That was full of beauty Carrie - views, lanes, halls and churches. Yeah, I wouldn't mind one or two of those places either. Well, we can't overdose on beauty. I want to see you on Pen Hill now. We saw that a few times. Have a great week ahead. Mark
Hi Carrie, thank you very much for the sub to my channel. 🙏 What a lovely walk on such a lovely day. I loved the church. I do love a walk round a church and church yard, always so interesting. Enjoy the rest of the weekend, all the best, Dave
What a beautiful location there Carrie, thank you for your tour around the paths and villages. A couple of years ago I had a ride on the Wensleydale Railway as far as Leyburn and I think there are plans to extend further, along the tracks you crossed on your hike, to Redmire. Anyway, thank you for another video, cheers, Warren :)
Nice one Carrie. Yes old churches are places of peace and tranquility, where you can gather your thoughts whatever your ideology. Always a sanctuary in a noisy busy world. Cheers mate.
Hi Pete, it amazes me how the world outside of churches changes so much (even in the Yorkshire Dales!) however, time seems to stand still inside these ancient mediaeval structures- they are definitely are a sanctuary from the modern world.
Lovely content! Thank you again! Can’t really go wrong with Wensleydale can you. In late 2019 the BBC put out a series called “Yorkshire Walks” and Shanaz Gulzar did a very similar one from Leyburn to Bolton Hall. Your two walks complement each other perfectly. Thank you.
Perfect day , the lack of leaves on the trees meant you really captured the views
Wensleydale sure looks beautiful....wish i had a few bob so i could live there.
Hi Carrie it looks like a lovely walk, I’ll have to watch it later because I’m at work now 👍cheers Glenn

Fab video and hike Carrie. Did it a few months back. Penhill is always great to see and walk on especially from Witton and along to West Burton.
It's a lovely walk up there, I'm thinking of popping up next week when the weather improves☺

Hi Michael, thanks, I've never watched that programme but it sounds great, I'll have to look it up :D
Some of those scenes were familiar from walks we've done in the past, with the ever-present Penhill.
Hi David, it is a beautiful area to walk in and so peaceful :D
