@Megan Wargula The Vizslas run nose up like the GSPs and English Pointers, a little more delicate than a lab. My Lab would smash through brush, where the Vizslas are probably gonna circle and smell rather than brute force through the brush. I think my GSP is somewhere in between the two, with a strong fetch and fast running, nose up hunting. My Lab did learn how to point from the Vizslas and would often honor their points until I sent her in to flush birds. Vizslas are very, very high energy and would typically run harder for more of the day than my lab.
While not a lab, I have hunted with Viszlas for ducks, geese, pheasant, and quail. A wonderful breed.
