All I did was say out loud " God, I don't want to be held down with these constant thoughts anymore" and they were gone. No more looking at random tits and ass on the internet, no more thinking about it constantly! Thank God. I was in my late forties when I realized God was real.

For instance, our landlady( who my kids call Mimi) suddenly wants us out after three years of buying the place.(Rent to own with no contract because my wife has called her Mama her entire life). She cut our wifi off( knowing we have four special needs kids who are homeschooled). We got it turned back on in our name for 20 dollars cheaper a month. God is good.
She gave us a notice to inspect two days ago so she will be here tomorrow on Mother's day weekend. She didn't put the time, so we wrote the time we would allow her in on the bottom of her note , had it notarized and gave a copy to the D.A. and one to the Chief of police. Friends of mine. God is great.

@@mrrandom7315 He's lying, the only way to stop the thoughts from coming is cut off your balls, like a eunuch made by man, it's testosterone and hormones that make you think what you think, you'll realize this when you get old enough and the testosterone level drops along with the hormones, however your desires can be controlled and they should or they can cause you to sin, winning the battle over sexual desires is when you KNOW in your heart you'll not commit adultery if your married or whoredom if you have a girlfriend, by the way you can't commit whoredom with your girlfriend, whoredom means having more than one lover but girlfriends and boyfriends already know this in their hearts because God has written it on their hearts, something else that needs to be said here, our thoughts are the proof that sin=evil exist inside of us, everyone has them=evil thoughts, no one alive in a human body will ever be able to stop them, sin is more than just adultery as far as evil thoughts, it's only after we die we won't be able to think no evil thoughts, we will be changed, what we can do now is control the thoughts and not let them cause us to sin, self love is not sin if your single and focusing on a single woman and not a married one however you could be thinking whoredom if you have a girlfriend but still, no one will be judged based on their thoughts, only their actions, on judgement day the one's that didn't let their thoughts cause them to sin will be praised and believe me, Jesus said even the hidden thoughts of man's hearts will be revealed, in everyone, in this we are all sinners and in this no one will be able to boast and actually in this we will see who all the liars are
Good word. As a married man though I can say with 100% assurance that getting married will not satisfy your lusts. You will need to do work on yourself to bring that part of your sin nature under control BEFORE you get married. It isn’t something you do not want in your marriage.
I think marriage helps if you let it not become your savior. I fight against lust daily, but I tell myself I am looking for a partner. That’s a big justification for me. I pray for a spouse so that I can remove that burden of seeking. I will then have no excuse left to look with lust. Its different for everyone though
I’ve been praying for a partner for quite a while now and nothings really came from it. As I have matured over the years I realised, it’s not just a partner I should be praying for it should be a someone who wants to be obedient to The Father, and that will bring me a relationship that will please and glorify God.

Now listen brother you're in the best relationship of your life right now because you are in a relationship with God and there will be no other love than God's love. Once you understand that and accept that, all will come right into your path. Love is patient. Stop looking and start living.

@@lucyaliero212I’m in your situation too. I feel that we just need to pray, pray, and pray. God is good, and if we continue to realize that, we will eventually start to draw away from that. I need to do this too. I’ve stopped for the most of it, but there’s just some times where I can’t help myself. I go back into the deep and dark caves that I used to live in. But I think that if we just trust in God that he will eventually bring us a spouse, and that we can stop looking at the opposite gender like this, we will eventually start to get purified. We will start to walk away, and eventually not like looking at people this way. I’ll be praying that you, me, and everyone else will be able to turn to God, and to trust in Him that He will deliver us from our sinful nature. God bless you 🙏

Jesus please continue to give me the strength to keep supporting myself and my two autistic children. Because I’m losing hope. My boys require so much from me because they are non verbal. Due to them having many issues in school, I’m homeschooling them. I’m a single mother. These past two years since covid have been hard on me. I lost my job at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I have heart disease and I suffer from lupus that’s the major reason why I declined the vaccine. I’m waitressing and I’m grateful but I’m not making enough to make ends meet. Bills are piling up and I can barely afford groceries for my children. I feel like a failure. Every month is a struggle, and now that I’m homeschooling them my schedule is limited. I’m so overwhelmed and ashamed. But God gives me strength. I get harassed and bullied on this app for sharing my testimony and for asking for prayers but prayers are all I NEED. As christians we must have compassion towards one another so please be kind I’m already feeling defeated. BUT! Even as I struggle! I keep faith in God. He is the God of possible! I HAVE FAITH HE WILL PROVIDE! He has this far. THANK YOU JESUS! I will only trust in GOD!
May God guide you and help you to trust Him in your struggles. He loves you.

Wow, just wow. I’ve struggled with lust for so long and have watched so many videos where people are giving advice to basically “control” it, and those videos are great actually!! But as someone who has a very strong desire to get married I’ve never heard anybody say to be intentional about it and to put yourself out there. It made me realize how complacent I’ve been- just waiting for God to send me someone without doing much work, even though faith without work is dead. This really reasonated with me! Thank God for your ministry❤

Man this is great! I just got engaged and I’ve always struggled with lust. My fiancé knows this and she’s been working it out with me. She’s walked by me always and she no matter what always wanted to marry me and watching this it clicked. It’s hard cause we want to get married now but were saving up for everything. I have to keep honoring the Lord and her in this walk.
Please don’t wait just because your saving up. If you love your fiancé and you want to get married now and the only thing holding you up is saving up please just get married. You can do an intimate ceremony. Get married at city hall maybe. It can still be special.And then you can have a big ceremony later on if you want! Where you can celebrate with loved ones. A lot of people wait because they want to wait to get their funds in order, or maybe reach a new level in their career and they never end up being ready because they’re focused on achieving material things things. I don’t know your exact situation and I’m not judging you at all. But I see a lot of people struggle with this. But don’t just listen to me, pray on it and ask God what you should do!
@@alexandria2925 I agree and that’s what we want to do. No big wedding until we’re ready. We have talked about doing pretty much that and we’re on board. We have a couple classes left of school and we’re probably gonna do it. I mean I’d do it now but I think praying about it more and seeing where God is leads us is the important thing. Leave it all in his hands.

I’ve been struggling with this for a while now and it sucks and I have been a bit distant from God and positivity in the past few days and I’m not proud of it but I want you all to know that with God and with a positive environment anything is possible I pray to God that everyone overcomes this and any other addiction and any other negative situation amen❤️❤️
This really helped me a lot. I struggled with this, with my ex boyfriend. I thought “one day we will” and of course that wasn’t the case. I still feel shame, but this helped me so much. Thank you so much. Amen! Praise Him!

Was clean for a week, then felt like i was just doing it through my own strength instead of trusting God, felt like I'd fail eventually anyways and fell back into it :(. Hopefully this video helps, I want to get rid of this burden and shame so bad
Trust in the lord I was in the same situation I would fall back into porn but when I put all my trust in the lord the thoughts of lust and porn and the urge when away god changed my life after that I will never be the same I can never stop thanking him enough for what he did in my life I pray that he will do the same to you as he has done in my life
remember, as a follower of Christ, you have the Holy Spirit in you. You are a temple of the Holy Spirit, and as a act of reverence and honor, we must have respect for the bodies God has given us.
surrender and confess "urges" and "desires" to Him, and ask Him to give you the eyes to see women and sisters and mothers and men as brothers and fathers. the battle doesn't belong to us when we invite God into our mess and we ask Him to uproot the roots of lust in our heart (Matt 5:27-30)

Hmmm...I get this. I do. But I can't help but to feel like this just puts a bandaid on the issue? Having a spouse does provide an outlet to quench those desires. But what about people who marry and still struggle with porn addiction? Or just lust in general? A spouse does not automatically cure a lustful spirit. I feel like it's important to also seek God about the roots of why we lust (was it something from childhood? are we feeling like we're alone? is there something in us that feels starved?). We can also still pray for a spouse and put ourselves out there, but it would be wise to do that inner work first. Marriage in itself is already a hard test, and I personally would not feel okay with bringing my lust issues to it.

I have been praying this for years, been on dating apps, church groups and nothing. I am praying about it, this is harder than it seems.Don't want to be single but sometimes God wants to isolate us first so we can overcome this and saying marriage is the key doesn't fix a lust problem. The key to defeating lust is to feed your Spirit more than your flesh, submit to God and resist the devil. It's a daily battle. Know the more you feed your flesh the stronger it becomes. Feed your spirit the Word and don't ever give up.

If you are still struggling even after this video. Please consider SAA. I tried for 15 years to stop my addiction to pron and then I lost hope and spoke to someone in bible study one day, (she was in AA); and she got me into SAA. I now have 4 years sober. IT'S POSSIBLE!!! What this guy is saying is true, and the AA big book explains it more in detail about how you can yield to God, this book breaks down what the Bible talks about so you can take actionable faith steps. Don't be afraid of it or the people in the program. Jesus is with you and he can use this as well. Also, don't be afraid of "higher power." the Big book was written by a group of christian men and it was also meant for those searching for God or who don't believe in a God.

Hey Alex, I have been watching your videos for a while now and I really enjoy your content! I just feel like I need to get something off of my chest. I am currently 18 years old and I am dating an amazing girl who has two awesome parents and she loves the Lord. Part of me feels like she is the one that God has for me but then another part of me has doubts that she might not be the one. I find myself becoming deeply worried that I am doing the wrong thing by dating because she might not be the one that God has for me. Then I often think about how devastating a break up would be if I did break up with her and how that would create a deep cut into both of us. I just don't really know what to do and I am struggling to find peace in God's plan for my life because all I truly and deeply want to do is live my life fully for Jesus. Hey bro I know the struggle between wanting to be obedient to God and figuring out His will when it comes to finding a spouse. I've gone through it for two years and what I have come to realize is that God is not in the business of pairing up people who would make cute married couples. He is more interested in you and your girlfriend's heart. Given that you both have the desire to unite and be with each other for the rest of your lives, the God I find in the Bible is interested in helping people be good spouses to each other. I recently learned this: God's will is about showing people how-to live-in harmony, not to disrupt beautiful relationships with hypothetical preoccupations. Praying for you man @malachiveillon2116

I need to confess that I gave in to lust today. I told myself I wouldn’t do the deed again (self pleasure with or without visual stimulation) but I gave in. I didn’t even enjoy it, and immediately after I repented. I still feel guilty. I know my purpose is to go out and preach like Jesus says in Mark 16:15. I need to confess, to the body of believers. If you feel led to, I ask that you pray for me and if you have any words for me I would appreciate them very much.

Prayed to god a few months ago asking for a spouse. I was shocked he actually presented me with a girl as I’m only 15 years old. He showed me this amazing girl, polite, beautiful. But god also told me to wait, that I’m not ready yet. Please ask god for signs so that you know exactly what he wants you to do. Even if you’re too young, god is always working in the background and knows what you need.

Keep praying everyday, you have some sort of conviction because you WANT to do something about your hardened heart. Only Jesus can change you, and remember the Holy Spirit dwells in you. Keep praying everyday
Rhea was spot on. I've been in your position too and looking back, it was a moment of rebellion for me (idk what it is yours so you'll have to pour yourself out on a prayer with God). He knows everything already and He had enough mercy to call u (and me). He will have mercy, still. For now, just don't take your honesty for granted.. I'll be rooting for you (and u know I'm not the only one) ☺️
