Yeah. I was always annoyed as a kid when people wanted me to plan out my dream wedding. I couldn’t imagine it at all. Like dude, I can’t even imagine the next 5 years how do you want me to plan one day 20 years from now. Then finding out as an adult that kids brains are underdeveloped and they see process how to anticipate the future until about the age of 25 just makes me even more unhappy about all the adults in my life who pressured me to look ahead. Because we aren’t allowed to ask kids to do that nowdays, so they should not have been allowed to do that to us back then. In the end, my husband and I ended up eloping in the tiniest wedding ever at his pastor’s house with 5 people. Literally my husband his pastor, me my mom, and the pastor’s wife. My mom and the pastor’s wife signed the marriage certificate as the two witnesses. There were no cakes, flowers or anything like that. So I am really glad that I never planned out an elaborate wedding as a kid because it never would have happened anyway. 🤷♀️
It's nice to look at but what about the taste?? That looks like the most plain cake i have seen in my entire life. The amount of raspberry filling or whatever that was in there is pathetic
I don’t think any baker has ever made and delivered enough wedding cakes to not be nervous about it lol You just gotta do your best and be a little extra cautious. Everything will turn out okay in the end!
Florist here- looks like your greenery is Italian pittosporum. So it's not deadly like something like Oleander or Poinsettia, but it can cause stomach upset in some people. I normally use silk greenery or the greens from the edible blooms in my cake toppers, because misidentification is so easy when you're just buying a handful of "floral greenery" from the wholesaler. I might even be wrong leaving this comment 😅
