Song makes me tear up, hearing it as a 24 year old and then hearing it again as a 41 yr old dad, it hits different
One of the best bands since 2000,"neon bible" is one of my all time favourite albums,up there with Pink floyd,Depeche Mode,OMD and Talk Talk
What an album, Rebellion is amazing too.
Arcade are unique, it’s really hard to define their sound. You should hear Reflektor.

I was 13 when I first listened to this album when CDs were already dying off, but I got this album and put on my headphones and legit just sat there entire time soaking up all the lyrics... I’m now 24 and still get the same emotions 😭 the first album that every got me into “indie rock”.

This album, and song are so good. Canada was bursting with amazing music around this time. Wolf Parade, Broken Social Scene, Islands, Stars, The Dears, Death from Above 1979, Handsome Furs. As others mentioned, Rebellion is a killer song - one of my all time favorites. They are great live.

Arcade Fire is one of my favourite bands, the first song I heard was Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels), before the album was released. I'd not heard anything like it before and I remember I had goosebumps! It would be amazing if you could pick that as their next song to react to. Their best albums are Funeral and The Suburbs. Here are a few suggestions!

I absolutely hated this band back in the day when i was 18-20ish, i definitely like the lyrics of this song now but I still do not like the music. I was always a hard rock/metal guy but the lyrics of this song are very good. Will I listen to it? No but I now see where they were coming from lyrically wise
