Thanks for helping me out to make that mouse decision between m550 l and m550. What i liked the best was your calming voice over and focus on the product itself unlike other tech channels where author keeps zooming camera towards his face rather than the product being reviewed. I believe it’s just an indicator of power. Turns on when you first power on the mouse or wake it from a period of inactivity. It turns off fairly quickly afterwards, though. I think it shows red when the battery is low, though I haven’t made it through 2 years of use to know that for sure.
