Oh man, you did this dog dirty with that very last shot XD
OHHHH 'KAY I just saw what this comment was talking about HAHAHA she really did 🤣🤣
When you gotta go you gotta go! 💨 💩 💨
I wasn't ready for the last shot 😂
That killed me ahahaha
Left a nice tip
Every Vizsla I’ve met will demand you play fetch with them until your arm falls off, then demand even more fetch
With the arm...
That is my 7lb poodle!
I met one once beautiful yes but ran like the wind 😵💫
My old neighbor had one and I dog sat for a weekend once. I got the best sleep of my life when that weekend was over lol.
We've had 3 .... so true!
Artemis left you a good tip. She is so beautiful and was pretty well behaved for her first groom.
I was wondering about that... 😂. Did we really need to see her drop a turd in the garden.
Yeah in the garden LOL 🤣
Thanks for grooming my pup! I was really curious how she'd do since she hasn't gone to the groomer before but we do a lot of agility work and she's always been great at the vet so I had high hopes.
The lil internal commentary was so funny and I laughed at the closing shot. 😂❤
She’s gorgeous. Thanks for sharing her to us viewers. Give her lotsa hugs from me. 🥰
@@Inno_Vare will do!! ❤️❤️
She was super well behaved!! Even for the nails with the Dremel!! I am glad you do agility with her.. ❤
@@dovie2blue thank you!! I dremel her nails at home so she's got the process down even if its not her favorite thing lol!
What an absolutely beautiful angel you have in Artemis! 😍
For her first groom, she did incredibly well
Thank you! I was very proud to see how well she behaved
@@appleschloss It showed how well you treat her. Her fur and muscles looked amazing, she is the perfect weight and being so well-behaved proves she's one happy and lucky girl (and being a Hungarian I'm excited to see her on this channel, it's a wonderful breed).
@@nijiayame848 thank you!! That means a lot
She was clearly nervous but once she realized that nothing would hurt her, she settled right down.
I don't know whether there's a dubbed version, but in Hungary, literally everybody grew up watching the adventures of Frakk, a macskák réme (loosely translated as: "Tuxedo, the terror of cats") about a well-meaning vizsla, sometimes outwitted by his cat-siblings: Lukrécia and Szerénke.
Out of curiosity, I did a quick Amazon search, and it did turn up a couple DVDs for this show (which surprised me a little) but alas, only in Magyar.
Haha the ending shot 😂
I once knew a Vizsla who could climb a 6-foot-high fence, at 16 years old. She was a very anxious girl, but lovely all the same.
This dog looked like she was more comfortable climbing than jumping...the way she pulled herself up the step into the tub, haha.
@@kray3883 Lol. That's exactly what made me think of the pooch I'd known.
They need a LEADER. You cannot give them fear. They will start to malfunction within days.
I adopted a 2-year-old Vizsla from a family who said he could get over the 8-ft cinderblock wall around their backyard, so they couldn't keep him. We were ready to install a new fence, but found he was content to stay in our yard with a 5.5-ft fence because he could climb the tree and see over it to the park behind our house. He just wanted to people-watch.
@@palecompass3598 And you cannot project fear onto them. If they don't see a leader in you.... they will project that onto you. I have a 9 y/old vizsla here.
She has a face of how I'd expect someone being abducted by aliens and resigned to their confusing fate. "It feels nice, it doesn't seem to be hurtful but WTF IS GOING ON WHO ARE YOU WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME WHYYYYY?!"🤣
Gotta love the quick turnaround... gets sprayed with water "omg what are you doing?! Oh wait this is kind of nice..." gets blow dried "what the hell is that?! Oh this is kind of nice!" And finally "here's your tiiiiip lady!"
Thank-you for my first belly laugh of the day with that unexpected final poop shot! Ha!
You did Artemis dirty with that last shot xD
I think it was Artemis who did a dirty
@@Konpekikaminari😂
We have a Vizsla growing up. He was a great jogging partner and an addict for the tennis ball. We had a “Chuck-it” and he would catch the ball in the air, run through my legs and place the ball between your feet for the next throw. RIP Ivory. You were the best dog ever!
Artemis is also a tennis ball addict!! Her favorite thing right next to birds!
Saw this Viszla meme once saying "I'm a highclass huntingdog. But I don't do wet. Or cold. Defenitly not wet and cold."
As an owner of a Weimaraner (basically the german variation of that breed in grey) I can confirm that's 100% true.
for sure! Our Vizsla does not want to go for a walk when it rains and walks around puddles. But if you throw a ball in the water she will jump in no thoughts
My sister has a dog that’s part Weimaraner and part Pit Bull; he’s a big goofy sweetie who falls apart when he’s left at home.
Our Vizla Shadow was a rescue. Being the runt of a rather large litter, he had very low life expectancy hence why we took him. He was lovable and would chase us. But he did enjoy loafing. He had to have cartoons on when we left otherwise he tore up the house. His favorite toy was a small piece of 2x4 he picked out himself (it was in the yard where my dad was renovating the garage into a bedroom). He only got it when we left. He was overweight for most of his life due to the steroids he needed for hip displaysia. He loved going to see “Johnna” (our vet) and would literally pretend to be hurt if he felt he needed to go. He was such a character. He lived to be 16 years old.
My mom's husband has a Vizsla, and despite being over 12 years old already, he's still just as energetic as a puppy. You can throw him a stick for hours, and he'll still keep pestering you for more.
I read this as "My mom's husband was a Vizsla" and was very confused for a moment.
Hungarian here. I really appreciate that Vanessa pronounces the name of the breed correctly! Thank you!
Artemis is beautiful. What sweet, well trained pup. Her coat is a stunning fawn color.
Thank you!! We do a lot of fun competing together, like agility and lure coursing
Artemis was obviously very pleased - leaving a generous tip😂
I think she watched Link’s video whom she also left a “generous tip”. LOL
My SIL had a Vizsla-Golden Retriever mix who was the sweetest dog ever. My SIL used to run marathons and would routinely take Sammy on training runs with her. Sammy loved it!
She is beautiful.
As a hungarian, nice to see vizsla at your place. :)
What a gorgeous girl. I’ve always wanted a Vizsla but ended up with 2 rescue GSP’s instead which are similar in a lot of traits. From people who had them as pets, I got the impression they can be a tad more neurotic than GSP’s but big love bugs. And high energy, smart and very much Velcro dogs like GSP’s tend to be as well. We lucked out with our last rescue GSP. My husband’s cancer came back just as we got her and it could have been a disaster as life went off the rails for a good 3 years and he still struggles 5 years later. But she has been the most empathetic, intuitive and caring dog, unbelievably good for a young high energy breed with a history of abuse and acting out at the fosters. She has been by his side through it all. And, yes, they can go and go and go. When my sister-in-law visits with her mile-long-legs she takes her on long runs and Kona is in heaven. She pines for her when she leaves. Our dog walker just doesn’t measure up I guess 😂. Thank you for sharing this video of Artemis and indulging my love of all things Vizsla…I will imagine petting her silk soft ears!
We have a Vizsla at our daycare, and he's an absolute psycho (in a good way) he has lots and lots of energy and loves to run we all wish our yards were bigger for him.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHH This is a treat! Back in 2004 my family got a Vizsla who was just a few months old from a person who bred them out by San Diego. We had him with us until 2019, where he lived to be 16 years old. I miss that dog every day dearly. These guys truly are one of a kind. And yes, they really live up to their reputation of being Velcro dogs
OMG 16 years is amazing !
Artemis: *Cute and wholesome, named after the Greek Goddess of the Hunt*
Also Artemis at the end of this video:
For it being her first time groomed, I think Artemis had a great attitude and disposition about the process. She is gorgeous. 🐶❤️🐶❤️😊
I grew up with Vizslas and I love those goobers so much!!!
AHHHHHHH MY FAVOURITE BREED.
Mine is 12 years old and she is a crazy but sweet dog.
My dog is also quite independent but she still loves her people.
Lick attacks are common, flop hugs are common and their fur is lethal.
Omg flop hugs!! That's the word for it! Our girl doesn't like petting that much but she will flop all over you!
Flop hug is the best way I've seen to describe it, you WILL cuddle me when I want
Artemis did well. She's an excellent tipper.
Oh my gosh!!! I knew a vizsla named Elvis! Helped raise him his first two years of life!! How I loved that hound!!
She was so funny when she first got on the table! 🤭
She is the most precious being omg
OH my gosh, she is absolutely gorgeous 💞 She really did a fantastic job with it being her first time ever having a professional grooming session ❤😊❤ Then again she had the best groomer in Canada to get her started at the groomers ❤❤❤ thank you for sharing her with us today Vanessa ❤️🥰❤
I was absolutely in LOVE with Vizslas when I was younger, having met one in my neighborhood who was super sweet made this breed one of my favorites
That last shoot though 🤣🤣
Love these kinds of dogs: GWPs, GSPs, Vislas, Weimaraners - such great best friends that will get you moving 👍
I know all the breeds you mentioned except GWP’s…?
@@julieobrien4056 German Wirehaired Pointer - best dog I've ever trained !
@@MichelBertrand Aaaah, WIREHAIRED!! I forgot German Pointers came in a wirehaired coat as well! I haven’t seen one in ages!!
I am a Vizsla owner and I have been waiting for you to do a video of one for ages!! So excited to see this! My Laz sheds just as much as Artemis. They are the sweetest, goofiest dogs. Love my Velcro pup. 🥰
I realized she hadn't done one yet and reached out to see if she'd be down to groom Artemis
@@appleschloss That’s awesome!! Wish I could share a pic of my baby with ya! It’s crazy how much they all look alike lol!
@@haillsj i always love seeing and meeting other Vizslas
@@appleschloss Me too! And you do the same for Artemis! 🤗
Me toooooo! I was so excited to see this video pop up!! 🥰 my Velcro girl is called Beans 🐶🐾
"Oh heck! Not the fur fluffer!" cracked me up! Too cute! The pet commentary is to die for on these videos! Thanks for adding it!
Intensley playful is how I would describe a Vizsla. Everyone I've met wants to go, go, go. They're so much fun if you have the time/energy
Love to hear the correct pronunciation!! Adorable doggo, Vizslas are very sweet. I remember growing up one lived nearby and I'd always pet them through the fence.
What a beautiful girl. Thank you for taking such good care of her.
She is beautiful! Thanks for sharing!✌🏻🫶🏻
I work with a dog whose mom was full Vizsla and he’s literally the sweetest! Loyal and listens well and gets along with all animals except chickens
She left her "review" on your lawn. What a lovely girl. ❤
There are lots of things I love about your channel, like getting to see sweet doggos and kitties, but my most favorite thing (aside from puppies, of course) is learning about dog breeds I've never heard of before.
Energetic is an understatement for this happy pup!
It always amazes me that those tiny combs on the EqiGroomer can actually pull out the loose coat. :)
She's so pretty!!!
Vizlas are the most gorgeous dogs out there along with the Weimaraner
Artemis was soooooooo fun to watch especially when at the end and she left you a reminder of her 😂❤
Exactly! I never thought she'd shed so much fur.
She is gorgeous. I love this breed. Watching them run is truly amazing. They need a lot of exercising, and will do well with joggers and hikers. When they tire out...they tire out. They are affectionate, loyal, sweet, and want nothing more than to be part of a family.
My sister has a beautiful Vizsla/pitt mix but has the full appearance of the vizsla and they are so beautiful
Between the derpy ears, soulful face and the hoodie shots, how can you not love her?!?!
Man oh man! I laughed til I choked and cried. She’s so pretty and so expressive
Beautiful pupper! She left you a nice tip! 🤣💖
What a sweet girl ❤
Beautiful girl and reasonably calm especially when its her first groom. Thank you for sharing your work.
That SniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiFF was very intense.
The video title did not disappoint--what a beautiful dog. And what a good girl Artemis was during her groom!
She's gorgeous!
Oh, those beautiful ears. Artemis is lovely
loving the addition of pop ups with doggie thoughts! so cute!
That's a gorgeous breed!
I love Vizlas!
Visla translates to Mica 😆😆
What a cutie! I love floppy ear doggos.
Vizslas are the best friend you never knew you needed which is great because they’ll be spending all their time with you and around you and on top of you. The Velcro is real.
Can confirm, got mine when I was quite badly depressed. He's my little hero.
The Vizsla is definitely one of my favourite dog breeds and it fits me on so many levels, but the High Energy part is the biggest mark down for me personally. I wish I was high energy myself enough for such a beautiful dog.
SHE'S TOOOOOOOO CUTE!!
I was surprised how good she did for the groom…she was good as gold! ❤
What a sweet baby
Beautiful dog, i havent heard of this breed
A very lean, fit body, hence her high energy breed and up to 40 miles an hour speed, Wow 🙂
She's beautiful 💜🇬🇧
Artemis is a beautiful name for a dog! She's absolutely stunning, well behaved and obviously treat motivated, lol!
She is so beautiful and what a gorgeous shape she has. 💚💚
Omg a Vizsla! My favorite dog in the world. Had one when I was growing up and she lived to be 15! She was my best friend, incredibly intelligent and the sweetest dog ever. Artemis is gorgeous. 🐕💜
What an amazing dog. She was very well-behaved.❤❤
Viszlas are so dear to my heart, my late friend owned two named Curry and Ginger, and she ran a therapeutic riding center so they had plenty of space to run and play. I miss the three of them every day. They basically helped raise me.
You are the first groomer I've have seen with this breed. I adopted one many years ago. His name was Morrison. Morris for short. I was blessed 16 years with him. There is no other breed so amazing as his. If I come across another at a rescue I'm diving in. Thank you for showing this beautiful girl.
What a well behaved dog, especially for her first groom! And she tipped! Huskies, THIS is how it's done!
I used to volunteer at a doggy daycare, and we had a vizsla named Lucy. She was such a wonderful dog, made me fall in love with the breed. I would love to have one, but because of their high energy level I don't think I would be able to meet their needs. Thank you for sharing Artemis with us.
Thanks Guys
Her worry lines in the happy hoodie are so adorable.
Vizslas look like they're sweethearts. I met one in my neighborhood last year named Luna and loved her energy.
They are so soppy and sweet.
But do require very good training and lots and lots of time.
Oh, I love seeing a dog treated as well as Artemis. Her weight seems perfect. It's so refreshing to see a dog that isn't overweight.
Why thank you! We do agility together
What a beautiful little girl dog. I love the pointer dogs, so much fun.
Aww. She's beautiful ❤
Our country's pride. They are just so fun and playful! 😊❤
This is a noble looking breed with gorgeous coloring
i had a vizsla growing up. he was the best dog ever. I still miss him every day. ❤
Our Pittie sheds more than that. It’s amazing how much some short haired dogs shed. Beautiful dog and well behaved. ❤️❤️
Wow. For a first groom, she did wonderfully!
I'm Hungarian and vizslas are known for needing a good run around every day - but once they have had that, they will collapse in front of you, and for the rest of the day will be very quiet and gentle. They are very smart and the only thing they want is to be where you are.
Artemis is gorgeous and a very good girl! She looks very stately.
What a beautiful dog, and looks like she left you a generous gratuity for your efforts at the very end of the video. Well done!
Oh my goodness, she's beautiful, she reminds me of my dog... Every time I think I miss having a dog though, I watch your channel and am reminded of being the family pet groomer for 16 years and I'm quite content with my cats XD
Our best dog ever was a Viszla. Gus was the most loving dog ever! He was always up for anything, loved every creature he ever met, and we still miss him every day. He was a very good boy. 😢
What a lovely girl! What an amazing amount of hair.
She's a very beautiful dog.😊❤🎉
I had one growing up. He had his own spot on the couch and loved lap time.
What a sweet baby! I love her!
