She kinda sounds like the Junker Queen from Overwatch 2
As an Australian, I thought she missed the mark. Props for trying though.

Only thing that gave her away was saying "mom"
as a Londoner, that London accent was very good. little bit of advice, most people in London don't speak that posh, most of us will speak politely but we tend to not pronounce certain letters and speak in slang and use shortened versions of words a lot, but apart from that you would fit in quite well in Chelsea and Kensington.
Wrong, the east Londoners definitely do

The only unrealistic thing about the “southern” accent was she didn’t say “y’all”
Exactly what I was going to say
Not really I’ve talked to someone with a strong southern accent and he said y’all. But only once. So they don’t a lot.
as a southerner, i agree
@@chilledhill3970 actually just one wouldn’t be enough, My family is southern! Everytime I talk to my family members they say y’all a lot! Especially my cousins!
I have lived in the south for years, and it's mostly the people who were born and raised their whole lives in the south who say it on a daily basis. However a lot of the Gen Z and Gen Alpha's rarely say this
I love the scottish, irish, russian, brooklyn and french accent. Just such a joy to listen to. I've grown to like the texas accent too
And basically they all seem to be a form of Russian accent without the real deep voice 🤣
One of the best Aussie accents I’ve ever heard! Being an Aussie I’ve heard so much horrible interpretations and it comes out sort of kiwi. You did us Aussie’s from down under a solid!

As a proud Canadian that sounds just like an American, I’m so happy that you distinguished between a few different dialects. I didn’t know you were Canadian and when I saw that you were going to do accents I thought, ‘Here we go, she’s going to do the stereotypical “Canadian” accent of which, no one I know or ever met in any province I’ve been to in Canada actually sounds like.’ But I was delighted that you presented a few different ones eh? Ya, we do say eh a lot. And we are overly polite. I think they are related as we make a statement then politely add the eh to make it a question that is up for debate or input. Polite eh?
Also as a Canadian, when we do put eh at the end, it does make it like a question but it is a quite polite way to say things. And very well put together.
As a Canadian I’m just happy😂
In Britain (London, South East) we often add "Yeah" on to the end of a sentence. So; "We'll go to that pub, yeah?" or "Don't kick that ball near my car, yeah." 😊
As a Canadian, I'm surprised she didn't throw an "oh, sorry!" in there.
As for the Newfie accent, years ago my cousin was dating a guy from Trinity Bay... I swear it took me 3 weeks til I understood what he was saying 😅
@@catbirdler Oh sorry I didn’t mention the oh sorry. lol Yes, I’ve said sorry to the door after bumping into it 🤷🏻♀️ It’s what we do. And the Newfie accent, oh man, it is sooo different and hard to understand. 😆
I'm Scottish...that was a good attempt! You did the silent t's in the word 'Scottish' which most people don't do when imitating us 😁
my mates British with the accent and has a proper good Scottish accent
@@Blatant-pidgeon2 there's no such thing as a 'british' accent lol, do you mean he's English but can do a Scottish accent?
Ps - Scottish people hate that people associate Britain or the UK as being just English, I'd put money on the Irish, Northern Irish and Welsh not being too pleased about it either!

Yep
Because they HAVE to change.
That's how you get the right sound! 👍
As someone who loves doing accents and funny voices as well, I thought you did an amazing job! Very well done.
You did great! I saw my first Amy Walker video about 10 years ago, and she really nailed accents from anywhere on the planet, so I sometimes search on youtube for more of her videos, and I find good videos like yours! Not everyone can do accents spot on, or dead on. Accents are like celebrity impressions. Only some of society can do them where they sound great, and you did great!
Saw that in Spanish class once to drive home the point you can say the things but it can vary so greatly depending on the region it’s supposed to said in. I loved her accents and I picked up the Transatlantic accent as one I can imitate because of it.
"They have 15 dialects" As an Irish woman can confirm ... And that's just here in Dublin! Seriously though lads why dose such a small island have more then the entire continent of North America? lol
Here in sligo she was pretty accurate
galway accent is more the smallest bit of american and a light irish accent
Here in Cork we also have like 15 dialects XD
and even from one side of a county to another it can be almost impossible to understand lol
True there's at least 2 per county.
Eg: North Dublin, South Dublin. Cork, West Cork. But there's much more in most counties
Serious answer,it's because of the different plantations and attempted extinction of the Irish language. We had a small handful of dialects for Irish, but as the country was taken over at different rates, they developed accents differently. Then add in the rural to urban shift and your left with a couple hundred different accents.
As a german, I'm really proud of Kris for managing to say 'ch' because most english people pronounce it like a k
Oh and in germany we don't say:
'Are you done yet?'
We say:
'HAMMAS BALD

Vocal fry is not harmful. It's totally fine to use (from a health perspective) when talking/singing.
@@Sapphireia it can be harmful to your throat, actually. However, its effects rarely extend beyond pain. So yes, it'll hurt, and is damaging in that sense, but the pain isn't a sign of anything deeper
Kris: "Dont take offense to the accents, I know they are not accurate"
Me: *Entertained by all attempted accents "who would be offended by this??"
Kris: *Refers to missouri as Southeastern, then does a southeastern US accent
Me (offended from Carolina): "Shut the front door! Ya'll I know she didnt just use movie-reel-plantation-southern, lawd have mercy."
MISSOURI IS MY FAR AWAY Home
U from Nc?
My name is Carolina 🤞💀
Missouri is awesome kind of it's really not that great I'm from here
I laughed so hard when she did that one (also from nc)
I was in down under (Aussie land) for a season and you nailed the Aussie accent. The rural has a longer slur while the city folks slightly shorter. But yeah. It takes a while to remember a as aaai and e as "eai" sounds. the vowels just slurrrr .
Love your shorts vids
OH MY GOODNESS! You were way to smooth with it! It sounds so natural
Her talking about vessi’s:
Me: when will you say they’re water proof?!?!

you spelt sponsor wrong
i think you meant ireland?not orland?
Bri thx
Ok but from an Australian - that accent was freaking amazing
as an irish person, i was really impressed! i'd say an irish accent is one of the hardest to do because there isn't just one standard irish accent. there's at least 2 per county lmfao, so it's hard to narrow it down to just one dialect to learn from. you did really well though, it was one of the best i've seen! most people completely butcher it and start saying 'top o the mornin to ya' and shite like that ahaha
there were only a couple words that sounded a bit funky. the first time you said 'favorite' was absolutely perfect, but then you went into a slightly english twang the second time you did it, as well as on words like 'to' and 'so'. but you mastered what i call the 't whistle' (when a t sound at the end of a word gets drawn out so it's not abrupt and sounds more like a whistle or a sh sound). keep working on it, it sounds great!
all the Irish that I learned was from Jacksepticeye, so I'm not very knowledgeable of that accent.
Yes you’re correct there’s like a thousand different accents and dialects in Ireland but I’m just happy that I’ve finally found someone who doesn’t sound like a pirate when they try do the accent. Hopefully when travel starts opening up again you could visit, we’d love to have you 🇮🇪☘️
Haha, a PIRATE! I somehow know EXACTLY what you're talking about... and I ain't even Irish! :oD
I'm not a PIRATE, either! :oD
Yes we would!
Oml yes we would love Kris over here
Long John Silver lived in Bristol, England, supposedly the birthplace of Edward Teach, Blackbeard. In the early 1950s Disney produced films of “Treasure Island” (1950) and “Blackbeard the Pirate”(1952), and the same actor was used to play Silver and Teach - Robert Newton. Newton then reprised his role of Long John Silver for “Long John Silver” (1954) and the TV series “The adventures of Long John Silver (1955). Robert Newton was born and raised in Dorset, not far from Bristol, so he knew the West Country accent which Silver and Teach would have spoken in very well, and used it in those films.
