Thanks for the PSA re: fire extinguishers. do you have a extinguisher for the van? also, curious why vacuum the dust when you are going to power wash it anyway? i find that vacuuming doesnt work as well on dust in places with a lot of crevices. like a PC. i usually blow air instead. but for engines. i use awesome soap from 99c store and gardenhose i learned from a car salesman. 3 more to 400 subs!
It’s the only way to clean them.
I use a foaming dirt, & engine degreaser then the garden hose.
A clean engine gives me a good feeling inside.

Hindsight on the power wash. Someone told me not to, but it was so bad I decided to risk it. No issues. Thanks for the comments.

I live in fear of screwing up my subie swapped Vanagon engine by hosing it off. The engine compartment needs it. I remain fearful.
