I love this theory! I've been believing that Aria has some sort of mental disorder such as MPD (which has a different name now, something like dissociative identity disorder or something) and your theory has furthered my belief
5sosArticleBeauty also, DID/MPD is usually caused by severe trauma in early childhood, anything similar to that in addition to genetics could have furthered the disorder. It's also believed to be an offshoot of Borderline Personality Disorder (which I believe is a disorder that aria definitely has, I've know multiple people with that disorder and they all acted quite similar to how aria acts. It's also very strongly hereditary), trouble coping with stress, and trouble with keeping relationships. 5sosArticleBeauty Thanks for the links. To me Aria's whole family seems kinda looney. There was also Byron's sister, Ruth, who stuffed her cat and talked to it. Cray, cray. I don't think they'd point out several times that mental illness runs in her family for no reason. :O I won't be surprised if Charles/Wren and Bethany are linked to the Montgomery's since they're both crazy too.

Yes, his surname also refers to a bird, like Wren. I've seen some wild theories out there about him being Scott Montgomery, but I'm not going into the deep with this. Let's look if he returns sometime soon.
while i'm not too sure on the Wren part, the Aria is part i'm definitely on board with. especially the part about Iceland; my theory is that the family never went to Iceland, it was a coverup for Aria spending a year at Radley (which would explain why the guard had thought he recognized and how she looked scared when he said that) and that she met the real Charles in Radley and when he died, she and whoever her partner is, are the ones using Charles as a front

Another great thought of yours ! It will be wonderful if Aria really has that MPD, that would make her character more interesting rather than a girl who only obsessed with her teacher.. Haha , i anticipating a lot of the upcoming storyline to be awesomely twisted like all of your theories xD

Aria has been shadier than ever since 5x25. I know everyone deals with trauma in their own way but she seems rather unaffected in comparison to the other girls. To me she seems to be feeling immense guilt, which is also natural to feel especially with their games, but it just seems to me there is something more there. Like I'm kind of thinking that maybe she regrets going along with the kidnapping plan if she was involved in it or something like that?
Anyway, I do think it's plausible she's working with A or is Uber A and she has MPD and the Aria we know actually really has no clue what's going on.

You put all those clues together and you even included some I didn't notice like the Bell Jar :) I love the idea of Aria teaming up with her cousin to avenge Bethany, but I also hate it because that would mean we were fooled since season 1. Seriously I really hope she is innocent and isn't aware of Wren being her cousin or I'm gonna despise her.

I love that! Your theory is amazing! That would be a much better ending than just Charles being A, a character we didn't even know about until the end of the 5th season but if A was a character we knew since the very beginning, A being a pretty little liar is the ending I want!
also you can imagine that wren is bethany's brother. But I think that only he in son of mrs. D. It completely matchs to all clues! Like when mrs. D tried to cover up the person who had hit alisson that night when she disappeared, and the bethany's drawings which a boy(maybe charles aka wren) is being taken by a monster(mrs. D). Wren ( aka Charles ) went radley because he suffered mental illness and was expelled by alisson's father because he was not his father because it was scott montgomery. And how Bethany was killed that night he is trying to get revenge on alisson ( he would have tried to kill her before cause he wanted mrs. d's attention and now for being the reason for Bethany 's death- that's why she is his favorite). And this also explains why aria never suffered from "a", because they are cousins. Sorry for the english, i just wanted to show my opinion to you.
Did anyone pay attention to what Spencer was wearing? Spencer's shirt in 6x01 was almost identical to the shirt Wren wore when he met Spencer for the first time in 1x01. Aria's also dressed quite similarly to the way she dressed in 1x01 with the black leather jacket and purple shirt. Noel was apparently the one who put the fake blood over Spencer, so he must have been the one who wanted to see Aria's pink streaks back, because he was the only one who knew she had them aside from Ezra, Jason, Mona. Jason was madly in love with Aria and also really liked Aria's pink streaks. Also, the way Hanna's dressed in 6x01 is similar to the way Jessica is dressed in the video Spencer watched in Charles' vault. When Hanna started losing weight, Alison probably started gaining it. Throughout the series, it's been pointed out that it used to be a lot easier to tell Hanna and Alison apart. Considering Hanna was born March 7th 1994, it would be impossible for her and Alison to be twins considering Hanna is three months older than Alison. They could either be half-sisters through having the same Dad, or they're cousins. Pastor Ted was more of a better father figure than Wilden and Tom were. Then there's also that odd moment when Ashley is more of a mother to Alison than Hanna. So, now I'm starting to think that they could have been switched at birth.
Part 1 was super interesting but a lot of the stuff in part 2 have simple explanations. The mirror gazing thing, for example. She's a teenage girl. Looking in the mirror is pretty common at that age. Plus, I'm really getting sick of how Aria is criticized for how she handles the dollhouse thing. Everyone handles trauma differently. Aria's way of dealing with it is that she tries to block it out as much as possible and just move on. Of course, it's not healthy but I think she's doing the best she can. Personally, I think I'd be handling it a lot like Aria is. Doesn't mean I have MPD or that I'm evil or something...
Jessica Patino I agree. Of course, Aria's behavior can have simple explanations if the writers don't want her to be involved. It's all just theories. Aria could be total innocent and not related to Wren at all. It's pretty much just guessing for fun, until we find out everything in 6x10. ;)
Marlene said that the song "Unwritten" that they used in 5x25 was a clue and I think its the clue about Arias story not finished yet (they havent beat A and A hasnt beat them yet) bc one of the lines says "the pens in my hand, ending unplanned" so i definitely agree with this theory! it makes no much sense and it seems like Aria wants Charles to win and if it ends up not being true then the real reasons better explain all of these clues pointing towards Aria

But Aria did get tortured in the doll house, because in Songs of Innocence or songs of experience she says sorry to Spencer (about shocking her with the button), although since no one ever really got shocked Spencer just said "for what?" and then Aria didn't say anything after that.

I think this is great for Aria because she would totally betray her friends for this and Aria could have been betrayed by Ezra her teacher and she keeps playing the game
Aria has gotten worse as the series has went on whilst the others have gotten stronger she has gotten more unstable and afraid? Maybe because they are closer to finding out her secret?

I have a theory about your theory video Ezra/Wren being twins is that when Aria was quickly jumping to Andrew being Charles maybe she knows its Wren and that Wren is related to Ezra and is helping Ezra out by protecting Ezra and Wren, which is why she recognized him before Spencer did and is always one to quickly point the finger to someone by saying "He's A"
Emily McMartin Yep, Ezra's parents were also both unfaithful, so if Ezra & Wren aren't twins, they could still be half-brothers.

Meredith and Mona are the letter M of the A and B team, they worked together thanks to Ali and Aria, Aria and Ali discovered that she had an unhappiness with the father of aria and mona thanks to the bullying, Melissa and she are black widow since they became widows

I believe that Cece isnt the REAL "A" there is literaly no evidence and there is soooo many plot holes!! Marlene made wren be the original "A" but then it somehow got leaked so out of ALL the WHOLE cast she changed it to CECE DRAKE!....

Meriem Zoubiri Yes. It appears in many "Aria is A" theories. She was writing her name on the window, because the music was too loud. The way she wrote her last letter resembles the signature of many A-notes.
