Thanks for making these easy-to-understand and quick videos! I have an 08 and 09 Civic. I really hate working on cars but your videos help to provide the inspiration and insight needed to make the job much easier and save lots of time and frustration.
Good tips. My advice is for the rear shocks and their boots. Be sure to remove them and reinstall to the replacement shock. They have to be seated and pressed in position.
Danny thanks for the vid. Do the side of the windshield mouldings last thru a brush type car wash? Worried about do the work and then seeing an empty spot, on side of the windshield, on the outside of the car wash
Thanks for the video, i have a question regarding the 8th gen Honda civic 2008 the screen i have replaced once still having the same issue Cant read the numbers of speed how to fix it
I’ve heard of this issue with 8th gen civics, a bad solder joint may be the issue and replacing the unit might need to be done, here is something to check. Entering the self-diagnostic function (without HDS) Before doing the self-diagnostic function, check the No. 10 (7.5 A) fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box and No. 23 (10 A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box. 1. Push and hold the SEL/RESET switch button. 2. Turn the headlights ON. 3. Turn the ignition switch ON (II). 4. Within 5 sec., turn the headlights OFF, then ON and OFF again. 5. Within 5 sec., release the SEL/RESET switch button, and then push and release the button three times repeatedly. NOTE: While in the self-diagnostic mode, the dash lights brightness controller operates normally. While in the self-diagnostic mode, the SEL/RESET button is used to start the Beeper Drive Circuit Test and the Gauge Drive Circuit Check. If the vehicle speed exceeds 2 km/h (1.2 mph) or the ignition switch is turned OFF, the self-diagnostic mode ends. just try this as well and tell me if any error codes come up.
Have you been happy with your floor coating? Would you recommend this foor type or something like swiss trax type flooring? Did you install yourself or a company?

Please don’t tell people to get rid of those excellent Honda wiper arms. They are better than what’s in my Volvo or bmw. Just replace the rubber inserts in 5 minutes with Honda inserts for $10.

I couldn’t agree with you more, I wish I had my oem wiper arm, but they have been gone for years, most cars already have aftermarket arms.
@@dannysdiygarage I replaced my this year. They were expensive. Like $80 but worth it going forward to just replace the inserts.
