Love your tik rok videos. Was waiting for Elizabeth Perkins to come up in the look alike video. Thanks for sharing your talent
I lived in “Mwaukee Wizgyonsin” for over 20 years, you nailed it!
I'm from Los Angeles and you nailed the SoCal accent !!
I love that you did the same phrase over and over so we could hear the difference. LOVED IT.
I LOVE doing accents..I have an Australian alter ego that comes out when I'm drunk and I just love fooling people that I'm from Leia from Brisbane, Australia. You're so talented!! Looking forward to seeing more
As a French native, I can tell your imitation of our accent is actually way better than what I'm used to when I hear my fellow comrades trying to speak in English...
I found your Italian one pretty accurate though ^^
As an Italian, the rolling R’s were a little too intense but she got close!
It was like hearing a finnish friend of mine speaking english, definitely not the Italian ones. She pronounced Buongiorno pretty well though.
@@OcchioniApotropaici ??? I have Finnish friends who speak English and they literally sound nothing like this lmao. Like not even close.
Well done overall, but not a single person in Toronto sounds like that. Common misconception in American media is giving Canadians the Minnesotan accent... On the contrary, many linguists consider Ontarian English to be the most phonetically consistent and least affected among North American English accents.
Yes! The whole video was so good until I heard Toronto! Most people Downtown speak with a lot of Caribbean slang which would have been more accurate
Yeah, the “Toronto” accent was way way off.
@@Sarah-dz4sn Um, not really. I mean we are lucky to have a very international vibe here but I wouldn't say that people downtown or anywhere in Toronto speak with a lot of Caribbean slang. That said, at least Mary pronounced it "Tor-own-no" instead of "Tor-ON-Toe" which would be a dead giveaway.
You must be from Connecticut. No one just decides "hey, lemme learn a Connecticut accent."
Wonderful. I'm from near Pittsburgh and you nailed it. Loved the, "Go Steelers." Perfect. I noticed Seattle sound alot like Maryland where I live.
Holy moly! Accents are incredible! I thought she was like 19 tbh. She could play a highschool/First Year Uni character easily. So pretty too! ☺️😁
I never thought I would be so excited just to hear someone say "Milwaukee, Wisconsin" but here we are...
It was done so well!! People usually do a Chicago, Minnesota, or Canadian accent for WI.
okay um you’re amazing? like hello?
Very very subtle. You nailed all of them. The Seattle accent sounded most like what I consider just general American English and was most similar to the Connecticut accent
As someone originally from Wisconsin, I can confirm that you nailed the Wisconsin accent!
Also...my wife's ex girl is from essex and that was absolutely horrifying for her to watch....spot on😅
for her to watch or for you to watch xD
@@danzwku keep it in your pants man
Was she from Essex Australia or something? That accent was not it
@@benjaminpikoikj7090 not where I was going with that but okay lol
@@ethancoffey3491 Um... I’m pretty sure Essex is an area in England, not Australia lmao
That was more like a parody of a Chicago accent than a real one 😂😂😂
Sounded more like a Minnesotan accent "don't ya know".
Totally. It reminded of those old SNL skits about “da bears”, but no one in Chicago actually sounds like that lmao.
Said "Mawaukee" like a champ tho.
@@jamesdewane1642 say hello to yer moms fer me. Watch fer deer.

The German one wasn't bad, just not like someone from Berlin. Rather southern Germany
@@janinas1121 Yes, you have right. Im from Poland that's why i can hear a lot of German People speaking english. It was not 100% german, maybe 50%. It was too soft.
@@kaz5134 from the other side of Germany but I agree that it didn’t sound German. Her French accent sounded a bit German
So I’ve never been to Berlin but have lived in Hessen, I have an uncle in Bayern, an uncle and two Aunts in Hessen, and one in Schwarzwald, and they all had the same parents (including my mom). I grew up bilingual with an American dad. Her German accent blew me away. It wasn’t very thick, but subtle like a fluent English speaker would sound. It was very good in my opinion
Very very cool! You’re so talented. I’m from Toronto, Canada, I would have to say the accent wasn’t quite on, but I loved all the others 😊
I'm from Cape Town, South Africa and I was so pleasantly surprised that you included one of our accents in this video. You're the first one who did it spot on. ❤️
yoo hii!!! absolutely love your acting!!! can u do a video where u give some tips for beginners who would really love to level up their acting skills 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
As someone who lived in Liverpool for many years, I'm sorry to say that is not a scouse accent.
Having lived all over the US, I can vouch for how spot on your accents are. Having lived 10 years in Boston and having spent many summers in Wisconsin I was howling at those 2 accents in particular. 😂 Bravo!!!
Ehh, her Sconnie was only okay. She did pronounce Milwaukee right but she sounded like she was straining to do it.
Awesome! Love your work. I've had a lifelong fascination with accents. I'm from Cape Town South Africa.. I enjoyed your attempt at our crazy accent immensely:)
I gotta say, that was a pretty good attempt at a South African accent! I love that you said howzit too 😂❤️
Comes from 'Hoe is het'? Greetings from the Netherlands 😁
Attempt... she didn't quite get it.
The Boston accent is so accurate, with the casual vibe and everything
Fairfield CT could easily be morphed into a Laura Linney.
I saw a video of you here on RUclips from a different channel; it compiled your TikTok videos featuring mouth acting, and was suggested by the RUclips algorithm. I came here to sub! This was a great video. I hope you become even more successful because you're very talented!
That’s awesome! Thanks for subbing 🥰
So funny how as an American, the overseas accents were so interesting to hear, and then you got back to us and I was just rolling. 😂 Really easy to laugh at yourself- especially with how well you did the L.A. cliche and Connecticut. Thank you.
You're amazing! My favorites were LA and CT!! Spot on!
I'm from Straya! 😂 Spot on! Could have thrown in a g'day mate, lol. Love this video, very clever.
Loved it! But as a Spanish speaker the way you pronounce Mary would immediately let me know you aren’t Spanish. Try “mah-ree” do it kind of fast and with your mouth wide open until it feels natural. Besides that, you are an amazing talent !!! 🤍
Yeah that was what I was thinking
I wish more people did Canadian accents, but when they do they're always from out west. because of our relative low population (compared to the amount of space we have) the amount of accents we've got is... well, just an insane amount. Just in my native province of NB there's gotta be at least 5 accents (context: population of NB is about a quarter of just Orange County in California)
Mary, your accents are mesmerizing and hilarious. You are super talented!
That is brilliant!!
London accent is amazing I really thought you were English. Liverpool and Manchester are awful but those are so tough.
Awful is very harsh!
@@kJ922-h3j Agree!
Tbf, the Liverpool accent was awful. There's no point in sugar coating everything, she did a great job on others - she sounded too Irish.
Rather tell her than her audition with it and get turned down.
I agree Liverpool and Manchester weren’t great, Scottish was very good apart from how she said ‘Glasgow’, London was spot on. Irish accents were good too
100% hard agree. As someone from Manchester area I have absolutely no idea what she was going for with the Manchester one to be honest hahaha never heard an accent like that in my life. But other than that the others were amazing!!!
When doing a French accent you also have to put an accent to your name. No French person would say Mary Kelly more like Maree Kellee. And the Rs should be more pronouced. Great pronouciation of France. And very good Italian accent.
Ooooh 🤦♂️, you just remind me that many French people who give a presentation (I work at a University), put the accent / emphasis on the wrong parts of the words in English, I can be so tiring after a while, because it can be more difficult to understand and it almost sounds like they're doing it on purpose.. 'We used ze Eee-quipment to do ze anala-SYS on ze se-COND part. 😅 Love the French though, no hard feelings 😄
Whoaaa as a fellow 29 year old from Sydney that was spot on!
Ugh this is why i have such a love-hate relationship with social media - it can be toxic but it also brought you to my radar!!! Thank you for sharing your talents so generously with the world!!
Soo cool!!! Nice job! I want to hear some Portuguese accent!!
That’s amazing!
But when you say España... the “s” does not have a “th” sound. Only letters “c” and “z”. You said Barcelona perfectly. ❤️
And Barcelona is in the Catalonia region of Spain, and they've been trying to let go for decades.
Would a Barcelona citizen still say, "I am from Spain..."?
And would they have a specific regional accent when they speak English?
Just asking.
@@anilachar323 there are still many people from Barcelona who consider themselves part of Spain
Todavía hay mucha gente de Barcelona que se considera española
@@jackhutchinson1457 Got it!
@@anilachar323 It's not rare. If you are in an international setting, saying Barcelona, Spain is pretty common, as it's more recognizable.
@@anilachar323 actually, she said "im from barcelona" with some kind of Argentinian accent. In Barcelona we dont do "th" sound, we say "barsalona"
And... yes, most of us do not consider oursleves spanish, but its kinda 50/50
I'm from Pittsburgh and you did "Stillers" perfectly lol 😂
Essex punched me square in the Jessie J and LA vocal fried me so hard I hallucinated Kourtney Kardashian. This was truly impressive. Wisconsin stung a bit because it sounded the closest to Western NY. I hung my head in shame a bit.
Don't know how Western NY sounds like, but being from Milwaukee, WI, I found it to be very accurate, so I'm a little surprised by your disappointment lol
Love it. Originally from Pittsburgh, I would humbly suggest throwing in “Hey yinz guyz.” 😀
This chick is brilliant
