I used to work at the River Restaurant and I have to say I'm glad they had a really nice time. The team there is fantastic. If you're looking for really good fish, I really do recommend going and having their specials. Dover Sole is incredible and their cocktails are pretty great too even if you just want to sit at the bar and have a nice time with some oysters.

I truly loved this. I got to see a side of gordon I never did before; I honestly never knew he cared so much about education and I love it. In the army we say, an expert turns into a mentor, and mentor turns into an advocate. Chef Ramsey really seems like hes elevated to advocate status.
Honestly you see him talk about it often if you watch his stuff extensively. He’s very vocal about the advancement of culinary culture and the importance of both mentor and student, the grit you have to have AS a chef but also the humility to learn from even those you might not consider “on your level”. Gordon takes no shit because he knows how hard the culinary world is, what food means to people and wants to see it flourish in every way.
@RayneBeauRhode Youre absolutely right. Im not a huge foodie and Really only knew about gordon through memes and stuff. So having this moment to be more educated about him is really great. thank you!
I loved watching him on MasterChef Junior. He never talked down to the kids and always expected them to try hard things, but he was super kind and funny with them as well. And it was also fun seeing him with his daughter when she would make an appearance, the same kind of attitude with her.
We ate at petrus when I was very pregnant with my first child and while the food was delicious, I was overall even more impressed with the hospitality, the accommodations, and just the overall ambiance. I've never felt more welcomed to a restaurant and while we spent $500 on a meal for two of us, it's genuinely an experience I will never forget
I know you’re mainly doing out of the kitchen videos whilst you’re getting the new one sorted, but I hope you continue to do more. They’re a great format
When you see Gordon doing what he does, establishing restaurants that are proving grounds for the next generation of chefs, the people whom he has trained up (some may not love him, but respect him), you get a profound appreciation for a man who is giving back to the industry that made him.
Super excited to see you guys out and about again doing food reviews and restaurant reviews. Love the throwbacks like remote control. Keep it up Sorted Team :)
I ate at Restaurant Gordon Ramsey on Royal Hospital Road for my graduation back in 2011. It was the most insane experience, the food was only surpassed by the service. If you looked around you didn't spot any staff, but if you so much as thought about needing something they appeared to materialise out of thin air and know what you wanted. Honestly a once in a lifetime experience.
well trained service staff is such an underrated thing and i think people tend to forget how much of a skill job this is. good service is a craft and the fact that we are used to think of service as a low wage low skill job in most contexts is just... wild!

Cuddles are very important to the lads. In their Under the Cloche interview, Mike remembered how he diffused a heated situation between him and Jamie by giving Jamie a cuddle. Now, I can see where some people might say that in a place of business that might not be appropriate. If you notice when they travel they all make a point of not only looking at the staff in the eye but also interacting with them and trying to make everyone comfortable. As comfortable as you can be with a camera going at least. Service workers get their share of stick from the public so it must be a breath of fresh air to have the Sorted boys rock up ready to appreciate the food, the staff and the whole experience. What better way to show appreciation than with a cuddle? Loved this video. More out and about in London please.

They were so shocked to be recognized.😂 Perhaps the fact that it was pre-arranged and they just happened to have a camera crew trailing along behind them gave her a subtle clue.
I remember when you guys were going on the Lost and Hungry tour with the Today Show and thought that would be peak Sorted. Now you're cooking with Prince William and rubbing elbows with Gordon Ramsay. Love watching this channel grow and grow.
Gordon Ramsey used to have a "gastro"pub in Chiswick. I went once. The food was mid at best with an unjustified mark up, and the only ale on draft was Pride. Given the quality of the competition in the neighborhood, it's no surprise it shut down in short order. Trading off your name isn't going to work where people have ample better and in some cases better and cheaper options.
This. Was. AMAZING!!! Honestly, this has to be one of the best videos you guys have made! The cinematography, the subject, actually meeting Gordon Ramsay?! Absolutely epic!! I'm loving this new format, along side the rest of your videos, and I can't wait to see what else you guys have in store!
Great episode! It’s nice to see people review Gordon and be positive. I met him back in his kitchen nightmares days in the Us and he was fantastic it’s rather refreshing to see positive reviews as it seems to be a going theme for people to try and knock him down
Tall Poppy Syndrome, as I believe the Aussies call it. One way or the other he's been knocking it out of the park for decades, I don't think a few trolls will make him lose any sleep.
I really like this concept, it’s good to see you guys out of the studio getting some fresh air. And getting Gordon Ramsey himself on tape at the end was a great way to close the day
This has such incredible production value, the pacing is perfect, and it’s really interesting. It’s videos like this that make me marvel that RUclips is still free!
Many, many years ago, I was in the UK, and the best fish & chips I ever had was out of a hole in the wall in a little town called Mallaig in Scotland. I followed my nose down an alley to a literal hole (window) in a wall and got my fish & chips wrapped in newspaper and sat on a bench by the harbour to eat it. I have never had fish & chips so good in the 40 year since.
And you never will, because that experience is now indelibly stamped. Which isn't to say that your memory is tricking you - it's just hard for anyone else to compete with that.
Im surprised you havent gotten Gordon on before this with all that you do. 😊 Baz is so adorable with his cuddles. 😄 as a non brit its so STRANGE to see people escort you all the way to the restrooms.
i read once that the two places fooderies let themselves down is the loos and desert menu. For me ice-cream only puddings is like being punched in the face, i have paid £45+ for a main and the puddings come from wilco, yet i went to a Lebanese place most expensive main £15 and puddings all made in the restaurant , the loos were really clean and supplied too (i dont use hand dryers)
I genuinely always enjoy your videos, but this one was just exceptional. Getting to peek around at the river and scenery was such a treat in combination with great food talk.
What a video! What an incredible change from watching the boys Hell’s Kitchen parody to them professionally reviewing his restaurants! I hope to see more of these in the future ❤️ Also the restroom review had me in stitches 😭

This video was a Barry idea? It feels like a Barry Idea... The kind of idea were at the start he should thought... "Mmmm Ramsay will be around, I wonder if I can make something to get a cuddle from him"
Went to a Bread St kitchen at St Paul's a good while ago, left highly disappointed, ordered a king crab omelette that wasn't seasoned. Asked for salt and explained that there was no seasoning in the omelette. No apology and plonked the salt on the table, then left. Was lovely once I'd salted it but...so when I'm in London now zero chance of me going back to one of his places. Really enjoy these review videos, more please as we haven't had a low medium or high budget one for a while. Love the channel and thanks guys.
Gordon really is a sweet human. He just takes what he does seriously and passionately. I love that Baz got a cuddle. All of the food looked amazing. Love you guys and look forward to the next video. We do need a Mike video now since we had Jamie and Kush and now Baz and Ebbers. 😊

How can I give this video more than one thumb up? I laughed so hard for the entire length of the vid. Ben, as always thank you for the information. You are a born teacher. Barry, you are an adorable madman. Thank you all.
Ramsey not cooked for about a decade, but his protoges are really damn good, is why Clare Smith and Matt Abé are some of the best chefs in the UK. I still say you should go to the Dorchester for actually good food, the Savoy is for tourists. The burger place is rubbish, complete waste of money, 100s of places in London better and cheaper. Love the video, like kush taking Jamie on steaks, have the feeling the boys had a great time.

But would you only give their toilet a 4/5 like the other places?
I LOVE THIS FORMAT!!! 😍 it's refreshing to see you out and about. Plus the production staff really upped their work in terms of the camerawork, the audio quality, the shots etc. Hoping to see more of these formats! ✨🥰
Yayyy! I was excited to see the video title then even more ecstatic when I saw Barry was along for the ride. Reminded me of their tin fish dates 🤣 Love everything about this video… the ranks, both food and restrooms 🚽 … those are important to us ladies 😋 and Gordon Ramsay! I like him almost as much as you boys at Sorted 🥰💜💕
Love this video, the "out on the town" setting with the top gear style voice overs is a really fun time. More like this!! (Especially loving Ben's voiceover narrator voice/inflections, totally selling the top gear vibe)
I met him back in his kitchen nightmares days in the Us and he was fantastic it’s rather refreshing to see positive reviews as it seems to be a going theme for people to try and knock him down
Thanks bud!
Tall Poppy Syndrome, as I believe the Aussies call it. One way or the other he's been knocking it out of the park for decades, I don't think a few trolls will make him lose any sleep.
@SortedFood great video. Plez do more of these. Also if you could get gordon to come on sorted and do a pass it on that would be epic imo
Wow, this was cool. I like the outdoor content and I love that Ramsey showed up. It's crazy how much charisma that man has.
I really like this concept, it’s good to see you guys out of the studio getting some fresh air. And getting Gordon Ramsey himself on tape at the end was a great way to close the day
12:48 WHEN I GO TO THE PUB I WANNA EAT THOSE PUB CLASSICS
This has such incredible production value, the pacing is perfect, and it’s really interesting. It’s videos like this that make me marvel that RUclips is still free!
absolutely not surprised about Ben's ranking 😂
He’s a well practiced Ranker.
i love this format! please rank more restaurants in london! and restrooms!
Gonna be honest here, i'm loving this new series
This was SO good! The editing and VOs are hilarious, the filmography is beautiful. You were both informed and insightful. Loved loved loved.
@@theritchie2173 memory is a notoriously fickle thing. It is an experience I will always remember, though, even through my flawed lense. 🙂
Love this video! Barry getting a cuddle from Ramsey himself at the end had me laughing!
The reviews were great but really Barry wanting to cuddle everyone was the highlight
Im surprised you havent gotten Gordon on before this with all that you do. 😊
Baz is so adorable with his cuddles. 😄 as a non brit its so STRANGE to see people escort you all the way to the restrooms.
This video is award-worthy!
This was so fun to watch! The hugs especially! 😂😂😍😍😍😍
Just Loved it
i read once that the two places fooderies let themselves down is the loos and desert menu. For me ice-cream only puddings is like being punched in the face, i have paid £45+ for a main and the puddings come from wilco, yet i went to a Lebanese place most expensive main £15 and puddings all made in the restaurant , the loos were really clean and supplied too (i dont use hand dryers)
This has to be one of the best videos you guys have created in a while. Absolutely perfect!
I was not expecting the end! Fantastic video guys!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Superb blagging efforts Barry! What an epic video! Well done to both of you, and the editing/filming was also excellent!
1:28 I CAN HEAR HIM 😭😭😭😭
Do you mean you didn't say it in time with him?!?! Lol. It's a favorite and I can't help myself 😅
I genuinely always enjoy your videos, but this one was just exceptional. Getting to peek around at the river and scenery was such a treat in combination with great food talk.
You know Gordan has been in Last Meals on Mythical Kitchen. Ben should go on as well!!
Not sure Josh would have us back! Haha
What a video! What an incredible change from watching the boys Hell’s Kitchen parody to them professionally reviewing his restaurants! I hope to see more of these in the future ❤️ Also the restroom review had me in stitches 😭
Always knew Baz was a Ranker but a loveable Ranker. 😂
He only Ranks with love! 🤢
I loved this video! Barry with cuddles so funny and wholesome 😂 I’d love to see more videos like this! So many amazing places in London alone you can rank
This video was a Barry idea? It feels like a Barry Idea... The kind of idea were at the start he should thought... "Mmmm Ramsay will be around, I wonder if I can make something to get a cuddle from him"
the voice-overs makes this video so so so entertaining to watch! well done boys
Ebbers and Barry fangirling over Gordon Ramsay was incredibly sweet, well done👏👏👏👏👏
Hey guys! Daniel here! My account is failing atm so heres another one! Please more of ebbers exploring the Uk wilderness
Gordon really is a sweet human. He just takes what he does seriously and passionately. I love that Baz got a cuddle. All of the food looked amazing. Love you guys and look forward to the next video. We do need a Mike video now since we had Jamie and Kush and now Baz and Ebbers. 😊
1minute ago?? The last time I was this early I ended up paying child support
You know you've been watching Sorted for a long time if you immediately knew the reference of Barry mouthing "velouté". Fantastic video lads, this is such an enjoyable format!
Oh wow, what a start - Ben arriving in a limousine !
It’s how he demands to travel everywhere 😂
A Rolls Royce no less, literally the by-word for automotive luxury.
How can I give this video more than one thumb up? I laughed so hard for the entire length of the vid. Ben, as always thank you for the information. You are a born teacher. Barry, you are an adorable madman. Thank you all.
Feels like a sponsored video.
Definitely not! Cost us a tonne! 🤣 #worthit
@@SortedFood ok. I've been to a couple of these places. Really average food & overpriced. The only good thing was the staff.
This was great! Love me some Ramsey, especially seeing his stuff being ranked and rated like this 😄 And that finally conversation- stonkin!
👌
The burger place was brilliant but it's not what it was.
He cooks once in a while on MasterChef 😂
His name is Ramsay though not Ramsey.
This was so fun! One of my favourites of all time, so well made, so fun, joyful, silly, just great!
Velouuuuute 😂
