    For spring swap and lubing the plunger, you do NOT need to remove the transfer bars.

      Thanks for catching that! We realized that in the editing ourselves; we'll be filming and reuploading soon.

      @@lukegoodman5877 one of my transfer bar pins is in extremely tight, so removing from the turnaround block is very tough.
      Thankfully v4 SLAB allows front end removal with just the 3 screws which only thread into the bars.

    Loved the video, very helpful! I’m having trouble with the air seal though. Any tips on how to find out where it’s not sealing and how to improve it?

    • @lukegoodman5877
      @lukegoodman5877  Год назад +1

      The first thing to do is check all of your O-rings, replace them if they are damaged, and lubricate the ones on the ramrod-pusher and the plunger. The barrel should interface snugly with the other two O-rings in the turnaround and don't need lubrication. If that doesn't solve your sealing issues, email us at orders@outofdarts.com

    I don’t have one (yet) but is there any way to change the length of the trigger pull?

    • @lukegoodman5877
      @lukegoodman5877  Год назад +2

      Yes! There's a screw installed at the top of the trigger that you can adjust to alter the length of the trigger pull. I'll put that on the list to add to our updated tuning guide in the future!

      @@lukegoodman5877now I have one, and I’m having problems with the threaded rod not seating properly when it’s unprimed, something to keep it forward or in place would be nice to add

      This isn't in the out of darts build guide but there is a space on the inside of the blaster for a screw so you can loop a bit of elastic around the part that the transfer rod threads into.

    How often should I re-lubricate the plunger tube?

    Living here in the southeast I'm very hesitant to order one of these would really like to have one though.

      I live in the Midwest and my SLAB works fantastic. Just pick darts appropriately for the humidity and don't leave your blaster in your trunk in direct sunlight.

      @SirBrass Год назад +1

      @@turnersawman no, just fine to take it outside. Just don't leave it under glass in the heat.
      I live in the Midwest where summer heat and humidity is way worse than anything I experienced growing up in the South. Not had any community blaster warping issues yet during summer games.

    • @lukegoodman5877
      @lukegoodman5877  Год назад +2

      We've shipped SLABs all across the country with very limited issues with warping. The problem only arises when blasters are left in a vehicle on a sunny day, where the greenhouse effect causes temperatures to rise 20 degrees hotter compared to outside.

      @@lukegoodman5877 I understand but I also understand I would be one of those limited ones. I'm sure limited numbers of nightingales just burn up for no reason. But guess who is part of that limited number. And with no warrantee what's the point. Love the idea of the slab but I'm the one that has the problems. Heck even my tachi didn't work for long.☹️
