I have a porn addiction and it is hard to admit it. I admit it now and I want to be like Jesus and not to be commit these sins. I am not a very religious person and I want to repent and ask for forgiveness. Thank you for your help.

Check out Isaiah Saldivar. He has a videos on self-deliverance telling you how to renounce all sins in your life. It worked wonders in my life!
Anything that you know you are struggling with, say "In the name of Jesus, I renounce pornography in my life and I bind it with the blood of Jesus and command it to depart from my entire being now in Jesus name. I Renounce all unclean spirits of lust and I bind the with the blood of Jesus and with all authority given to me by Christ Jesus my Lord and Savior, I command you satan and your minions of lust to depart from me now in Jesus mighty name and go into the abyss never returning to me ever again in Jesus name. Amen."
Make a list of all known sins and repeat this one by one renouncing all ungodliness in your life. Also, I would Renounce the spirit of shame and the spirit of guilt and command them by the blood of Jesus to depart from you now!
After you've gone through your list, then, ask the Lord to fill you with His Holy Spirit and with His Power. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, these unclean spirits cannot return to you with 7 more spirits because you are filled with the Spirit, and not an empty home for them to dwell in again.
I hope this helps. It worked wonders for me. All thought of lust, perversions have permanently left my mind. Glory be to God!

Sin is exactly that. It’s takes thing out of their proper context and design and as you said destroys the ability to love. God bless you, praying for you.
When quitting, you’ll see and feel God’s love and Joy so obviously that you start not wanting it anymore. I am too addicted and am slowly winning my battles. When the temptation is so strong I run to Jesus to declare my love for him and remember that in the end, the feeling of his love and Joy in heaven cannot compare to the feeling of lust and porn. Stay strong and continue to pursue your relationship with Christ.

Man I confess to y’all that I’ve been struggling with lust and sexual immorality, I was exposed to porn at 9 years old. Porn is ruining my child hood, I’m 16 now still going through this, y’all pray for me I just wanna live for god and do right by Jesus. Jesus ain’t die for me to be doing this
I'm struggling too, but we just need to focus on Him. Whenever we get these thoughts, we need to run like David did. We need to run to Jesus and not rely on our own ability to fight it off, because our own abilities will never defeat the Devil; only Jesus can.

Thank you for this video! I'm currently 17, but I was exposed to porn around age 9 and since then I've struggled with it on and off. Recently its been a huge problem, and today the reality hit me, that I'm keeping myself in this lifestyle. Jesus means everything to me, and I wanna start choosing him more.

haven’t watched p**n in a month and a week i think. don’t intend on going back. Lord really made it clear i will be punished if i go back and it really brought in the fear of the Lord intensely lol. it’s a good thing and reminder though because 1. it is a stumbling block & addiction that prevents Him from moving in my life 2. i’m serving in ministry and have no right to be in if i’m still willfully struggling with habitual sin 3. i know better and have known better i’m deep with my walk with God and i can’t take advantage of his grace anymore. Hey there brother, I'm also struggling with it. I wonder if it's even worth holding on to Christ after falling over and over again, into the lustful temptations. But one verse that keeps me from letting go is Deuteronomy 30:19 "I call heaven and earth as witness today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life.." God's words says to choose life. Don't give up fighting it, don't fall into the lies of the enemy. We gotta keep fighting this war in order to win the battle.

I've tried to stop it but i just keep going back. It is mostly my memory that keeps bringing me back to watching porn. Im not sure if I should tell anyone, because if I told my family that would kind of be weird to me. Please pray for me, I really do want to stop watching porn.

if your a male, try telling just your father for now. If your female, try telling just your mother. If not, you might have a close Christian friend. 2 Peter 1:3 "His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness." There is most likely someone you can tell and confess to. Confess to God, but also tell this person so that you may be healed and get help

As a teen, still to this day I struggle with this addiction but as of now I have been getting better. Each week it happens, once I complete the week successfully without watching it, the strong urge suddenly comes upon me. I think it's finally time to stop. It has just continuously brought me down to my lowest point ever. Porn is destroying all my abilities, skills, and feelings in life. I'm always being tempted by the Devil just as I was earlier today in which I have disappointed our Lord God. I've always prayed to God for forgiveness and to help me in which he helps me out a lot but it's just how weak and vulnerable I am to the devil. I think it's finally time I just have to let go and quit. Thank you for this video, I'm looking forward to watching some of your other videos and doing some research on how to quit this terrible sin. Our story is the same I'm also a young Christian teenager struggling with watching it and mastubating but remember the battle is not ours...we will not make the devil happy anymore... The same God who was with David is the same God who will me with us through this temporary storm amen
Update : I surpassed 8 weeks, however I came to a point where people around me influenced me and revealed content depicting porn to me. This caused me to fall as I was dragged into it. However, the fact that I went from only being able to do 1 week to being able to do 8 weeks is impressive enough for me. I will be cutting off my friends who had done this to me and I will put God first in hopes that he will ultimately help me to defeat porn, masturbation, lust, and etc. Today is February 27, 2023. I shall defeat this sin. Please if you guys would like, please pray for me.

Even the biblical greats felt this way, no man is exempt from the temptations and failures of our flesh, only god through jesus can deliver us from our bodies if flesh...I too am plagued with this same feeling you have and Paul had but it is encouraging to understand you and I, like many others are not alone in this.

I have been struggling with lust for a few years. Especially as a teenager. I pray over and over again, though I kept relapsing. I kept going to God with more sorrow. Even today, I’ve had lust and temptations though I tried blocking them out. Then I watched your two videos(“How to defeat lust”, and “How to defeat porn”). I feel a lot better now. I'm so sorry for your struggle. I recommend besides steadfast prayer and trust in Christ to get some support. There is Alanon and counselors, Christian counseling and domestic crisis centers. Please take care of yourself. You are worth it. You are precious in God's sight. Don't give up. Prayer can move mountains! Many marriages can be restored through the love of God. I pray in this moment that God will give you the strength to move through this difficult season and search His Word for the ultimate answers. You are loved by God and so is your husband. Addiction is hard to break but it's not impossible. Thinking of you and praying for strength. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I managed to overcome this thanks to the Lord
Some additional tips and advice:
(1) pray and ask Him to help you overcome it & trust Him for deliverance
(2) draw closer to Him & stay in His presence constantly to gain strength to resist. (prayer, reading the Word, listening to praise & preaching, maybe fasting etc)
(3) try to avoid triggers
(4) get back up each time if you fall & continue the fight, some may overcome immediately but it may also take years like it did for me

Update: just got baptized and i feel great i have been clean for a couple months and no longer struggle with wanting to watch P daily. I started off with one week and then kept going on from there I stoped watching things that I knew were going to temp me into watching P and now I no longer feel dirty but it is a struggle. I do hope that many other people can make this big step like I did and become closer with God.

Bro, please pray for me. I gave it up for awhile. Thought I had it beat. But when the word says “let any man think he stand take heed less he fall..” that’s what it means!! I slowly but surely worked my way back to it. Not as bad as before but still give in every now and then playing myself with rationalizations. These videos I will use to focus. I fasted and prayed the first time I quit. But now I’m weight training and my brain won’t let me “waist” all the gains I got. Or thinking I can do it without fasting this time. I literally liked a girl on a commercial and a thought of lust came into my head. I’m like man I am terrible. I can’t even watch TV!!?!?! I know greater is He that is in me than he that’s in the world. But these battles are starting to have me in a “bunker”. 🙌🏾

I’ve sadly allowed this addiction to destroy my life for the past 7 years. I’m only 19 and my life has been consumed by this daily addiction. I’ve developed muscle weakness, arrhythmia, and have totally scrambled my brain chemistry. With all these problems, I live with constant fear of whether I’ll fully recover. Likewise, with numerous attempts to build motivation, I have only failed time after time. This, however, marks the turning point in my life. This journey will be a full on war because I cannot keep destroying my life. I no longer want the daily physical and psychological pain that comes from addiction. I especially no longer want to live everyday in fear.
