Exclusive - A Day With Casper The White Lion And Brothers At A Triple Buffalo Kill

- Let's spend a day in the presence of the world-famous Casper the White Lion and his three brothers-Casanova, Footloose, and Mfowethu-as they feast on a double buffalo kill (Cow and her young calf) close to Satara Rest Camp in Kruger National Park.
And, if the double kill was not enough, they attacked another buffalo calf!
We watch them trying to protect their kill from hungry vultures, though their tummies are so full they can't hardly move.
At the end of the day, the 'foursome' retire to a nearby river to quench their thirst, thereby leaving the remains of their kill to the scavengers.

• If you need to follow them, then do so at a reasonable distance to avoid the stress it might cause the animals by following too closely.
• Please TURN OFF your car engines at a sighting - The Wildlife and other Tourist DO NOT need your AIR and NOISE Pollution.
GAME DRIVE ETIQUETTE - RULES (SANParks):
- When you come across a sighting, slowly pull over on the side of the road closest to the animal, but keep a safe distance
- If there are animals in the road, immediately stop at least 20 m from them
- The lane furthest from the sighting should NEVER be blocked, so that others can pass if they want to
- Don’t linger longer than a few minutes at a sighting, so that others can view it too
- Never go off the designated roads
- Never climb out of your vehicle during a drive, or hang out of your car windows or sunroof
- Don’t hoot or blare loud music
- Avoid driving into vegetation, as this could damage the environment or kill small animals
- During night drives, never shine a spotlight directly in animals’ eyes
- Never make noise to get animals to move, stand up or otherwise react for pictures
- Respect the rangers, and always comply with their requests or instructions

Casper & his brothers are very familiar with their territory well enough to know of the good food source & availability of water. Their hunting skills are perfectly honed & they are in excellent condition (on the mend) it's enough to respect their massive size & power. They have come good on all they set out to achieve & now the brothers are enjoying a successful time as dominant males🤞I hope they continue along this path. But I wonder why they haven’t taken over a pride yet considering their age, strength and size. Makes me wonder their bond as brothers may not be as strong just yet in order to conquer a pride or an area.
Hi there,@@rjm830😊Casper & his brothers (Approx/nearly 7 yrs) They control the Satara pride & have an insatiable appetite to expand & conquer. They carry a survival gene & were sired by one of the Shishangaan Veteran/Warriors, Kruger lions are from the school of hard knocks⚔️In 2018 they lost 4 brothers who were killed by the Ngotso south pride males, leaving the 4 remaining brothers we see now. They've encountered some terrible tragedies along the way but are fully aware of their losses & are determined to forge ahead as true Kings taking center stage. I have learned all these facts about the brothers from here, & Big On Wild. Take care, see you around the lion community👍

Casper and bros. are thriving. Glad to see he's reunited with his coalition after his mating session. He doesn't seem to be limping at all. Lions are truly resilient creatures!💕🦁💕

I'd like for them to introduce more captive bread white male lions into the wild. I've seen on multiple occasions lions being able to adapt even if raised in captivity. It'd be cool to release a coalition of 3-4 males to ensure they have the numbers to conquer a pride.

Such handsome boys. They are absolutely huge! Looks like Casper seems to be moving better which I am glad to see. Unless this was an older video which I probably should have looked at the date this was filmed before I said that 🤦🏻♀️. Actually he just said Casper wasn’t limping as much which I am happy to hear as well as see.
They are awesome hunters, it's a shame it was an overkill but hey that's what lions do. The good thing is that absolutely nothing goes to waste in the wild. They are all stunning lions, a formidable coalition.

even lions sometimes realize : we have too much meat ! We cant eat it all and we dont have a freezer. But after few days they are hungry again .
Lions are smart majestic creatures they don't want to waste food rather they stuck it in their own way freezer trees.

Notice if one male Lion looks in a certain direction, the other male Lion/s look too. Maybe because they hear something or just wondering what the Lion is looking at? Noted too that no Hyenas are present nearby, hahaha. I wonder why😂

At the beginning of the video, any idea why they seem timid about approaching the buffalo?
I think they were checking if there were any Hyenas around?
What I would like to know is, how big is their territory and are they close to other rival males and coalitions, if so which males? Are they officially dominant over the Satara pride? How many members in this pride and are they with cubs?
Their territory currently is around Satara Rest-camp. They were spotted in the past on the S41/S100/S90 and at Sweni road and at Nsemani Dam area...but it seems they have settled down around Satara lately. So...their territory...the sky is their limit! They are very close to the N'wanetsi, Shishangaan (their roots), Sweni and the Nsemani prides. The Satara Pride is just a few females and a male that already has absconded when the Casper brothers arrived. The Casper coalition will probably take over the Nsemani pride which consist of healthy females and is currently dominated by two OLD males, Snr. Mbiri and Rockfigg that are in the last years of living - 10 and 12 years plus old.

@@lionthebeast579 I'm not questioning their ability to hunt buffalo cause they can certainly do that but just look at the buff it doesn't look like a bite from a lion does it? Hell no predator can make it look like that with teeth it looks too cleanly cut
