- A cold but nice December evening spent trainspotting at Northallerton Station on 19th December 2023.
Lots of action as usual, featuring high speed CrossCountry Voyagers, LNER Azumas and a Lumo, as well as the occasional stopper service from TransPennine Express, Grand Central and the occasional LNER Azuma stopper.
Also featuring a couple freight trains and loco movements.
Trains featured:
LNER Class 800 & 801 Azumas
CrossCountry Class 220 & 221 Voyagers
TransPennine Express Class 185s & 802s
Grand Central Class 180s
Lumo Class 803
GBRF Class 69 & 66s
EWS Class 66
Freightliner Class 66s & 70

Awesome video but why you didn’t go up to the platform to see the triple headed freight?
I’d only just got off the train and I heard the level crossing further down go off, so if I walked to the end of the platform I was on, I would’ve probably not seen it at all
