a while but Bret recently this month has stated he doesn’t like Goldberg.
He says they are very good friends but Hart still brings it up and says how Goldberg cost him a lot of money and stuff like that
Goldberg was always sloppy and reckless
I’d be upset too if a guy cost me millions of dollars

Bret is a crybaby..

Haku? The only one who has mentioned Haku (landing on his head) was Bret Hart - Haku has lots of respect for Goldberg and liked working with him
Steiner and goldberg were wrestling's biggest rivarly, much like ryback and brian cage.

Bret Hart is just a big baby

Damn!!
Goldberg hurt a lot of guys with botches. He was not a good wrestler, but he was a marketing giant.
Goldberg was a monster when he ended Bret career

To all the wrestlers man up and learn to take some real shots
LEGEND KILLER Yes mate how about you try and take a 350 pound muscle bound kicking you in there head for real, I swear you keypad warriors
Why don't you go into the ring and show these jabornis how a real man takes bumps?

Gayberg
I don't doubt Goldberg might believe something like this but is it just me, or is this not Goldberg speaking! 😂
