Superb performance from Amira. Credit to the backing choir and orchestra too. 14 years old and singing it in good Swedish. She sang a couple more later in the show, Hallelujah, and Amigos para siempre. But this is my favorite. Love the big dress too.

In this concert, Amira, at the age of 14, sings a beautiful song in Swedish, one of the 11 languages she has sung in. This song is on the soundtrack of a famous Swedish movie. Amira kicks it out of the park. As for suggestions, here's a list of wonderful female and male voices who sing in the crossover genre and don't use autotune: super sopranos Patricia Janečková, Wendy Kokkelkoren and Sarah Brightman, Celtic Woman group, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban and Jonathan Antoine. Like Amira, any of their songs is excellent. But, of course, Amira is the undisputed sovereign queen.

Amazing that she could sing in Swedish... And a Swedish woman who reacted to this a while back was shocked that her pronunciation was good ...

Singing in flawless Swedish. Not a language that she spoke. An absolutely amazing young woman. I think she was only 14 here.

Another terrific reaction! "Gabriella's Song" is from a Swedish movie called "As It Is In Heaven". So of course Amira sang this in Swedish! Amira's father is Dutch, and her mother is from South Africa. She is fluent in Dutch, Afrikaans, and English. She has sung in these 9 languages all by age 16. Dutch, Afrikaans, English, Italian, German, Swedish, Spanish, French,
and Neapolitan. At age 19 she also sang in Latin.

This song from the film As It Is In Heaven is possibly the first time Amira tried singing in Swedish, and a Swedish Reactor complimented her on her grasp of the language! Thanks, Grandpa. You asked for suggestions. Have you played Emma Kok? Dutch girl singing Voila, Dancing on the Stars, and much more.

Amira is singinging this in perfect Swedish - a language she doesn't understand and doesn't speak. I'm from Sweden and can confirm that her Swedish is perfect here. She has a litlle of the thick Dutch L, but otherwise you don't hear any foreign accent in it.

Singing in Swedish, at age 14. The song is from the Swedish film "As it is in Heaven" , which is about a woman in an abusive marriage situation - and it might just about be Amira's philosophy of life - "I just want to feel that I've LIVED my life". Sung in the 2018 "Classics is Groot" concert, in the "Sun Arena" in Pretoria, S.A. , to an audience of about 9500. It was item 10 of a total of 28 items.

You are reacting to her great videos. She is so good. For something different try Karolina Protsenko and Allie Sherlock perform Hero. Bye the way Amira is singing this in Swedish.
