Many would say that; Schoolly D. was the Godfather and Creator of Gangster Rap some also argue Cool C., others would say Ice T. either way…. All three of those Rap Artist precede Easy E. but still,…I guess they all have their respected times.

Great documentary, excellent narration. I find it funny how the movie states Eazy was broke. 50 mil is not broke. I can't help but imagine the biggest rappers of 1995 income? I'm willing to bet non of them had 50 million dollars in their bank accounts, maybe MC Hammer which had the best record deal in rap history. He had no lyrical respect but the man was a true businessman. I'm still willing to bet anyone Eric was THEE wealthiest hip hop dude of that era. Even Russell Simmons was near bankrupt back then. I'm waiting on the JayZ Tupac B.I.G Puffy Eminem fans to flood the thread with foolish comments. JAY didn't have an album out, Eminem was still In the trailer park throwing up his mom's spaghetti, Puff was working as an intern at Uptown. So bring it🤌🏼 Eric more than likely were the wealthiest hip hop dude in the game upon his death, that being said the movie was a put together disaster. Poorly written and nothing more than a fast money grab.

My whole life ive always idolized eazy e. Everybody always made him look selfish and I was biased because I liked him most out of NWA and old school rappers but as time goes on it just proves all along my judgment on him was right. He was real asl. They all got greedy and shitted on him and made him out to be the bad guy. Respect to ice cube and dre for being some of the founding fathers of this shit but only as far as that goes. Sounds like they were all just cry babies and became greedy. They hated the fact eazy was the one who had the stardom but he deserved it because of all the work/money he put into it. Fuck all them lmfao then they made that straight outta compton movie and lowkey tried to shit on eazy making him look weak and selfish when in reality none of this shit would even exist without him. Ice cube got the flow, voice, mental when it comes to music but without eazy being the business man behind it all and making shit happen none of that even matters. Idk maybe im still biased but this is my perspective on the entire thing.

Dre and Easy didn’t know each other although they lived in the same neighborhood. Easy saw his name on some mix tapes and heard his music and set out to find him. They met but Dre kinds blew him off but Dre got locked up and he called Easy to get him out. He bailed him out and said now you gotta go something for him. And the rest was history.
