Fasting doesn't work.. it only disciplines the flesh and even if i fast, i later find myself back to the addiction...
It's a Spiritual battle against demons or Spirits...
To be set free you just need to get Delivered from their bondages...
How I got delivered is...
I just watched a video on this pastor's RUclips channel called "Hungry Generation". It was about a lady giving her Testimony about how she got delivered from Porn and Masturbation.
And I know I was battling the same problem and praying that God should deliver me...
I tell you the Truth... I got delivered just by Watching that Video and I decided within my Spirit Never to go back again...
I think I did some prayers of deliverance after the videos as well..
And it's being 2 years now since then... I have not Masturbated neither have i knownany porn site...😊❤️
It is a thing of Great Joy...
Although those urges comes but it isn't like before anymore that I couldn't control it...
I'm able to Overcome it just by the Name of Jesus 😊❤️

I'm currently 32 years old, and I've had my first encounter with unholy images even before I was 6 years old, and I've been addicted to it ever since. I can resist for some time, but sooner later, I always give in. The enemy knows me, and I'm weak. Please pray for me.

I believe in you. Put the coffee down if you drink it, it helps the urges weaken slightly. And resist, day by day. It can be blissful from the jump, or it can suck. But it will get better. The man above notices your efforts. If you do your part he will do his and deliver you. And forgive yourself for your past because these sites were made to be addictive by demonic people. Im struggling too. But I’ve been able to slow down my usage and it’s not as bad as it once was. Hopefully we will be freed from this sooner rather than later.
Vlad said that the more he fasted, the worse things got. Derek Prince had the same experience when he was depressed. The more he fasted and prayed, the worse the depression got. It was only when he stopped blaming himself and realized that it was an actual person (demon) causing the depression, that he started to break free. And when he called on the name of the Lord, that's when he got totally delivered from the spirit of heavyness.
Fasting will make your depression worse because depression can be caused from the gut health as well as malnutrition.

As a man who has struggled with this even in a marriage, It’s more than “repent” that is a first step. He needs delivered. This thing has it’s hooks in him and he needs to be around people who do deliverance.

Please pray for me. I keep struggling with bouts of scary alcoholism. I am born again and had a long while of sobriety---now I've relapsed so many times I have lost faith in how God can love me--no matter how hard I try I keep going back. You don't have alcoholism. But if you believe you do you empower the spirit. That's the world's language. You are more than a conqueror and
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Realize, that temptation is a demon that needs to go. Once I commanded it to go and renounced it and repented and realized it was a demon and not me, I was delivered. It took a couple of weeks and no more temptation.
You could try Alcoholics Anonymous. Alot of people get sober through the 12 Step program that it offers.
AA really helped me. I now have 24 years of sobriety. Praise Jesus.

Lord helped me to overcome this issue of porn & masturbation when I started living a life of fasting & prayer. and indeed , things get worse during the initial phase of fasting. but now I am totally free, It's been almost a year Absolutely Clean :) I was engaged into that sin for I don't know how many years and I started at 6/7 YO. and I was still committing that sin even 13 years AFTER being born again. But I know now- No matter how far gone we are, Jesus can still heal us if we call for help and totally surrender to Him.
How often do you recommend we fast and how long?
Even though I knew in my heart this is a spiritual battle not the flesh. I can only say, thank you. Hearing your story makes me realize that I’m not alone. I’m seeking help on this subject. I’m a Christian with many spiritual battles but in Jesus name I rebuke any unclean spirit to leave my life. We can experience torment but we must rebuke them and let no door open for them. Thank you.
