  • This unit has 15,000 miles and these bearings go out frequently especially if the seal is taken out first. This video shows simple replacement steps and how to get the job done with basic tools. A press can be used if available, but isn't necessary.

      The only problem is steel fasteners corroding in aluminum and getting stuck. I've had to drill and steel insert one this summer and replace the differential cover on another.

    How does the axel stay put?? My axel came out? Is there a locking system that keeps it in the diff?

    So what if you don’t have that collar that you said may or may not stay in. When I got the atv it was missing. Can I get it anywhere

    I can’t get the axle cover back into the diff

      Slap some oil or grease on the oring and tap on it some brap.

      I don’t typically grease either left or right hub seal. For seals retaining oil, output shaft seals, crankshaft seals, etc. I do put a little grease on them.
