Her name is Mary Kelly, she's 29. I'm not sure where she's from though.
She american
HAHAHA
lmfaoo
I'm going to guess Connecticut, because her CT accent sounds the most natural to me.
😂
I'm starting to think she may be Mary Kelly and that she is 29.
great observation!!!
HAHAHA
I don't know, further research may need to be done. It wasn't clear
You shouldn't assume unless you know for sure
Ur absolutely hilarious!.... Ah wit... U either have it or you don't
I like how she did the vocal fry while doing the LA accent
Holy crap. I’m from Sydney Australia and as one of HARDEST accents anyone can master that was freakishly spot on. Incredibly rare that a non Aussie can do our accent.
She sounded more Aussie than me and I’m born and raised in Sydney Australia lol 😂
She seriously looks like the love child of Winona Ryder and Drew Barrymore 🙂
Spot on!!!!
She gave me major Jodie Comer vibes, I think just coz of all the accents but kind of the look. And Millie Bobby Brown
YES OMG
I glanced at it on passing and genuinely thought it was a video of Millie Bobby Brown until I looked closer
I was thinking of Meryl Streep :D
As an Australian, I was and am truly shocked about how good that was. They're usually TERRIBLE.
I was JUST typing the same thing haha!! Usually it’s so cringe worthy when someone does an Aussie accent but that was spot on!!
Aussie
I’ll second that!
I third that!
I wanted it to be awesome but I think 7/10. She hung onto that ‘nine’ a little long. “Noyyn” is trying too hard. I agree that most people get the Aussie accent very wrong.
I love how she got the “attitude “ not just the accent. 😂
I'm from Seattle and I never really thought we had a unique way of speaking, but now I finally hear it coming from you.
Yea man, I moved to Seattle from south Texas about 4 years ago, I've noticed there's a certain western Washington kind of accent with a lot of folks. It gets a little stronger the further west you go from Seattle. I think Krist Novaselic(the bassist from Nirvana) is a perfect representation of a stronger PNW kind of accent.
Just did a little research and I guess he lived in California until he was 14? I don't know if that has anything to do with it ? I'm not familiar with how he speaks but I listened to a little @@salopro86
After listening to this, rn I think my name is Mary Kelly too
🤣🤣🤣lmao mee too
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
But what kind of Mary Kelly are you? From Liverpool, Paris, Sidney...?
Hahaha
It's so cool how every accent has a different personality.
I thought the same thing! I remember hanging out with bilingual people and noticing they changed personalities /energies when switching from one language to another, it's quite fascinating
@@gingersal8052 as a bilingual person I agree
"Hello, I'm Mary Kelly from West Hollywood, California. I'm a Trans-Gender Toucan-Sexual. My pronouns are We, Wo and Wa. I'm a Socialist Thief, therefore I ALWAYS vote Democrat. I dye my pubic hair green. Fuck the Patriarchy !!! When I pass away all alone - my 47 cats will consume by body. Oh, did I mention that I'm a Socialist Democrat ?"
@@gingersal8052 I agree
@@gingersal8052 Ikr!! It’s a whole-a$$ study LOL🧐
The Liverpool, Manchester, Northern Irish and Glasgow ones were a little in the ‘uncanny valley’ still. A little bit of refinement needed there. Everything else sounded fairly spot on. For reference I’m Scottish, but have lived in England and Paris and have Northern Irish family.
Essex definitely needs some work too. You need to spend some more time in the UK! The US ones were all so impressive though, I don't usually notice the subtle differences in American accents and thought you brought these out beautifully.
So the ones you're most familiar with seem the weakest. I'm from the north west too and thought Manchester and Liverpool were not that good.
@@jeremyjub9147the way she said "I'm 29" for the Essex one honestly sounded more Australian.
I was surprised she tried all those UK dialects. That was tough and she did it well.
Liverpool Manchester Irish Galway Northern Irish all rubbish.Essex Australia good.Where is Welsh?.
I'm from Cape Town, South Africa and I was so pleasantly surprised that you included one of our accents in this video. You're the first one who did it spot on. ❤️
For all the people asking, her name is Mary Kelly and she's 29 years old.
HAHAHAHA
Yeah but where's she from?
You’re kidding!
Thanks I was wondering
Yes she does.... maybe she is
Okay but the vocal fry for LA was perfect
Agreed!
When? :D
i definitely have vocal fry and i realize it is probably cos i live in SoCal😭😭
Ahhh I’m from Orange County and had no idea what a vocal fry was until seeing this and reading your comment and now I’m distraught..
You are so beautiful!!!! You would totally nail an SNL audition. The Australian accent was incredible!!
Thank you for doing Transatlantic!! 💕 so amazing and it’s one of the less talked about accents (from what I know)
I was waiting for New York like "Hi, I'm Mary Kelly, I'm 29 years old and I'M WALKING HERE!"
😂 Would have been great!!
@@BrettTwinSavage I don't understand it. Can U please explain
@@anushareddy2122
It was a famous line (once upon a time anyways) spoken by Dustin Hoffman in the movie “Midnight Cowboy”. He’s a New Yorker and while crossing a busy street he’s honked at. He then hollars at the driver “I’M WALKIN’ HERE! I’M WALKIN’!” in his thick New Yorker accent.
ruclips.net/video/c412hqucHKw/видео.html
@@BrettTwinSavageOh okay. Thank you. That was really nice of you to explain it to me
@@anushareddy2122 You’re very welcome! It’s part of the fun here! ☺️(I’M EXPLAININ’ HERE! I’M EXPLAININ’! 😉😄 )
Damn.. She's like older version of Millie Bobby Brown
Is that Millie Bobby brown 😅
They HAVE to be related.
They look almost the same age! Both are gorgeous young ladies but Millie looks older than her age.
YES!!!!! 💯
Agreed. They should do a movie together
The vocal fry on Mary from LA, California - brilliant. You have a new fan. Brava!
I looove your german accent!! Very subtle and not overdone like many do. You other accents were brilliant too as far as I can tell. I loved the irish ones
I love this girl!! So talented. What's her name? How old is she?
تخيلي تبقي كتبة كومنت في القناة بتاعتها و تسألي علي اسمها كنتي تعبتي عينك شوية و دورتي علي اسمها بس نقول ايه بقي كسل بعيد عن السامعين
I think her name is Sarah and she’s 31 years old.
@@peytonp.3096 good one
I’m pretty sure her name is Liz and she’s 4 years old ;)
she's actually a 29 year old schizophrenic
In case you didn't know, her name is Mary and she is 29 years old.
But where's she from actually?! 😂😂😂
Mary Kelly to be exact 😆
I looked away from the monitor for a bit, and when you started the Southern accents, I said, "That better say Texas." It said Texas. Great job. Most people butcher Southern accents trying to go Delta, which is practically extinct, but you nailed it. Gave me warm fuzzies.
NOW THAT'S TALENT!! YOU NAILED IT!!! How you caught the subtle & not-so-subtle nuances was OUTSTANDING!!
As non native, the Seattle accent is what my brains calls "neutral english" lol i'm sorry Americans
What makes these next level is that she goes beyond the accent and gives each one the delivery and mannerisms that really bring it to life..the Delta blew me away, it felt like the shape of the room I’m sitting in changed. Magic. ✨
I'm from Portland, just a short 170 miles from Seattle and our accents are pretty basic, but we mumble like mmthfkas though.
You're not wrong. I'm American and do transcription audios from all over the country. Seattle is one of the easiest because they are so neutral.
As an American not from Seattle, I completely agree.
I thought the same. I was like like yes, this is decent english. Lol.
The drag in the Californian accent is so accurate I love it!
By 'drag', do you mean the lowering of the sentence end into a low, purring sound?
Thought that was a typical Valley Girl trait...
@@anilachar323 “vocal fry” is the term for it
@@mallorymontenegro3924 That's a good definition!
If you watch Amy walker's 21 accent it was Essentially an imitations of hers
It’s impressive to have such range and this is a fun video! However, I have to comment that the Belfast accent is very off. The way we pronounce Belfast is Bell-fast (no reduction on the “fast”). Beyond this, the initial lines sounded much more “country”, sliding into something more southern, before landing something closer to the Belfast accent with “Northern Ireland”. Keep it up!
I noticed that about Bell-fast as well.
Ugh this is why i have such a love-hate relationship with social media - it can be toxic but it also brought you to my radar!!! Thank you for sharing your talents so generously with the world!!
Why is this not blowing up?!?!?!?
I know right!

Remember me when it does
@@avanipanji I have a bad memory
when she did the transatlantic accent, i was like "why is the video not black and white?" major dissonance while watching the video and hearing the accent ahh so good
does indeed sound reminiscent of early classic films -- also the ''No Richard, No!'' skit with Kate McKinnon on snl 😆
Yes! I thought the same thing! Black and white with gowns by Adrian!
Black and White with a picture of Cary Grant in the background!
Thanks for existing and doing the thing that you love to do.
Mary, your accents are mesmerizing and hilarious. You are super talented!
Impressive!! My favorite thing was that the Boston and Pittsburgh people were ever so slightly angry/aggressive lol. Found this video from a compilation of your TikTok celebrity impressions - you've got serious talent!
I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone get close to an Aussie accent but you nailed it
Amy Walker, the lady she references in the beginning of the video, is and absolute MASTER of accents - ozzie being one
A solid Aus accent. I was waiting for her to cross the ditch to New Zealand and tell the difference (or should I say “cross the dutch and till the duff’runce” 😉).
@@lbd-po7cl Yes, I was waiting for her tryout to mock Kiwi accent. Unfortunately, not this time :-)
I came to comment to say exactly the same thing!
Yeah it took me out, I‘ve never heard an American get that right, spooky
So cool. I love hearing the different accents from different parts of the UK
Awesome! Love your work. I've had a lifelong fascination with accents. I'm from Cape Town South Africa.. I enjoyed your attempt at our crazy accent immensely:)
The Australian accent is so hard and I can say, as an Australian you nailed it!
Struth, yeah nah it's not
@@kiwishamoo6494 yeh nah is a qldr thing, not an overall aussie thing as most aussies don't all talk in contradictory manner.
I agree she nailed the east coast Aussie accent....we south aussies a different.....sample is an example haha
THAT AUSTRALIAN ACCENT HAS BE FLOORED WHAT. Usually impressions are so bad
I love that you did the same phrase over and over so we could hear the difference. LOVED IT.
So talented!!! Would love to hear more of your Philly accent!
I'm from Dallas and all your southern accents feel like a weird comforting hug lol so strange. She's so good!
Texas was on point for sure lol
I'm from dfw and I didn't find it representative at all, but she's incredible. I'm sure I'm just picky because she did my hometown accent.
@@Lolahahaha11 that's how I felt too, my accent is pretty mild and doesn't come out all that much but I definitely know others who sound like it. Didn't expect it to feel like a hug tho 😂
Yeah, born and raised in Dallas here, and I think she nailed a Texas country accent. Dallas? Not so much. Still great though!
I’m from Texas but why could I relate more to her Seattle and Connecticut accents?
An amazing assortment of accents & even more impressed with your micro expressions that really help solidly the notion that each accent belongs to a fully realized individual character. Well done.
The old fashioned Delta accent was very interesting to listen to 😂
Omg you are seriously GOOOOD. Such a big fan of SNL sure you ll be great for SNL 😉
You’re incredible! How did you study all of these accents? Did you just go one by one or did you take a class!? This is total goals for me
A lot of of the British Acting schools have classes dedicated to accents. It’s why their exports are generally pretty good at doing an American or other accents.
For whatever reason most of the American acting schools don’t do this, which is a shame.
I don’t know if she studied acting abroad or not though, but it’s possible she studied across the pond. I did study a bit myself in England for a couple semesters (part of an exchange sort of thing with my Acting program located in New York).
Other than that, yeah you can get lessons from Accent coaches and whatnot.
@@TheGeorgeD13 I don't know why you think American acting schools don't include accent study because they do. They are more concerned with regional American accents, though, and tend to give British and Irish ones short shrift. Some British actors are good at American accents and some definitely are not. I saw an English production of The Grapes of Wrath that was all over the map, and not in a good way.
You absolutely crushed the Aussie accent!! It was a little bit of a broad accent. You’d probably be more likely to find someone with an accent like that in rural Australia. Less in the big cities like Sydney. The 9 was a little ott.
But super impressive! Most Americans totally miss the mark but, you pretty much nailed it!
As someone originally from Wisconsin, I can confirm that you nailed the Wisconsin accent!
I’m over here trying to decide where I want to live next based on your accents so thank you for that.
I think the world will be seeing you on screen. Fingers crossed. You're fantastic. Just saw one too where you were doing different facial expressions, and my, you're absolutely fantastic.
Love your tik rok videos. Was waiting for Elizabeth Perkins to come up in the look alike video. Thanks for sharing your talent
Extraordinarily well done! I’m impressed 👌
Very very subtle. You nailed all of them. The Seattle accent sounded most like what I consider just general American English and was most similar to the Connecticut accent
yoo hii!!! absolutely love your acting!!! can u do a video where u give some tips for beginners who would really love to level up their acting skills 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I LOVE doing accents..I have an Australian alter ego that comes out when I'm drunk and I just love fooling people that I'm from Leia from Brisbane, Australia. You're so talented!! Looking forward to seeing more
That was BRILLIANT!!! It was like watching an insane person talking to the board about which one wanted to be released. Cracking me up!
I'm a tiny bit of a voice actor.
This is incredible! Very, very accurate pretty much across the board
I’m originally from Michigan (near Detroit) and I have a hard time pinpointing what’s specific about my accent. I will say it’s like a less nasally Wisconsin crossed with a less brash Chicago accent !! Great job!
As a native Spanish speaker, I was pretty sold on the Spanish accent until you tried to say 'España' 😂 Great video though, very convincing.
the lisps were kinda forced lmao
@@dragndorf9 We native spanish do not lisp, it's the rest of the latin speaking people that can't pronunce the C and Z
@@OM-uj9vl it's true we don't pronounce differently C and Z and even S but she did well in the E'paña thing... but I guess it depends on the region. Here in Mexico people from the coast don't pronounce the S neither, they would say Co'ta instead of Costa. Why am I writing to you in English? mmmH?
@@OM-uj9vl pa nahhh just face it,the Madrid accent pronounces "c" & "z" as "th"....like zumo becomes thumo
Nobody from Barcelona would say "Eth-paña", ever, that's just plainly wrong (this is one of my biggest pet peeves with people who knows no Spanish trying to do a "Spanish accent"). "Bar-the-lona" is also weird, because while it's the right pronunciation in Spanish, most locals don't use the Spanish pronunciation if they're not speaking Spanish. They would use the Catalan pronunciation, in which case the "c" is pronounced as "s".
Very very cool! You’re so talented. I’m from Toronto, Canada, I would have to say the accent wasn’t quite on, but I loved all the others 😊
I would enjoy hearing you try various Australia accents. We sound so different from East coast, and West coast and North to South at that!
Lol your cali was so true and you got the Seattle accent so much I'm wondering if you're from king county.
You gotta add the Geordie accent to your arsenal! It's the north shields/Newcastle area in UK. Also add the Michigan accent!
OMG half way through the video WOW the accents are so spot on I"M AMAZED AND A FAN
This was amazing. The only thing I would “criticise” was the northern English accents. The scouse was a bit closer to Australian, for example. But I’m only saying this as a Brit. Apart from that, it was absolutely brilliant and I’m in awe as to how you can do all this and omg your mouth acting is just phenomenal x
G’day mate...That was great & you did our Aussie accent really well. Good on ya! 😊
So good! I'm Australian and you did SO good! It was kinda rural, drop in some of the cali accent and its perfect! (Sorry, it was really good, but if you wanted criticism that would be it, just try clip it just the teeniest bit more, but its 10/10 i wouldn't have clocked it otherwise :)
Holy shit that Aussie accent floored me mate. What a catch!
AMAZING!! very talented!
you are gonna be ridiculously successful. you are sooo talented
Your natural accent is much closer to a "Toronto" accent than your Toronto accent in the video!
Agreed. There was something particularly weird about the way she said "Canada". Like maybe the hypothetical Torontonian is second generation and she was raised speaking two languages in the home.
I was going to say the same. I’m from Toronto area and people don’t really talk like that unless they’re originally from a small town in the boonies. It’s too hillbilly. Haha but yeah, the natural accent sounds more like Toronto.
Yeah I'm from the Toronto area and her natural accent sounds the most like us, followed by her Seattle accent. The way she says "Canada" reminds me of the way western Canadians (specifically in Alberta) speak.
She was definitely a lot closer than a lot of people doing "Canadian" accents I've seen which usually sound like a broken Irish/Midwestern US hybrid, but just the way she said "Canada" was off. I've hear people from Saskatchewan say it like that but not Toronto.
I agree, that was not a Toronto accent. Too rural sounding. Maybe pick a small town in Northern Ontario.
Holy moly! Accents are incredible! I thought she was like 19 tbh. She could play a highschool/First Year Uni character easily. So pretty too! ☺️😁
So funny how as an American, the overseas accents were so interesting to hear, and then you got back to us and I was just rolling. 😂 Really easy to laugh at yourself- especially with how well you did the L.A. cliche and Connecticut. Thank you.
I would enjoy watching you in any movie or show or commercial - I'm sure of it. You're a great talent...I wish you all the luck in becoming world famous!
So good! What was really great about this was that each accent wasn't a caricature of those accents, but a really accurate depiction. This isn't Hollywood quality accent. This is CIA quality.
Having lived all over the US, I can vouch for how spot on your accents are. Having lived 10 years in Boston and having spent many summers in Wisconsin I was howling at those 2 accents in particular. 😂 Bravo!!!
Ehh, her Sconnie was only okay. She did pronounce Milwaukee right but she sounded like she was straining to do it.
I stumbled upon your videos. You are really funny!! Great job!!!
Love it. Originally from Pittsburgh, I would humbly suggest throwing in “Hey yinz guyz.” 😀
I was born and raised in Fairfield County and I definitely went to high school with the girl you were doing an impression of
I agree. I was floored by her FFLD County accent. Amazing.
I lived in “Mwaukee Wizgyonsin” for over 20 years, you nailed it!
So glad I found this channel!
I remember finding Amy Walker’s video a year or so after it came out.
I feel like Mary’s video is the modern RUclips version of it.
Oh my gosh the number of people that can't pull off a genuine Australian accent and here you are, quite possibly the first person I've heard who isn't Australian, pull it off pretty much perfectly! Wow.
Amazing! Flippin love it. Would’ve loved to have heard you do a Welsh accent too. ❤️🏴
You are so talented!!
That was a great Aussie accent. I'd love to hear you do a Kiwi one as well!
I'm from Straya! 😂 Spot on! Could have thrown in a g'day mate, lol. Love this video, very clever.

Hey, you're extremely talented! Absolutely loved the video. Just a small suggestion, like next time you make an accent video try using the lines that the native speakers would say or talk about. I didn't mind the repetition of the lines but it would have been cooler if you could have used some things they would talk about. I do understand you're using the same line to show how each person would speak differently! Just a suggestion. Love the video. Amazing. 😍
I saw a video of you here on RUclips from a different channel; it compiled your TikTok videos featuring mouth acting, and was suggested by the RUclips algorithm. I came here to sub! This was a great video. I hope you become even more successful because you're very talented!
That’s awesome! Thanks for subbing 🥰
I wish more people did Canadian accents, but when they do they're always from out west. because of our relative low population (compared to the amount of space we have) the amount of accents we've got is... well, just an insane amount. Just in my native province of NB there's gotta be at least 5 accents (context: population of NB is about a quarter of just Orange County in California)
THIS IS EXCELLENT!!! I have seen so many of these and it just didn't hit the mark!!! yours is SPOT ON every time!! Well done!
So brilliant!!!
As a French native, I can tell your imitation of our accent is actually way better than what I'm used to when I hear my fellow comrades trying to speak in English...
I found your Italian one pretty accurate though ^^
As an Italian, the rolling R’s were a little too intense but she got close!
It was like hearing a finnish friend of mine speaking english, definitely not the Italian ones. She pronounced Buongiorno pretty well though.
@@OcchioniApotropaici ??? I have Finnish friends who speak English and they literally sound nothing like this lmao. Like not even close.

I'm from Los Angeles and you nailed the SoCal accent !!
Fantastic...you are very talented, naturally funny and very pretty. I wish you the best...keep it up and you will definately get a sketch on SNL. Be safe...thanks for your art.
You are a true talent. I just found your videos and I love love them. I hope to see you on SNL sometime soon!! Can I give one piece of un requested advice? I only want to help. The use of the word “um” is very American. Other countries have their own version of this “fill in” word. Like the British say “erhm “ and the Spanish speakers use “es de”. This would be a nice small add to your accents if you used the appropriate version of the “um” for all accents.
The Boston accent is so accurate, with the casual vibe and everything
You're amazing! My favorites were LA and CT!! Spot on!
