Never really ever play with mine as rule stand back look at from bit distance see if looks even . Usally do bit check if change ball joint or tie rod tho .
I agree about measure steering no way can be accurate handle bars can be bent or rack and throw off measurement .
Maybe on a new bike but if you ride enough have tip over or roll bike might change things for sure . And i at least have tip mine on side ha ha cheers great tips .

On my Honda Rancher the manual calls for a toe out alignment but I tried both and think it rides better with toe-in. HOWEVER! Steering in reverse gets very nervous and possibly dangerous for a new rider. Maybe the reason they say it should be toe out.

Well done video. When I did my chromemoly tierods on my atv, I also chose to measure off my handlebars just to be anal. It has been a long time now, but I believe when I did my measurement, I might have used a single point on the rack or chassis, and then used ratchet straps to the rear rack to hold it in the exact location. I don't remember exactly anymore, but I remember taking alot of time getting it exact. And honestly, it probably isn't worth the amount of time. Just sitting on the machine and going by how it feels is probably better. At the end of the day, it's just an ATV like you say. Happy New Year bud.

I’m having trouble getting to the inner tie rod end and the jam nut. Plus it seems a lot tighter than 40lbft. Didn’t know if there was trick to breaking them loose. It’s an 07 rancher TRX

@@tss91994 as long as the pen is out and turning right direction? no trick I know of . I’m part of a Honda club , I will ask them , but might not get back to me fast . Do you have face book ? Look up Honda club and ask them . If I hear anything I will let you know . But I’m guessing no trick , might just need some WD40 ?? Oh thank you for subscribing, tell friends , 😉

I hit the same roadblock. This guy points it out like he’s never actually done it personally.
