From where is your blue jacket from @Gent.z
Hockerty@@antonmanuelgonzalezsundewa3194
@Gent.z it's a really nice coat. Do you have more details is it a field coat, color, etc? Thanks advance
Thank you! It's a Safari jacket from Hockerty and you can get it here. You'll need to change the fabric type to linen (royal blue) if you want the same color as mine. www.hockerty.com/en-us/men/safari-jacket/personalize@@darrenjones5533
Its his body mainly that makes the clothes look good rather than the clothes themselves
His body is ESSENTIAL to looking as good as he does, absolutely. But he could also ruin the benefits of his physique if he did not show if off with good style
Absolutely. There is nothing like fit, proportionate body. It takes a lifetime of fitness to have that body. Then it’s just the matter of picking clothes that emphasize it
@@DimitriTheBarbarian I don't think it really takes a lifetime, if you've got a skinny or skinny fat physique, you could look good within 2-5 years of working out, depending on your genetics.
@@madcyborg1822 I mean lifetime to maintain this physique
Ryan Reynolds has been spied wearing a great green suede jacket you could look into! ⚡️
Very important point you made about the skin tone, people almost never talk about this.
Thank you! It’s very important
I think it has become a no go due to cultural sensitivity in the media. Some tones just rock clothing color better does not mean different tones cannot wear such color.
My Indian mother spoke constantly about the proper tones when I was kid (I grew up in the US), so much so I just assumed it common knowledge and that people of different colors understood that certain colors work for some groups but not others. But yes, most people do not pay attention to this.
@@g.shumway5925 Americans are trying to hide their grossly overweight bodies under baggy clothes. That is why it seems like people here dress like shit. Forget about colors.
But if you are fit like Mr Craig - the sky is the limit, you truly can make yourself a highly visible man through clothes that emphasize your physique, match skin tone, hair color, built, proportions, etc etc
It’s not sensitivity, the media is just antiWhite.
I love how you put the links to the clothes in the description
You got a new fan for life with this video alone brother. Cheers!
That means a lot to me, thank you, Josh!
He looks much better in elegant style every day
Love this one. Interesting topic well explored. Thanks
Thank you!
I totally agree with you. Well done. Btw your outfit looks great
Thanks Darby!
Happy to say ive been implementing these tips for a long time now. Chukkas have been awesome, have the Sunspel polo which was well worth the price
Sounds like you're already pretty stylish without needing to take cues from Mr Bond ;)
Remember context is important. A polo at the super market is fine not at the Westend or at a party.
Oh of course@@Art-is-craft
99% of clothes look good on a person is his masculinity and muscle size.
What a great video. Really liked the message from this.
Thanks!
I agree. Craig's casual style is on point, but surely the work of the costume designer on set. I like your jacket (close the left button on the chest pocket/ never sit with a closed jacket (the open gap under the button looks awkward), but I would get rid of the plug in air condition (sometimes it look like the cable goes into your head. And the green paint need some touch up.
Oh, of course this is the work of the costume designer in reality. Although Craig does have decent style himself too! Oh this is an Airbnb, I’m on vacation now 😅
I love your jacket.. could you please tell me the name of the brand or post a link here ?
Thank you for the great video.
You're welcome! Thank you for the comment
Ryan Reynolds has been spotted in a great green suede jacket you should look into. You could do a breakdown of his style the last couple of years. Great everyday style ⚡️
Does anyone know the brand of chukka that are shown? Thx
Good video, I personally can recommmend RGT's Tan Cordroy Supply jacket if Tan Suede is very expensive for someone. suede chuckka boots is something i need to get! :)
I’m enjoying your videos. I’m a big bond fan. May suggest you do a video on oceans 11,12,and 13? I really like their style. I’d be interested in your thoughts about it.
I just love this dark navy color. Its just so understated elegance and in my opinion way better than black
Oh yes, I totally agree. I don't even own anything in black, actually
I liked the black cardigan outfit in Casino Royale, when Vesper is sleeping. You’re right about Navy though, it’s underrated.

What is there blue safari jacket you are wearing in your video? Thanks.
It’s from Hockerty. You’ll need to customize the design a little to get it looking like mine but they have an online tool you can use. Let me know if you want me to tell you the exact steps I did
Excellent video!
Thanks Marty! Another Bond video coming soon
I agree with chukka boots. I bought a pair of Chelsea boots a couple years ago and they felt feminine. They’ve been collecting dust in the top of my closet for several years after being worn less than 6 times.
Haha. Personally I prefer Chelseas but I do agree that Chukkas have a more rugged and masculine appeal. So do any lace up leather or suede boots, in my opinion
Funny to hear that. Here in Australia rm williams Chelsea boot are a staple from business men to cowboys and ringers, those guys are as tough as a coffin nail. Never looked at them as femine.
Great vid- i like a bit of panache . i agree with u 100 % for Bond , I'm a big Miami Vice fan, Cocaine Cowboys so just a little of that suits me. Merry Christmas
Yes, I love Bond’s style but personally I like to dress a bit more flamboyantly too. Merry Christmas!
What color pant is craig wearing with navy polos, sir??
That’s pretty hard to describe, it’s kind of a grey, khaki, mauve. But the brand is Brunello Cucinelli! I hope that helps
Is that a Roger Moore influenced safari jacket one is wearing?
Mr Lazenby? Orange ski suit & full kilt outfit. Or Mr Brosnan & his long overcoats? Mr Moore ( as Bond) exiting JFK adding gloves to an exquisite outfit?
It is indeed a safari jacket! I guess you could call it a subtle nod to Roger Moore ;) Pierce Brosnan was a very stylish Bond. I have not seen all his Bond movies though
Subscribed, Very good channel. Articulate and straight to the point. On a sidenote alot of Craigs wardrobe for his 007 films was based on the style and clothing of the late great Steve McQueen (Thomas Crown etc) Merry Xmas :)
Thank you, kindly! That’s a very interesting point. McQueen had incredible casual style and quite a few of my viewers have asked for a style breakdown on him too
Completely made sense. I am re-doing my wardrobe and recently got me suede Chukka boots and Derbys. :D
Nice choices!
can you do a video based on hairstyling , how do you style you hair . Anyways great content brother 🙂
Thank you! It's funny you ask because I felt like my hair was pretty bad in this video 😂 but sure. And, actually, in a video I filmed yesterday, I talk about the hair products I use

I went to watch it with my mom and we both cried 😅😅

I cried because the movie was so awful.
Every Bond was 'stylish' in the period the movie was made. Looking back it's hard to choose between Connery and Craig 😎
That it’s true, but I agree Connery and Craig are both my favorite Bonds and seem the most stylish through the lens of our current time
Not Roger Moore except in uniform. Brosnan in Brioni looked fantastic but Craig looks good
Connery and Craig nailed the Casual Bond Aesthetic. Good style is effortless and timeless. They both wore the Old Money style before anyone else truly knew what that meant. Connery’s Goldfinger⚜️ look is still the epitome of Business and Casual Bond Style. Craig a close second. Loved his look in SPECTER👻
@@lisaroberts8556 very well said, Lisa! I’m very grateful to Daniel Craig for reviving the franchise and getting young men like me interested in going back and watching the classic Bond movies
There's a scene in Casino Royale, where he arrives in the Bahamas in a grey linen suit, under which he is wearing a casual (collared) short-sleeve shirt, but it is still a button down, not a polo
I thought that was an interesting choice. Generally a short sleeve shirt with a suit is something a well dressed man would avoid, in my opinion.
Wested Leather make a pretty good replica of the suede jacket for under £300
Hey, any chance you could list your fit in the video?
Yeah sure, I’m wearing an Oxford shirt by J Crew, and a safari jacket by Hockerty
Your hair looks insane. I don't know whether it is the lighting but I have never seen hair so 3d.
It's called gay
Gap factory polo, (any basic polo or even a short sleeve henley) Dark gray khaki, Boondocker service boot pro - color fudge. Thats the basic look when Bond went to the Americana hotel
Don’t forget to have the broad shoulders and big arms to pull the look off. Your physic matters greatly.
Your jacket / coat might be the best thing in the entire video.
Thank you!
The best suits, polos, trousers are from two first Bond movies Sean Connery was much more sartorial dresser then Daniel Craig.
Sean Connery gray charcoal suit is one of the best I saw in cinema with the blue suit that a Michael Cain use too wear in Get Carter.
I'm considering a video on Sean Connery's Bond style, let me know if you'd like to see that!
Craig’s suits are terrible.
There's one Bond and that Sean Connery his movies paid attention to Ian Flemings' concept not flogging so-called luxury brands...
Most stylish Bond? It's got to be Sean Connery. Craig's Bond dresses so closely to Connery's Bond that his look is almost vintage though Craig's wardrobe is a little too close to the body for my taste. I'd love to see a video on how to emulate that vintage look while at the same time avoiding looking costumy.
Where is your blue jacket from?
It’s from Hockerty. I tweaked the design a bit myself to add the belt and choose the petrol blue linen
@@Gent.Z I really like this jacket, and wanting to get the same one. So I went to the Hockerty’s site and chose the Field Jacket to customize. But I don’t see the Petrol Blue Linen and rather I only see Navy Blue Linen and Royal Blue Linen on their site. Can you tell me the exact fabric and color you chose, please.
@@mohammedsohail484 if you watch this shorts video I show you exactly what I did :) ruclips.net/user/shortsM5_CkjucS7I?si=V6XZwEiTkQ609l2P
No mention of that fabulous Barbour jacket from Skyfall?
Most Stylish Bond "Sean Connery"!!!!
Definitely my second favorite Bond
Look at Steve McQueen’s dress style as a guide to Bond’s casual styling.
Not a fan of navy blue polo shirts. Lighter colours work better on a hot day, I think. The suede blouson jacket? Like that.
James Bond is the definition of Old Money Fashion for Men.
I tried looking up the pieces the stylist found for him but everything was insanely expensive. But the color scheme point is doable.
I agree the actual clothes are very expensive and honestly a little overpriced in some cases. But the styles are also nothing out of the ordinary so it would be easy to replicate on a budget
@@Gent.Z im definitely working on it. The black sweater in no time to die is great
@@thespacesbetweenstudio3346 yes it is!
Bond did not wear a black sweater in No Time To Die @@thespacesbetweenstudio3346
While I love what Bond wears there are two things that will make it difficult to look as good as him is 1: it is tailored to his body 2 his body, it's amazing.
They are both vitally important! But Daniel Craig is much shorter than average, which many men would consider a disadvantage - so he deserves credit there too
@@Gent.Z good point!
Great job, not just fluff. Other action male protagonists will earn a subscription from me.
Thank you! I would love to hear if you have any suggestions too
But when suede gets wet?
Do I video on james bond connery bond for style
Would love to! That’s a good suggestion, thank you
Not sure about his wrist watches recommendations
Hands down Craig the best dressed bond!! Ever since I've saved up for Sunspel, TF, Omega 300 and now I'm broke af :(
I agree! Hahaha, well at least you can be broke but stylish ;)
He most certainly is not the best dressed Bond. His style maybe more in line with your tastes.
@@Art-is-craftHis suits are awful, they don’t fit right. Kind of crazy that they didn’t use an English tailor for a British spy.
@@SR-ob3wn
I would not say they are awful but no we’re near the traditional levels in previous bonds.
@@Art-is-craft They don’t fit properly. I don’t care if Tom Ford is a top designer, if you are wearing the wrong size Tom Ford suit, it looks like crap on you. The skin tight suits that you can barely move in actually betrays the whole purpose behind high end tailoring - suits are supposed to be comfortable to wear.
Bro, are you wearing a short-sleeve shirt in this video? ;) Speaking of style...
My mistake has been trying to dress like Auric Goldfinger. Bond is a paid civil servant, with a taste for luxury and a preference for the bachelor life, albeit he was married once and is technically a widower. When I spoke with the lone Bond, George Lazenby, his style for Bond was much more formal, than Daniel Craig, an excellent Bond.
Pierce Brosnan was the elegant Bond. Lazenby comes in second, and Craig, who is really the best Bond, as an actor, a very close third.
Seiko was a Bond watch in the 70s Roger Moore era. The Casio Duro was worn by a Bond Villian, Bill Gates, but the new smaller Casio Duro just released is not good replacement imho.
Do an analysis of Bond Villains and start with the Craig Bond era.
Even though Bond is almost a caricature like character, I wonder how many men try to emulate him, his demeanor, especially his clothing.
I ! Am the most stylish bond ever ! 😁
Interesting, You point out great classics looks and a 17 year old movie proves you are correct. tHanks for the video
Thank you! It is easy to forget how old Casino Royale is from his clothing. The use of a Sony Erikson is probably the biggest giveaway 😂
Have a wonderful evening and a happy Christmas @@Gent.Z
@@Dancing_Alone_wRentals merry Christmas!
Well then, where is your jacket from?
It's from Hockerty
my Favorite Bond is Craig. A Lot more realistic
Same. I think he updated the character in the most perfect way
As fantastic as Bond is, it's better to dress and have your own style loosely based on him if you choose to, to be fair, anything, and I mean anything James Bond wears is going to be a style everyone is aiming for and That's Hollywood for you.
Everyone in this comment section seems to forget Pierce Brosnan's Euro casual and business style...
for some reason my post was deleted which I find strange
I have sometimes had people say their comments got deleted. I never get to see their comments so I don’t know why, but I think RUclips filters out certain words
@@Gent.Z all I did is put a link to Royale filmwear. check it out. this guy makes dead on accurate replicas of Bond Clothing. I have several jackets. excellent quality. David at the Bond experience promotes them and does videos on his cloths
For me Daniel Craig's
Actually, it's quality over quantity. I realized that after buying my first Ralph Lauren after using cheap brands such as Zara and Selected. Now I only have a handful of shirts and another handful of t-shirts and polos. I'd renew my wardrobe again with under 30 pieces of clothing when I can afford to start purchasing Loro Piana.
Another thing is watches. Never buy a cheap watch. A watch is an extension to a man's ego and self-esteem. Buy at least a Tudor or Tag Heuer if you are not able to get a JLC or Rolex yet.
I'm speaking honestly through my own experience. You will feel like a grown up man with great responsibility when the garment and watch are worth the value.
I agree with quality of quantity absolutely. I had to completely restart my wardrobe a few months ago and follow this principle.
I do have to politely disagree with you on the watches. A Seiko will be great quality and look very stylish. Although a Tag is more high quality, it does not retain value well, so it’s a lot of money sunk into a depreciating asset that is less noticeable than, for example, a bespoke suit.
I'm not really a Bond fan. In fact, when I see the clips from :13 to :17 , he's trying too hard with his posing. He looks bad-ass, sure, but he doesn't look so natural.
By the way, I like your video on Bryan Ferry. Roxy Music was avant-garde. Duran Duran was definitely influenced.
Interesting to hear your perspective on Bond. There is an element of the movies that is a little try-hard and it actually wasn't until 2021's No Time To Die that I became interested in the franchise and started going back and watching the old movies.
Thank you! Yes Duran Duran was for sure inspired by Ferry as many other musicians have been. I love that era of British music
Davi C casual look doesn’t match the Sean Connery.Remember his look in blue John Smedley.Timeless .
Don't forget tailoring that's just a little too tight!
"How to Dress Casual Like James Bond" - be rich so you can afford a 1000 usd jacket and a 5k omega. nailed it!!
In the video, I suggested affordable alternatives for the products. So just because the actor wore expensive clothes (which were certainly provided for free) it doesn't mean you need a big budget to accurately replicate the loos
Unless you walk with royalty, nobody will know the difference between 200 and 2000-dollar jacket.
This video could have been two-times longer, and still not do justice to the topic, for Craig's Bond only! 👍
I love Bond, and I’m informed by his style, but never wear chukka boots - they’re just causal. It’s not 1940 North Africa..
The most stylish James Bond to me was Roger Moore. Not to forget his sense of humor.
Yes, he was both stylish and witty! And he had a great speaking voice too
I realize this is off topic, but I get infuriated whenever I see DC Bond wearing a shirt tucked in with no jacket, because frankly there is no place he could be carrying his gun in any safe manner. No, he isn't wearing a freaking ankle holster, or shoving a pocket holster into his trouser pocket. I have had to carry a firearm 24-7 in my career for over two decades, and if you can see my belt, there is a jacket of some type on my back. If there's no jacket, its a tailored sport shirt, polo, or even a sweater covering my entire belt. There's no other way to dress if you have to carry a gun that can be expediently drawn safely and efficiently with a proper grip prior to weapon presentation. Must be nice to be able to produce equipment out of thin air like Bugs Bunny in a cartoon, I'll have to learn that, lol. The tight-waisted modern fit jackets crack me up as well, the button is screaming already on DC's tiny frame, there is absolutely no weapon under that.
There’s also no way he’s a secret agent or that bad guys like in bond movies really exist. You’re meant to suspend disbelief while watching a movie. Not get infuriated. That kind of defeats to purpose of entertainment.
Though it is a movie character. And we never see any of these characters use a toilet. They obviously need to use one time to time. But DC Bond doesn't always wear a gun. I don't think he is always in dangerous situations that require a gun. In Casino Royale, he had the gun held in a packaged envelope. Many of his fights are hand to hand.
@@jswede1 Well, respectfully, I can feel any way I wish. I read the books when I was very young, before seeing many of the movies, and the realistic details in the earlier novels before Fleming started writing with movies and TV shows in mind were a large part of the enjoyment, (even if there were technical flaws like carrying a Walther in a Bern-Martin shoulder holster that can only hold a revolver because it grips the cylinder), right down to the details of the food, the clothes, the liquor, the violence, the locations. No one was committing world genocide, they were spies, terrorists and drug dealers. Look at the difference between Casino Royale (novel based) and NTTD, (Hollywood formula script). One bad guy is an arms dealer, the other is developing a smart virus to eliminate races of humans from existence. So, for me, even Goldfinger was a shark-jump. (Yeah, Fleming wrote it, I didn't say he never went Hollywood himself) Anyhow, ONLY Daniel Craig wears clothes that can't conceal a gun, the one item cinematic 007 always has on him. (novel Bond knows he can't fly into countries with guns and gadgets, so he procures a weapon or weapons after he arrives, and uses many different guns for this reason) Connery always had a jacket or sport shirt over his waistband, so did Moore with his suits and Safari shirts. Dalton and Brosnan the same. Daniel Craig got 100% involved in personally marketing his look through clothing brands of his choosing, something that was never allowed the other actors, and he created a new brand and product, I get it. But it's kind of a technical glitch that they let him have for his look.
@@mrcrhartmanno he didn’t. www.primermagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/Bond_6-e1492535538235.jpg
@@soyELkuko Not sure the toilet thing relates to a character whose use of a concealed pistol is a key modus operandi of his base character. He's supposed to be an armed professional. Every other Bond wore appropriate clothing to carry the gun. I get the idea that he might not always carry...but why dress differently to telegraph it? Well, these films became the Daniel Craig marketing show for Sunspel and N Peal and a bunch of other companies Craig partnered with, and that's cool, I have some Sunspel polos myself...I just never get to tuck them in.
1. Have a body and face like Daniel Craig
2. Put a bloody piece of clothing on
Lol I agree, he has one of a kind, very masculine face. You can’t fix face. Although it does change if you become more athletic.
But you definitely can build a body like his. Takes time though
if you're paying $145 for a golf shirt to look casual, you've lost the thread.
While it is expensive, it is worth it to some given the quality of the materials used
You mean the STYLIST….
Daniel Craig is not James Bond. He is Jason Bourne wants to be like James Bond
Casino Royale was excellent IMO, stayed very close to the book. All the rest of his movies have few characteristics of the Bond character.
craig did nothing ever
a screen slave
I will never understand the appeal of the polo shirt. There is no reason to wear one other than playing polo. Or, maybe, tennis.
It’s a smarter version of a t shirt, elevates your style between a T-shirt and a shirt. Maybe slightly more acceptable in a nice restaurant or a cocktail bar in a hotel.
Why are you indoors dressed like you pilot a submarine?
The first word out of your mouth was “So” Why? Didn’t listen to any more, that was enough.
Gimme a break Craig is no Bond.. Brosnan was the last great classy Bond.. 👎🏽
I'm a big fan of both. I'll be posting a video on Pierce Brosnan's Bond style later this week
@@Gent.Z I just can't dig Craig's image, looks and style. It lacks that sophistication and elegance shared by nearly all previous Bond actors.
Nothing special about the clothes. It’s the character that gives life to the clothes. You put the same clothes on a corporate slave and he will still look like a corporate slave.
His look is very understated, but it is more sophisticated and well executed than the outfits worn by 99% of men
Maybe, but still it’s the actor and character. Clothes wise it’s just a well fitted suit. Again you put this on a corporate slave and he still looks like a corporate slave. Maybe a well dressed corporate slave.
Why what is a corporate slave?
Sitting inside wearing a trench, whats wrong with you?
It’s not a trench coat, it’s a safari jacket, made of linen
Mustache is very distracting and weird looking. Either shave it off or grow it fully.
What a depressing background to a video setting - a white wall and a dangling wire.
JFC,… what a bunch of meaningless bullshit
This man is so boring I bet he is single.
