Yeah really the reporter is a good skater. But everyone in the NHL is a good skater and Datsyuk clowns them as well in one on one situations.
i was surprised how good the reporter was, pavel did make him look like a clown but even pavel gave him credit for being fast

Datsyuk can make every player look like a clown. You can go with Crosby or Malkin, not mentioning others. If they all play with full force, there is no matter who has the puck at the start of the show, cause at the end, Pavel will own it.

Datsuyk is the best 'all-around' player in the NHL. Period. Theres noone else even close.There's guys that are better pure scorers sure but this guy plays defense,wins faceoffs,backchecks, forechecks,kills penaltys, an insanely good passer,an exceptional skater.No afraid to go into the corners to do the dirty work unlike alot of other skilled players who'd rather wait to be set up. He makes the players around him better.If you saw him play every night you'd realize how good he truly is

Exactly..Funny how the human condition needs an explaination for things they cant wrap their heads around. Natural Innate talent is the reason and he has it while the majority dont. He is better at thinking the next move. He is more talented and smarter and nothing can ever change that. He is special one in a billion

fair enough, I could be mistaken on the ovie thing, but my main point is that the IIHF championship is not a measure of how good teams are, since most top end players don't play in them.
Its the olympics that is the true determiner of great teams.
The reporter isn’t NHL caliber but he’s clearly no scrub, he looks like a very competent player. Datsyuk toys with him like he’s a 5 year old kid without even trying. Nobody better at puck protection in the history of the game.

@Iash92 Wings have the best scouts, and while I'm not guaranteeing they're always going to find Datsyuks and Zetterbergs in the later rounds, they do have some young talent in players like Jan Mursak, Corey Emmerton, and Tomas Tatar. Those three (specifically Tatar and Mursak) have the potential to be legitimate stars in the NHL.
